My daughter joined East Jersey Elite two seasons ago at just 7 years old, and now at 9, she’s not only a more skilled and confident athlete—she’s a part of something truly special. From the very beginning, EJE has been more than just a cheer gym. It’s a place where passion, discipline, and joy come together under the guidance of some of the most dedicated coaches I’ve ever encountered.

Watching my daughter grow over these past two seasons has been nothing short of remarkable. She’s developed in every way imaginable—athletically, emotionally, and socially. This is my daughter 1st season at East Jersey Elite. I was a bit afraid of changing gyms. I must say, this has been the best decision I have made for my daughter. 10/10 recommend! I cheered at this establishment from ages 11-15 myself. I enjoyed every minute of my time here so when looking for a gym for my own daughter it was a no brainer to go to EJE! We moved here from over 1,000 miles away, and she was adjusting to a completely new environment. From the very first day we walked through the gym doors, East Jersey Elite welcomed her with open arms, and they’ve supported her unconditionally ever since.

Over the past year and a half, we’ve watched her grow in ways we couldn’t have imagined—both in happiness, confidence, and skill. Her love for the sport has reached a whole new level, and if she could spend all her free time in the gym, she absolutely would! The coaches here have a special way of pouring into each and every athlete, and it truly shows in their performances, their passion, and the dedication that radiates throughout the entire program. I, too, have found such a wonderful community with the parents!

What can I say, the smile on my daughter's face says it all. I do need to add that there's a coach there by the name of Kamil who has taken my older daughter under his wing and transformed her into part of the person she is today. He molds these girls into good humans while loving them in the interim. Coming from a standoffish teenager speaks volumes! And my 10 year old now frequents the gym every single night wanting to see the friends she's made here and to work on her skills. Update-
My mother and my sister went to this establishment and no one was at the desk to complete the “protocol” checking of who enters the building. On Thursday 9/19/2024 they walked in the building with no stopping once ever. However, when I went to the building I was stopped as if I was a threat. The guy told me it was protocol to check if I was on the list. Yet, no one was there to check the door that day. What happened to the protocol? I do not want to speak to anyone because this shouldn't have happened. Having dreads, dark skin, and tattoos does not make me a threat. I will never be quiet about this.

They approached my mother and told her that my sister can no longer do gymnastics there because their employee profiled and discriminated me. The owner told my mother I was the aggressor. After talking to me nasty the guy said, “well you don’t have to have an attitude”. You can’t treat someone and talk to anyone hostile and then check them like they did something wrong. If you are black with dreads and you stand up for yourself, do not bring your kids here. I hope you guys send my mother her $130 as urgently as you kicked my sister out. God Bless!

This is our second season with East Jersey Elite. We switched gyms after 7 yrs for my daughter to grow and go further with her cheerleading. I decided to wait until my daughter completed a full season before writing this review. I honestly can't say enough good about East Jersey Elite. They're truly a home away from home. Everyone is so kind and respectful. The gym owner and her entire staff are nothing but amazing people who truly have the kids best interest at heart. They're a prime example of how all cheer gyms should be. I know for most it may be a little out of the way, my advice is take the plunge and give it a shot, it's worth it!!! Car pools are available. An amazing gym for cheerleaders from 4 and up. Their gymnastics instructor is a world champion and is just an overall amazing teacher.
