I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Loui Castaneda for being so attentive and kind while my kiddos were in the pool. My wife and I felt very reassured. He was incredibly diligent, respectful, and professional throughout. Plus, the up keep on the pool was spectacular!

If you’re booking any UTR or USTA games here, be prepared for overbooking, poor organization, and unprofessional behavior from some staff—including a USTA employee. Kids are often left waiting for long periods with no communication. Meanwhile, the Center Court staff member on site stands around chatting with players and parents, and when approached for help, responds with attitude, saying he’s not working and acting like it’s our fault for asking questions. If he’s not on the clock, why is he wearing a Center Court hoodie and present in the bubble?
Today, I saw one person trying to manage games across multiple bubbles, which meant no one was available to address issues as they arose—because they simply weren’t there.
I even had to clean the clay court myself. For USTA games, this is usually taken care of, but during the UTR event, the manager just told me to start playing. The court clearly hadn’t been prepared all day. When I started cleaning it myself, the person in charge looked irritated rather than saying thank you. I wasn’t even sure if the court was ready for a singles or doubles match.
This kind of neglect is unacceptable and shows that the focus isn’t on creating a professional or enjoyable experience for the kids.
I’ve been to many well-run facilities, and I know what organized looks like. Today’s match started an hour late, in a different bubble than planned—despite receiving four separate email confirmations with the original time and court details.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They secretly charged my credit card on file without any explanation. When I called to inquire, it took two weeks to get a response from the accountant. I was told my son had been upgraded to the next level, which costs more. Excuse me? You upgraded him with the same coach, without any evaluation or notification?
I then asked the head coach about this, and they had no idea what level my son is at. How ridiculous is that? I’m still in the process of negotiating a refund, but the entire management team seems disorganized and chaotic.

They offers a wide range of sports coaching programs for kids, including tennis, pickleball, and their exciting Ninja program. They also host fun and engaging birthday parties as part of their Ninja program, making it a fantastic option for active celebrations. Highly recommend this place for kids to learn, play, and have a great time!

Yesterday i took my son to a birthday party And I had an unpleasant experience with the lady who serves the pizza, she is rude and disrespectful and I asked her for several things like more pizza and juice for my son and she told me that she didn't have time and that she was new and that she had to wait and I think that lady doesn't qualify to work there.

The facility has numerous tennis courts, but the overall quality is disappointing. I visited for a USTA tournament and found the courts and facilities poorly maintained. If given the choice, I would avoid this venue in the future. While they have clay courts inside the bubbles, there’s no proper waiting area for visitors, and first-timers receive little to no guidance. #beeyem

I really like what they’re doing with their pickleball program. The courts are asphalt indoors. The lighting is a bit dim but the open play is one of the cheapest of any indoor facilities in Jersey and I appreciate it. The system they use for open play is also great cuz you can play many different opponents over the course of 2 hours. It gets crowded though that’s the only drawback and the courts are a bit cramped so when people walk by you have to keep pausing your game before you can start up again. Still highly recommend this spot

My kid had a birthday party, and another kid pushed him off the Ninja wall - 3rd highest one. This was no accident and ruined my son’s birthday after his arm was injured from the fall. And that evening went to ER. I requested the video footage from MJ Joshi head of operations, and has not followed up
Or turned it over- further more claims to not see anything. Sounds like a cover up! I wanted to know the truth of what happened to my son since other parent absolved themselves of this incident. This place only cares about getting your money - service is in the shitter!

I had a very disappointing experience with Centercourt Pickleball, specifically with the conduct of Bill, who runs the pickleball program. He singled me out on the courts and spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner, claiming I wasn’t good enough to play at a certain level—a level I’d been playing at there and at other clubs without issue. Bill offered no explanation or constructive feedback, making it clear he just didn’t want me there, despite my respectful and quiet demeanor.
Additionally, I was charged for open play sessions I didn’t attend, even though I had registered for an unlimited membership for the summer. They claimed I’d “no-showed” these sessions but never communicated any policy or gave me a warning, charging me without any notice. When I raised this with a manager, while they were kind and promised me I would not be charged, I was ultimately left without any refund or apology.
The courts and location are great, but the pickleball group is incredibly cliquey and unwelcoming. If you’re looking for a friendly, respectful pickleball community, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

They may have great facilities but they totally lack professional service and communications especially from Ari who runs the weekly UTR tennis for their 2 locations - Chatham and Florham Park. He manages UTR matches very poorly and wasted my kids time after he kept changing match times and opponents 8x for 1 match. For example, I got there for the 5pm match only to be told my kids' matches are now at 630pm without informing ahead. They definitely need to get their act together.

