Connections Gymnastics school has been my daughters 2nd home since she was 4 years old.
9 years later and I can still say the same. Connections has been a welcoming environment from the day we stepped through the door. Lori the owner is always there to answer any questions that we have. She is easy talk to and always welcomes any questions. Bev who is the glue of connections Is just as knowledgeable and just as welcoming. This is an inclusive school that welcomes all children.

The coaches and instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. She has developed tremendously through her years there. I cannot say enough good things about the coaches and Instructors. The progress she has made is unbelievable!

Throughout our years here we have met many families. We have met many parents and my daughter has met friends that she will be friends with for a lifetime.

If I could give connections a 10 star review I would. This is the place to send your child if you would like a fun and safe environment that helps them develop in all aspects!!

If i could give ZERO STARS I WOULD. I decided to try this gymnastics facility (being close to my home) and i feel like i made a HUGE MISTAKE. i had set up an appointment a week in advance for 640pm after playing phone tag with the woman about 6 times.

I arrived around 530 to fill out some paperwork and so my daughter could see the other girls practice. She has never done gymnastics before and she has been begging me to go to a class so you can imagine her excitment and nerves. When i arrived i walked up to the front desk where i spoke to a woman behind a small box window. I dont remember her name because she never told me hers or asked me mine. Terrible business etiquette . The woman then told my daughter to take out her earrings and her socks and shoes.

Again let me remind you my daughter has never done gymnastics before. She has taught herself how to do cartwheels and splits but the woman just sent her in with the other girls and expected her to survive without any guidance.

The mothers at this school are definitely clicky and did not utter a word to me. They were like the stepford wives club. Kept to their circle. I felt extremely uncomfortable and out of place. My daughter had also asked me why there werent any other girls on the walls or on the pictures like her. My daughter is mixed and no one in there looked like her . I didnt realize how much that affected her until she got extremely uncomfortable trying to FIT IN with the other girls who clearly have been doing gymnastics for a while.

I feel my daughter should have been assessed to see what she could and could not do which i was told was going to happen. My daughter visibly looked upset so i told her to come from behind the glass and all she kept saying was she wanted to go home.

I did not think this place was professional. I did not think they were diverse. I did not think they were friendly. And we literally were only there for 30 minutes. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING HERE. MY DAUGHTER was so upset. And she was so uncomfortable. Im a mom so i can always adjust but for my daughter to want to leave because she felt uncomfortable and she thought the little girls were laughing at her. Its sad to almost had crushed her dreams. I will be taking her elsewhere for sure and i suggest if you are someone who has a child like mine....do the same.

The woman said she would call me back to reschedule. 3 days later no call back.
