I’m beyond grateful for, Nate!
Over the past couple of years, I’ve lost a total of 179 lbs, and I’m still going strong with another 20 to go. The journey has been anything but easy. Owning a restaurant definitely doesn’t help the long hours, stress, and unpredictable schedule make it so easy to slip back into old habits. Burnout is real. There were moments when I felt like giving up, but Nate never gave up on me.

Nate is everything you could want in a personal trainer—personable, professional, knowledgeable, motivational (especially when I started slacking or giving up) and always finding ways to insert humor. I first worked out with Nate over 10 years ago. I had just finished 6 months of PT from knee surgery and still need help getting my leg strength back. He kicked my butt and legs back into shape immediately, he is AMAZING! I have trained with him over the years and the work outs with Nate have always been the worst but also the best. He is so talented at what he does and is able to tailor workouts to exactly what you are looking to achieve. I sought Nate’s expertise to keep me accountable and on track with my training. As a long time gym goer I wanted to step up my athleticism and switch things up. Nate first trained me post natal after my daughter was born and then prenatal before my son was born. He is trained and very knowledgeable in both areas. I trained with Nate for 6 years and he was by far the best and most effective trainer i have had. I wish I could still train with him, but unfortunately I no longer live in NJ. During the time I was working with him I severely injured my leg in an accident and for a period of time needed a walker. Nate was able to help me recover from my injury and gain back strength and movement in my leg - he was a life saver. Nate can work with any level of experience - from someone who has never been in a gym to a gym rat. If you want someone who is going to take the time to get to know you and your body, and get you results!

I met Nate in November 2006 when he was a trainer at the NYSC in North Hoboken; I began training with him in the spring of 2007 and continued with him until he moved out of the area in 2013. I have had a number of trainers since then and Nate is definitely the best. He changed my body! He can train lifting heavy, doing functional and core work, stretching and if needed, therapeutic/restorative exercises. He is knowledgeable and most importantly, gets to know his clients' bodies and strengths and weaknesses. He keeps everything fresh and is great at pushing you to achieve significant results. If he was still in Hoboken, I would still be training with him!!

After years of putting off getting into better, healthier shape, I decided against joining another regular gym and opted to see a personal trainer instead. Nate’s guidance, patience and attention to me as a whole has made this experience the reason I go back every week. He is concerned about all the aches and pains that can affect a workout and is quick and knowledgeable with alternative exercises to keep me going even on weeks when the creaks and cracks have me struggling. 5 stars truly isn’t enough to properly rate the Deliberate Fitness experience!

I have been training with Nate for a few years at least once a week but usually twice. His library of excercises is incredible. Always changing things up. It’s made me much stronger but more durable. I am an avid mountain biker and skier. Falls happen. No question , working out with Nate has lead to a reduction of injury as well as a better stronger rider and skier which makes it way more fun.