The facility is great but the interaction/ culture is horrible.
My gf and I frequented the pickleball open plays. We enjoyed it on the 3.0-3.5 scale.
We purchase a $150 package to play unlimited for the summer.
When we moved up to the 3.5 -4.0 scale everything changed. To be clear, we play 3.5 at every other club. A majority of the people who play here have a poor attitude. Almost bothered to play with you. It’s pickleball … snarky attitudes, grimacing looks, just a lack of welcoming energy . (For the most part)
The guy who runs the open play never introduced himself to us and made it extremely transactional.(Bill) They have zero interest in welcoming new people.
Zero evaluation process. One day , after I had already left, Bill pulled my gf aside and told her she’s not good enough to play at this level and that people have been complaining about her.
This is a wildly inappropriate approach. If you want to keep the range restricted, have a better evaluation process than “they don’t like playing with you.” Introduce yourself to people and evaluate there skills prior to allowing them to sign up. Don’t base it off of a single game or what other people are saying. Don’t tell someone they’re not good enough when they are a paying customer, instead approach with decency.
There’s much more welcoming , more fun, better cultured clubs to play at. This is like a members only club house for pickleball 😂

Great facilities for a summer camp! We did a tennis summer camp in July and it turned out to be one of the hottest weeks of the year with a high several days of 99 degrees. They have indoor tennis courts as well as outdoor, and offer an hour of pool time as part of the day long camp. Ping pong table and pool table are also inside for taking a break, they camp counselors were diligent about picking up lost hats and other items to put in the lost and found. The tennis instruction was great, lots of focus on technique, grip, and play time.

This review is for the pickleball facility here. 8 dedicated courts with non-permanent but very high quality nets. I believe these courts are recent (early 2023); previously the pickleball courts were on top of two lined tennis courts. Very nice upstairs lounge area overlooking tennis on one side and pickleball on the other.

- I am currently taking classes here, however I will not be signing up for additional sessions. Center Court is unprofessional and disorganized. Firstly you have no idea where to go EVERYTIME you have class. You have to call the front desk to find out what court your class is assigned AND they don't even answer the phone. My most recent session my instructor was out of town which he told me in advance and I'm sure informed center court however they did not provide a substitute instructor. When I called and emailed no one responded. I emailed to try and get a refund for the class and a week later still no response. Go somewhere else!

Terrible management, our kid spent 8 weeks summer camp here. The camp is overwhelmed crowded but seems like they dont think that would be a problem. They even recruit from Hoboken/Jersey city.
The counselors there is not well trained, not of them are only there sit and watch. They don’t care about your children’s fell and fight. Not even attempt to stop a bully issue.
So if you want yours kids to have real fun in the summer, AVOID this place!

The management at this place is pretty chaotic. We booked a private tennis coach. The first time the coach didn’t show up and the staff didn’t even seem to know there was such a guy working there, and failed to reach out to him. What’s worse was we got double charged after a sub coach filled in the class after we talked to the reception desk for half an hour. Second time, another coach was late for 15-20 minutes as he was not aware he was assigned a class on that day. We were disappointed with this place and asked to have money refunded to our credit card, and we were given a contact named “Lisa” who would never reply emails. Would highly recommend to avoid this place.

Our son attended camp this summer. The kids in his camp group were allowed to casually use the "N--Word" with only a very small repercussion. Our son was the only African American camper in the group and came home and told his he felt very uncomfortable hearing the word used. The camp director was neither concerned nor bothered by this. The camp director needs some cultural sensitivity and diversity training. Don't attend this camp.

My 10yr old African American son is attending their summer camp and heard 2 Caucasian boys in his group repeatedly use the N-word today w/o any meaningful consequence or repercussion by the camp. The camp director advised they have a no tolerance policy for such language - which clearly isn't true evidenced by the boys' continued presence there -- and that this was a teaching moment. However, when asked exactly what this 'teaching moment' taught my 10yr old, who already felt isolated as the only African American camper and was made to feel even more uncomfortable by this disgusting experience, she had no response. Kids say and do stupid things w/o understanding their true impact - even moreso when there's a racial component. The saddest and most disappointing aspect of this situation wasn't what the boys did to cause it, but what the camp didn't do to adequately address it.

My 6 year old son attended a birthday party at Centercourt where they all got to play on the obstacle course for an hour. According to him, it was a super fun time. He liked jumping on the trampoline into the foam pit the most. There was staff outside when we arrived to direct us to the right area which I found helpful as the location is very busy. Be prepared to park on the street as the parking lot was full with many cars waiting for a spot to open. I'd rather avoid that chaos and walk.

