I’m not someone who typically shares publicly. However I was so moved by my healing experience at CGI Closter that I had to share. I had a healing session with Master Sarah which was transcendent. I love CGI! The staff is beyond kind, the building is clean and beautiful, and the classes are 100% worth it. I take the BNB classes, which have helped me immensely with my mental health in addition to my physical health. I was afraid to do these classes at first, but after I kept going, it was worth it. I noticed a lot of changes just after a few days. It felt like I was 10x taller because my posture fixed itself, which was bizarre to me. Never in my life have I experienced any martial arts, but I am glad that Tai Chi was where I started. I’ve come to find that Tai Chi is just as powerful as any other martial art. Never have I felt so grounded and less anxious in my whole life. Overall, I would say that CGI is somewhere I love to be every week and I never regret coming to class. Every second I am here I get something out of it. Not to mention that the workshops have helped me immensely as well.

I've been grateful to be able to go back to swimming at the club, and feel safe there as they are being very careful to follow all the safety guidelines and protocols. I recently decided to branch out a bit and try some Tai Chi classes, which are taught by various staff members, all of them excellent. It's a great adjunct to walking, swimming and weight training, particularly during the stressful period we're all experiencing. Again, their practices help me to feel perfectly safe in the classroom. The club is really a refuge.

My experience so far with Body and Brain Education at CGI (both on Zoom and in person) has been truly life-changing. Through the practice and with the guidance of the masters I've grown so much more connected to and attentive of my body, aware of and able to manage my emotions, and most of all through this work so much of my fear of life is leaving me - I can start to see all the choices I have, to do what I love and pursue goals that always intimidated me before. I have been a member of CGI Body and Brain for five months. I'm 80 years old and I'm so glad I found CGI Body and Brain.My level of energy has risen tremendously. The Masters who are instructing me are amazing people in many ways, including their compassion. The Center feels like home to me. Every week I increase my energy flow through guided instruction on Zoom. I am so glad that I found this excellent and powerful organization, and I am confident that I will continue to improve as time goes on. I highly recommend it to everybody who is looking for the perfect place to study Qi Gong.

I had the distinct privilege to study tai chi with a 32nd generation Shaolin monk some years back. That study enriched me in both mind and body. That option ended years ago and I have searched for something in any way close to that experience. I was unsuccessful until I joined CGI Body & Brain a few weeks ago.

I love that each class makes me feel free and happy. I feel my energy build up and move through my body in different ways in the various classes. I wear a Fitbit that tracks the calories I expend during any workout. Each of these classes burns more calories than the barre classes I have been taking, and about the same amount as an active fitness class that I take. But B&B classes feel good and not at all like work. For a portion of each class we sit still and meditate or relax each part of our bodies, yet I still burn more calories than when I struggle to do exercise classes that feel like work and not joy. I look forward to exploring all the options CGI has to offer.

Let me start by saying body and brain is not your average yoga studio or Gym these people actually care about your well-being. I was greeted by Marnie with a hug when I first entered the door you immediately feel welcomed the minute you come in and it, feels sincere. The whole staff is amazing and knowledgeable. I have done Martial arts for years and
Yoga as well. Never experienced anything like this place! The class is gentle and challenging at the same time without overdoing it. Every movement is made to stimulate some part of the body that needs to be woken up it’s not something that Gym can give to you. I am a mother of a special needs child and I also have another young child and at times it could be very challenging to stay calm and distress.
I found this class because I was looking for something to give me the strength to get through my day and be a better mother and a stronger person.
I no longer have to look I have found my tribe my peace of mind and me thanks to body and brain 🙏🏼

I take a weekly training @cgiholisticfitness callled ILT that helps me master my emotions to keep focus on my goals, have body control & remain a positive soul . It combines mind, body techniques & neuroplasticity that leaves me feeling full of life ... healthy & happy.

This training helps you realize your not your emotions and helps just focus on what's important. When experiencing this all your pain, doubts, fears & hatred fade away, leaving you feeling whole and happy. You might even fix a a physical pain you been having. All of this is not only important to keep motivated & going but allows your energy to rise from a low vibration to high one. Exactly what you need most to succeed in what you set your vision on. With low energy results are most likely gone.

