I was a student of Mr Billingham in the 90’s. He taught me so much. In 2013 I was assaulted in a shopping center. I knew just what to do to protect myself and my 3 year old son. The scum bag jumped on me and I hate to think what he wanted to do to me. Mr Billingham taught me what to do to protect myself. I fought him off. I protected myself and my son. I will be forever be grateful that he taught me how to protect myself. God bless Mr Billingham

The practice was insanely good and Ive gotten. Awesome discipline he's very nice at self defense and in general a good coach with the others being nice, thoughtful, and caring in my opinion impossible to hate this place they've got punching bags, fast bags, a gym , ring, also they let you borrow equipment

I can not believe that Mr Billingham and Billingham,s Taekwondo only has 6 reviews. He molded half of Gloucester City's youth as i grew up. He saved my life through his love of my family and his love of Gloucester. He trained so many young people that didn't/couldn't pay. He trained future police officers right along side the unfortunates. If you couldn't pay, you would sweep and mop. You know what's funny because of his training and guidance i became a better man. A better friend. A better father. I am forever indebted to this man. He saved my life not only because i could defend myself but just as important he taught me courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit!

I received a text message from another student that my child was not allowed back to the program. Over a matter that have nothing to do with the class or students in it. Very bad business man if you ask me. Thank goodness there's plenty of karate classes because my daughter would've been heart broken

Mr. Billingham a 3rd degree black belt while I trained under him at the age of 15 was excellent at teaching me respect and discipline after my father died at such a young age. He helped me focus my young life into going into the Marine Corps and making a man of myself as well as helping be a father figure towards my 11 year old brother. I'm currently getting ready to register my 9 year old daughter in his class.

He, the owner, Mr Billingham is real good with children and he teaches them more than Karate, he teaches children self-esteem, respect for others , self respect and confidence, just to name a few things. "The School" also trains kick boxing and I believe Mr Billingham is a retired U.S. Champion Kick Boxer. Try them out for your children and yourself.