This place is an absolute garbage can of a facility.
Played in the bubble on clay and the lights are barely working, they are missing screens between courts, nets have holes in them, lines are barely tacked down with nails, and the bubble has mold growing on the ceiling! I will be calling the health department to have this place cited for unhealthy conditions!
Secondly, good luck getting any court time. As a member paying a pretty hefty amount monthly, but not being able to book courts, it is absurd.
Finally, complaints go totally unnoticed and they don't respond to your concerns.
Find somewhere else to spend your money on tennis, because this place is not worth it. Much nicer/more reasonable facilities in the area where they care about your business!

I am a Dad of a beautiful young princess. I have been bringing my child to this location for tennis training with several coaches over the past 9 months. It's a great tennis academy and we are seeing excellent results and the coaching experience and technique development are amazing.
I give the Academy a full 5 Star rating. If you kid is slightly determined, I don't see how they cannot be a International Champion. I will submit a 2 Start towards the horrible experience I had today, not towards the academy but the people who are entering the club. I entered court 17 in search of my daughter's coach a few weeks ago, and upon entering the swing around door with her, there were 3 menopause white ladies and one Indian lady. I am sorry for being racial, but they put themselves into this disgusting position. It seems they were friends, and they were playing doubles. One of the white ladies, a horrible soul, upon us entering, started yelling "Out!-Out!". I immediately became shocked and surprised of such rude, disrespectful and animal like behavior. The Indian lady, started saying, "You cannot be here!"..in the first second we entered. I immediately screamed the hell out of them, and to the top of my lungs and told them all "Excuse Me!...I demand you to show some respect!"...They continued in their menopause tone, and I screamed at them and told them to "Shut Up!!...Shut Your Mouth Right Now!!...Don't you dare in your life, ever raise your voice to me or show any disrespect to my child or any child whatsoever!!"
I didn't expected such a place would attract such a disgusting and horrible group of people. I don't know if this is the Chatam community or if this is an isolated event of disgusting people. It felt very racial and I must inform you, if this ever occur to anyone, please go to the front desk and file an immediate disciplinary complaint.
This is unacceptable and I feel this is far from the character of the club.
Always, remain professional and kind!! That's a minimal effort of decency.

It’s a great facility, with great coaches and most of the staff mean well. But there are others that do not take accountability for anything. It’s sad honestly. This company lacks huge communication skills. Prices do not reflect the effort Centercourt gives you (certain people are phenomenal). Membership is a waste, they claim you have access to 19 courts but that’s before or after programs M-F and weekends- good luck. Between 4-7pm it is nearly impossible to book a court. And that is without courts being taken for private lessons. They favor clinics over members which is why their membership base is declining. You are not saving money joining with a membership for discounted classes, you end up paying more long term. Great coaches that care about your progress, but they are over worked. When you sign up for any class, make sure you are given an email receipt, and I personally wouldn’t leave a card on file.

This place is declining at a rapid pace. How can membership be so expensive and increasing yet the bubbles are dirty...so dirty the ceiling looks like someone threw mud all over them. The courts themselves are so unplayable from lack of water and grooming that balls bounce like its a gravel driveway. Simple cleaning and maintenance would make this just above sub-par. Why are there grounds crew employees that dont keep the courts swept? Why is there holes in all the nets? Why is there missing light fixture and bad bulbs on every court? Its January and the bubbles are in condition of when Sandy hit NJ. Its sad and the lack of attention and the money that is spent is not kept to the level the members used to be accustom to in the past. Very disrespectful for the paying members that spend money year and year out. Is there any management left? And if there is, then it’s clear that they just simply don’t care.

I have had 2 playing contracts w CC of Florham for as long as they’ve owned the facility. They’ve kept the prices reasonable and learned how to keep it clean after the first year of stumbling. It sees a lot of instructional activity w the academy, but they honor our contracts, even providing a snow day for missed time. However, Bonnie and the other receptionists make the place tick and warm and inviting.

My son really enjoyed the Red Ball and Red Ball Edge here. The instructors were really engaging and used a variety of techniques to get the best out of a group of pretty competitive children. Though we only took advantage of taster sessions soccer and Ninja warriors were also excellent.

Very poor quality of summer camps. My children did it for a day and refused to go the next day and only went reluctantly. They spent more time in free time and games than actual coaching. Would never do again.

My rating is for the Marlboro CenterCourt facility and everyone on this club's excellent staff.
My favorite offering is the weekday Early Birds season plan. Nothing starts the day better than up to 2.5 hours of tennis first in the morning! If any energy left in you you can finish with a workout in the gym upstairs with some excellent equipment for weights and aerobic training.
