Believe it or not, we have be apart of the Center Stage Dance and Theatre School since 1987. There was no other choice in my mind where I would send our daughter and son to dance when the time came to dance. My daughter has been a part of CS family for the last 12 years, and a current pre-professional senior dance company member. Center Stage has given both my children foundational tool set that transceds the dance floor. Tap techinque enhanced my son's soccer abilties. Acting and singing enhanced my daughter's public speaking skill set beyond the stage, but into the classroom. Life lessons are taught and solified at the studio. The staff, directors and choreographers top quality and best in class. We drive well over a half hour (after a move) to continue our child's training which is her second home. We not have it any other way.

We love Center Stage. We have been with them for 13 years. Both my daughters started there around four years old. They are now both company dancers. The teachers there are wonderful and very talented in all areas of dance: ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. They all have a creative approach to every dance they do. The staff is great. They are always friendly and very helpful. This is a wonderful place to dance and become part of the family..

We’ve been part of this dance school family for six years, with our twins on the competitive dance team for the last three, and we couldn’t be happier. Despite being a large school, they manage to maintain a close-knit, family atmosphere. Everyone knows each other, cares deeply, and they genuinely treat clients like family.

A special shoutout goes to Jonathan, who has made this studio not just his business or career but his life’s work. He puts every bit of himself into making it an incredible place. His passion and dedication are what make this studio truly grand.

Sue deserves all the recognition for shaping who my kids will be for the rest of their lives. She’s left an imprint on every member of my family, and she's the reason why my girls will never stop dancing. They’re so fortunate to learn from her, as she’s not only the best teacher but also an incredible human being.

And to the amazing Front Desk team—you’re so much more than just staff. You’re everything for our girls. From a hair tie to a hug, a word of advice, or even a firm nudge in the right direction, you’ve always been there when they needed it.

This school offers every form of dance you can imagine, along with gymnastics, musical theater (complete with vocal, instrumental, and acting classes). They create well-rounded performers, helping students develop into dancers capable of making a career from their education here.

The opportunities are endless, with custom classes and programs tailored to each dancer’s needs. The teachers are nothing short of amazing—professionally trained, highly skilled, and passionate about what they do. Their dedication is reflected in the fact that the studio regularly wins top awards at competitions, with their dancers consistently being some of the best trained.

The competitive team itself is like an extended family—there’s no drama, just supportive and nurturing friendships that last a lifetime. Our kids love being there, and despite the long hours, they see it as a reward, not a chore.

Most importantly, the directors truly listen to the parents. They care about feedback but always prioritize doing what’s best for the kids, and it shows in everything they do.

My daughter started dancing here when she was 5. The studio has become her second home. All the teachers are amazing and made her the dancer she is today which is 5 years later! They always encourage her to be the best dancer she can be and teach her how she needs to improve. As a Center Stage alum, I’m proud to send my daughter there as a second generation dancer. She has grown so much as a dancer, and every year I am blown away as I watch the recital to see how talented all of the Center Stage dancers are. Her teachers are the best in their field and have nurtured her love of dance while enabling her to grow and develop in multiple styles like jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and acro. Her fellow dancers are not only talented and hard working but they are also genuinely good people who are all supportive of each other, and she has developed wonderful friendships at the studio. We have been at this studio for many years. My daughter who is 9 started when she was 2.5. She started in the intro to dance class and has now moved on to a company dancer of various styles of dance. My son who is 7 did a class when he was about 3 and a few various types through the last 2 years has finally decided hip hop is for him. My kids love dancing here and the staff and teachers are all amazing! I highly recommend centerstage for all dancers!

Our journey with Centerstage Dance and Theater School has been nothing short of transformative. My daughter, who has been dancing since she was three years old, faced a difficult transition when she had to abruptly switch dance schools. After spending a challenging year at a school that didn't quite feel right, we attended the Centerstage end-of-year production, and everything changed. My daughter immediately knew this was the place for her.

Now, entering her second year, I can confidently say that this school has been a perfect fit. The supportive community, the challenging yet nurturing environment, and the passion of the instructors have allowed her to truly thrive. She looks forward to every class, every rehearsal, and every performance. Seeing her joy, growth, and renewed love for dance has been the greatest gift. Very disorganized, the front desk receptionist spends her work day on her phone and is very rude. Asking her a question feels like an interruption and she never quite knows the answers to even the simplest question. I put my daughter in a 10 week program. At the end of her last class they gave us FIVE minutes to watch her dance. No recital or anything. Her instructor literally said the class will do the dance twice in five minutes so we can record. There was one time in the middle of the program as well where parents were given FIVE minutes to peek in on the girl's progress. But, it was "impromptu" and unplanned until that morning so my family (and others) missed it. This place is just not worth your child's time.

I wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else for her dance, theater and musical theater training! They do it all so she can do it all!
