Peeked into the window, and I don't think this place is open. Inside looks in disrepair (see pic). Their website doesn't reference this address at all. And the site smells like a chemical dump, which the next door construction zone actually is.

Intelligent, aware coaches who are proactive in their support and corrections. A welcoming community of athletes and coaches. Challenging ever-changing programming where there is always another level to go for no matter where you start. A perfect mix.

Great team, great teachers, and mentors. I love the atmosphere and they work with you on any level. three months ago I came in out of shape from lack of exercise for 2 years and now I feel new, young, and energetic.

I have been a Crossfit Giant member for over 3 months, after actively been conditioning at a Gym and getting small results. At first, I was intimidated to try Crossfit due to their varied training approach and physical demand to enhance competency. Fortunately, the staff quickly provided knowledge and comfort before my first class arrival (kudos!). Their boxes and their staff are without a doubt above expectations. Outstanding trainers/coaches who inspire you to β€œgo for gold” and push yourself while truly caring about your wellbeing, safety and knowledge.

You can do Crossfit at any box, but is the community (members/coaches) what makes the box a BOX. The community at Crossfit Giant is amazing as they are friendly, encouraging and supporting which inspires you to achieve more.

Don’t take my word for it, try the free class and see it yourself. It doesn’t matter what is your physical conditioning level, the trainers/coaches will guide you every step of the way.

I took a chance to try something different and I stumbled upon one of the most amazing experiences in my adult life.

The box is amazing, the trainers are outstanding and the souls that I've had a chance to meet and engage with are remarkable!

It's more than exercise or just counting calories, it's about showing up and doing the best you can with support from people that are there to do the same.

Tarzan and the coaches at CrossFit Giant truly care and that makes all the difference!

Crossfit Giant is a great and fantastic place to workout! I've been doing crossfit for three years and one of the best things about here are the community members. Since joining, everyone has been very friendly, encouraging, and supportive of the goals especially during the WOD. I've reached new personal records in my weight lifting and gymnastic ability thanks to the excellent and knowledgable coaching staff. Coaches and members are what make this a great place to join or even to stop by if you're on vacation. I definitely recommend everyone to become a member of Team Giant!

Very welcoming trainers. However Edgewater box was a bit small. Though I highly recommend to use this for the beginning of your crossfit.

Love this place! The coaches are very supportive and knowledgeable and the community is amazing. It's been the only workout program I've been able to stick to for over a year and I'm in the best shape of my life with strength gains I did not imagine was possible for being a little asian girl. I commute from Hoboken and besides the convenience of driving past this gym to and from work, the parking lot has ample spaces which was one of the biggest selling points for me (this is the main reason I did not consider joining a CrossFit gym in Hoboken). I will be moving out of the area relatively soon, and I wish I could take CFG with me.

CrossFit Giant has been such a positive impact on our lives. My wife and I joined in May 2014. It was easy to progress from the very beginning due to the welcoming and encouraging community created by the staff. I was worried that my wife would be intimidated by the weight lifting, but half the coaching staff are women and there is a big diversity amongst the members in sex and age, so she always has a lifting partner. This is our first exposure to CrossFit and with this sport it seems that everything hinges on the quality of the coaching. I am amazed at the depth and skill of the coaching staff at this gym. They cover a wide range of expertise and styles: Olympic lifting, gymnastics, mobility, as well as the traditional crossfit movements.

I have been particularly happy with the workout programming. I can tell that week after week a lot of thought and care goes into workout selection. We don't just do the usual "named" workouts. The programming allows for progression in many of the standard lifts while also having a good diversity so as to keep from getting bored. The warmup and cool down periods of the classes are some of my favorites, they are tailored to the workout each day. And I LOVE the online method of tracking workouts. I am a fiend for data and it helps to have it all organized.

I go to the Edgewater location which is smaller than the Englewood gym. Personally, I like the smaller size. It makes for an inviting, non-intimidating environment, that helped my wife and I get started.

For me, the results have been amazing. Six months later and I am in the best shape of my life. I'm the lightest I have been in 5 years. I've lost 3 inches off my waist this year, and I am more flexible and stronger than any other time. For the first time since high school, I feel like an athlete again.

The instructors really make this place special -- they make you feel welcome regardless of your fitness level or experience and they're great at explaining and correcting form (which is important for many of the lifts you do), as well as encouraging you on. They also generally do a great job of coming up w programs for the week that are interesting and challenging, while also being varied enough to allow you to recuperate. They go out of their way to give folks opportunities to get together, if you want to, outside of the regular workouts (e.g., competitions, beach trips, hiking, potluck parties, "paleo challenge" group meetings). The group aspect -- exercising with other folks, encouraging and giving tips w each other (also, having other people around also just motivates me to push myself harder than I typically would by myself) -- is great as well. There was another review that suggested people there were "snobby" and "cliquish" -- but I just don't see it. The space is kinda weird with the columns and it'd be nice if there were locker rooms, but everything seems to work out fine, and on balance these things are far outweighed by the benefits.

Ever since day one of going to CFG, I've progressed in mind, body, and soul. I've been working out for over 20 years of my life. I started at CFG over a year and a half ago. As I approach 40, I am the strongest I've ever been. It is all due to the coaching received and the hard work I put in. Feel free to hit me up with questions about the spot. The coaches rock. The box has everything a crossfitter needs. I go to Englewood too. I like mixing it up. Englewood really has everything. Either spot, you can't go wrong. Again, feel free to hit me up with questions. - FG

I crossfit to build strength, endurance, and to push myself beyond my own boundaries. At Crossfit GIANT I am part of an awesome fitness family where I am comfortable to learn, grow, and accomplish goals I never knew I was capable of. The coaches are knowledgeable and friendly and really go the extra mile to help make sure you are doing each movement correctly and safely. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get started with crossfit, especially if you've never done it before!

I started CF with this box. Most coaches (but not all) are extremely knowledgeable and motivating. The facility itself is not ideal for crossfit. It is small and has many columns, breaking up the floor space into chunks. For this reason they also rely on low space exercises like double-unders and pistol squats which really have little return on investment. Plus, it's way overcrowded. In the prime time classes your're fighting for your own space and you bump and run into people. I also found some of the patrons rather snobby and cliquish. Ah, the yuppie Gold Coast. My new box, Elite Core Fitness, is much more down to earth and it has the space and equipment that a real box should have.
