We visited this facility to enroll our 8-year-old daughter in summer classes. As a complete beginner, she attended a trial class today. Right from the start, things were disappointing. She approached the trainer, but the trainer completely ignored her—something I immediately pointed out, but was reassured it would be handled.

Despite her being new to gymnastics and it being her very first class, the trainer asked her to perform advanced moves like front rolls, back rolls, handstands, and back bridges. Predictably, she ended up with a severe back sprain and had to leave the class midway.

What was even more concerning was the complete lack of care—no one checked on her or even asked what had happened. At this point, I'm trying to get a doctor’s appointment for her, and if that's not possible, I’ll have to take her to the ER.

This has been a terrible experience. If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. My daughter will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before considering this place.

Both my boys have been at the classes and both had parties and attended many of their friends and siblings parties here and they have been nothing short of amazing and fun for all. Great instructors great party attendants and staff.
As a nice change up during the summer I would sign my boys up for a week or 2 of camp and they loved it. Great spot in East Hanover for kids!

Family run business that’s been in town as long as I can remember. I’ve lived in east Hanover my entire life. I have many family members who attended here and loved it, been to lots of little parties for my nieces, and have taken one of my nieces here on a weekly basis to attend her gymnastics class. We have attended diamond gymnastics since my daughter was a baby we started with the mommy and me classes! Miss Jasmine is the besssssssst, I seriously wish she did birthday parties and taught more classes for bigger kids! Miss Elizabeth was very kind and great with the younger ones as well! We did move up to the older class... Where we had Miss. Makayla, after that..we did take a break has my daughter really wanted to try a dance class in town and sports!

I highly recommend having birthday parties there because it's extremely reasonable and the kids all love it no matter what age range. If you pay a little extra you can get a bounce house and a blow up slide totally worth it!

My only critique would be that I wished put the older classes together based upon skill not just age group. Part of the reason we left besides my daughter wanting to try something new was that I felt like she was not prepared enough for the next level, even though she had taken all the younger classes since she was a baby and up. A lot of the lower level (under 5) classes are more like obstacle course and running around, some bouncings some tumbles and a little bit of the basics! The next level class she was in (5-6 year olds, all girls) had a couple girls who knew the basics like my daughter and then the rest of them were all very skilled ( that came from other places or the other diamond in cedar grove). For example: my daughter was never taught to flips on the bar, but was expected to do it like two classes into the session. However, when my daughter was nervous or upset, the teacher did her best to reassure her/help, or offered other options nearby to try which was appreciated!!!

Safety wise, I feel like the place is clean and kept up with maintenance wise! I've heard great things about their summer camp, though we've never experienced it ourselves (but would consider when my daughter is older).

I will say... I've read recent reviews that said people were treated differently or had difficulty because their English was not so good. This is a professional sports facility where they are providing you instructions on how to do movements/physical gymnastics in the safest way...if you can't understand them then maybe it's not an appropriate time for you/or child to take the class.

I have been a customer at Diamond Gymnastics for many years, my 3 kids grew up there and now my 3 grandchildren go here for classes and camps. My son has been taking classes at Diamond since he was 15 months old, he’s now 3.5 and still absolutely loves it!

The classes are fun, engaging, and have helped him grow in confidence, coordination, and strength. His favorite part has definitely been his amazing teacher, Yasmin, who brings so much energy and care to each class. We've been lucky to have her for multiple sessions!

I recently signed my daughter up for the fall session now that she's 15 months and we can’t wait for her to start her own Diamond journey!

When it came time to plan birthday parties, there was no question- we had my son's 2nd and 3rd birthdays at Diamond and both were a huge hit. The staff made everything run so smoothly, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had.

My boys have been attending Diamond Gymnastics since they were old enough to enroll. My oldest son had a really hard time transitioning out of the mommy & me classes to the independent kid classes and the staff went above and beyond to help support him through the session. My youngest LOVES going there. I tried to convince him to try soccer, but he insisted on going back to gymnastics instead. We love our weekly classes and all the birthday parties we attend here. My son has started his summertime gymnastics class today. He's been taking Mrs. Jasmine's class since November. He was getting used to it. Today he was taking his first summertime class, and we were expecting to teacher would be the same but unfortunately it wasn't. First it was okay that's normal teachers may change until now: what we learned is that Mrs. Jasmine didn't want him on her class just because he is not following her instructors and my son is only 31 months old and still on his toddler journey. THE FRONT DESK LADY consistently rude and means. ALSO, one more thing my son is currently speaking other language than English and he is facing with big DISCRIMINATION, I'm going to take this issue to MAYOR. They need to know that there is discrimination issue is going on in their town!

All the parents commented on how clean and quiet the gym was during the party, as well as how happy their kids were and how much fun they had. The front desk staff is consistently rude with parents . Over the past nine months, my daughter has been attending classes, and the instructors keep changing. Each class covers the same steps repeatedly. They didn’t teach new steps to students Additionally, I've noticed a bias from both the instructors and front desk staff based on skin color. The instructors don't even spend five minutes with the kids. I really wasted more than $1200 till now . Hope management will read this message and improve the customer experience.

4-5 year old class this winter was waste of time and money. Monday 5pm session instructor does not teach the kids at all. The class was nothing but a play area. I mentioned it the manager there , she did not do a thing to change but instead said some classes are like play area.. it was such a rude response as if they don’t care …. as there is always a waitlist during enrollment and so they don’t really have to make any effort to care about parents concerns or kids. Few of the parents friends also had similar concern .. so thought of putting up a google review this time. Hopefully this reaches and sheds their pride of being a monopoly here near livingston area.

It's a terrific place to have children's birthday parties! Our group had a gymnastics instructor who had the kids doing many fun things. First of all, I grew up doing gymnastics and visited many gyms over the years of competition. I have NEVER seen one as clean and as well kept as Diamond! The gym is also unusually large, offering a diverse range of equipment to entertain young children. If you haven’t gotten to meet the owners, they are very kind, generous people who have gone out of their way time and time again to help others, and expecting nothing in return. Over the years, I have gotten to meet a few of their coaches and they are very kind, talented, and responsible people who are there to engage your child and give them a great experience. Can’t say enough good things about Diamond!

Facility is huge and clean with adequate staff and equipment. There is separate viewing area for the parents and visitors to watch over their kids practice. I was able to enroll my daughter for the spring session online on a weekly basis(slots filled pretty soon). But unfortunately I had to drop her from the class after the first session and reached out to the management over an email. They were pretty quick to respond and understood my position and helped me with a refund. I would definitely recommend this place for your kids.

I took my kids to a birthday party their along with my friend that has twin boys. Her son got hurt really bad and broke his arm. When the incident happen, none of the workers came over to get the parent. One of the kids at the party got the mom and told her. When we looked over he was sitting on the side with none attending to him. When we got him we immediately saw his arm was broken and the mother took him to the ER. He suffered 2 broken bone and has a cast on. He is 5 yrs old. Based on what I witnessed about the entire incident, I would never recommend this place especially for young children. Then when the mom called the girl on the phone told her things happen. So to add insult to injury. SMH. Horrible experience.

We attended our very first birthday party at Diamond Gymnastics this week. The children had a wonderful time and the person assigned to the party was very enthusiastic. Everything seemed pretty well organized since the gym is large enough to accomodate multiple groups. As a parent, I did not love the area set aside for the food. All parties were held in one large area and would love to have seen individual party rooms. The kids didn't seem to mind and after all, this is a kids' party.