For me most importantly my trust in my inner abilities has further increased and I never leave there without getting a big hug from either one or all of the beautiful souls attending. A sense of fulfillment is an understatement . Something that cant ever be taken from me. #purepotentialliving

If you feel you need to do yoga or meditate and they are both something that you hate. This technique is for you. Your mind stays balanced but does not need to sit still and your movement is based upon how you feel!

A practice for all that has potential for humanities survival...

I wanted to get my father into Tai Chi so I came here for a class and while getting my father to commit to a plan, I ended up really loving how the class and the people there made me feel. After several years of consideration, I finally joined CGI 3 months ago. It was serendipitous as I was looking to improve my health and exercise more, and a CGI representative was at a health fair I attended. The classes are a cross between yoga, tai chi, regular exercise, and energy work. I've improved my focus, flexibility and joy. The teachers are excellent, and they truly care about our healing and energy. It feels like family. I look forward to class each time (which is not normally how I feel about going to a gym). They offer so much more too. My attitude about myself has definitely changed for the better. It's definitely worth checking out.

It’s all about energy. I hope my five stars says it all. I don’t want to say too much. I’d rather you experience and feel it for yourself. Can one hour and ten minutes change your life? You bet it can! Whether you want to lose weight, increase your energy, suffering from chronic illness or condition the list goes on. I could write a book of so many awakenings and healings, a state of wellness and peace that people come here for.

After practicing and teaching for over ten years in Body n Brain I experienced the most amazing benefits for my health. It never stops if you keep practicing . I traveled many centers and many places teaching this wonderful practice and had an amazing opportunity to be a part CGI BodynBrain too.

CGI Body n Brain is one of a kind. The space is big. They have a two training rooms and a very holistic approach to healing. The environment is very tranquil inside and out. . I’ve been a memeber of CGI for almost 3 years and it’s been an extremely positive experience for me. Aside from the Himalayan salt and infrared light saunas and steam rooms, the center offers a variety of yoga and exercise classes, a nice gym, spa services, spiritual workshops, group trainings and private healing/wellness sessions. My sessions with Jay always help me find my center and feel more grounded in this uncertain world we live. The positive energy and warmess of the staff add to the positive climate. I wanted to share that I have had an incredible experience recently with mind body energy/chi training at the CGI Body & Brain center in my new town. I am so grateful for all the teachers/healers there who have inspired and hugged me and especially Master Marnie who has been a Mentor/teacher/healer and Master Jae for all his hugs, support and encouragement! It really helped me to deal with the recent loss of my long suffering mentally ill brother. I also decided to begin their Acupressure Energy Healing program and yesterday I gave 5 chair massages at a corporate Heath fair nearby. I intend to become a certified NJ healer this next year! I was really happy when I was told I had very warm hands and relaxed people. It felt so nice to give my positive warm energy to them! I will still give my photography to people but this was an additional way to give positive energy to heal more of my community. In this current climate with so much hate, anger and negativity, I really needed to find a bigger way to help!

I’ve been a BNB yoga member for years and I find that classes are helpful in keeping my body from getting stiffer, especially as I get older. I’ve been going to yoga 2-3x a week but I would like to go more. I feel I receive more energy in the group setting and hope to continue as long as I can. There are many classes and activities to do here. I come here to do my private session for healing, Light of Tao, and Initial Awakening. My brain and body work like they are supposed to, thanks to Brain and Body practice. I am currently interning and I want nothing more than to make folks feel as I do right now. I really love taking the classes here. There is so much variety. This is more than just aerobic exercise; through this unique form of yoga, I was able to get back in touch with my body. I was not flexible when I started; touching my knees was impossible. After a year of these classes, I can easily touch both palms to the ground.
The instructors dont push you too hard; they encourage you to go at your own pace.Through getting back in touch with my body, I recovered from food allergies and am able to eat what I like.I'm better able to tell what is good for me and what is not. Listening to my body is great. I'm thankful that I found it here!

I've been a member since October 2014 (so for 9 months). Before taking Body & Brain yoga and taichi, I was always very tense, tired and short of breath (I had exercise induced asthma as well) - and I didn't realize how poor my health was, despite appearing very fit.

Now, my flexibility is improving, my breathing is MUCH better (I no longer suffer from ANY asthma), and my stress levels are much lower. I'm able to control my immune system's strength through this practice, and I no longer get sick. I highly recommend taking a class - you'll see immediate results, such as feeling better and having more energy - however, as with anything, you'll receive further benefit through regularly going to classes.
