No reinvestment into the business. Corporate sucks all the profit out. Treadmills are dangerous, 20 yrs old and belts are loose. They will buckle if you run more than 5mph. They are so cheap they only have (1) set of D handles. The sauna trips out every 30 min, lucky if it’s 120 degrees.

Dump! They don’t care about the facility or customers… JUST PROFITS.

Out of all the gyms in the area (Woodbury, Deptford etc..) this one has the most amenities. I can’t beat the value provided in my membership elsewhere due to that reason specifically. I also see cleaners and maintenance working almost everyday, they definitely stay on top of things. I highly recommend

At this location I can say that the employees are very friendly and are always cleaning and putting everything in its place. But in the gym the machines are old. The worst cardio machines I have ever seen in my life. I'm reconsidering changing gyms because if I continue there my knees will get ruined quickly.

First time at this location. After 20 minutes, I left. Zumba instructor still hadn’t arrived, even though front desk associate said that she would. I have no idea when she finally did show up, or if she did at all. Why show up a half an hour late to an hour class? Terrible.

Without exaggerating, about 2/3 of the cardio equipment doesn't work. Whether they shake and wobble to the point of being unsafe, the electronics are unresponsive or turn off mid-workout, or they just don't even power on; most of the treadmills and elliptical machines don't work. Also, they're all rusty and in pretty poor condition overall. Half of the TVs on the cardio deck also don't work. It's really frustrating considering how long I've been a member and how much money I've spent there in membership fees.

I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone who is just looking for weights and cardio. Go elsewhere and you'll probably spend less anyway.

At least the pool has managed to stay open.

Gym is in poor condition. Most of the equipment is no longer working and out dated. The restrooms are extremely dirty, most of the materials are missing, and culture of the gym is shifting in a rather negative way. The most qualified of the trainers have been abruptly "replaced" without any explanation and memberships aren't being refunded or easily cancelled. There is no women staff to consult with which I also find odd. About two weeks ago a circulation of videos on social media of grown men in their 40's tussling were on making it extremely uncomfortable for consumers who utilize the gym. Overall a underwhelming gym.

I have been a member here since they opened. This place is poorly managed and very dirty!! I have been into bodybuilding for over 30 years and this place is the worse I’ve ever been. I have trained in the worse parts of Philly, with no air conditioning and this place is worse!

1. Soap dispensers only work on one or two sinks.
2. Paper towels are limited and when you complain about it, they have no answers.
3. The equipment is antiquated! The treadmills skip and the machines are filthy.
4. The bathroom (Men) is always dirty and unkept.
I try to go over the bridge to LA Fitness in Brookhaven, because that facility is great! Glassboro is fantastic and Cherry hill is not bad either. I would recommend not joining this place in Woodbury. I only attend for convenience and that seems to be the consensus with others I speak to. Most of us are members of other facilities.

I would give zero stars if I could. This place is absolutely filthy. The equipment is old, outdated, most of it doesn't work, and did I mention DIRTY! There was a piece of gum/candy in the cupholder today. They lack a variety of weights or multiple of same size weights.....more than one person at a time will need a 10 pound weight and I shouldn't have to look all over the gym to find it. Did I mention absolutely filthy and dirty?! Cardio equipment in poor poor condition. Never again. It wasn't worth the cheaper price or shorter drive for convenience. I will happily be paying more and driving further just for cleanliness and actual functioning equipment.

I have been going here since it opened. Unfortunately, the equipment, especially the cardio has not been upgraded or maintained. So many machines "out of service" for months at a time. I have reached out to complain but the company doesn't even care enough to respond. You have to hunt for a treadmill that works. The hand sanitizer has been out of batteries for months. Even the trash along the outside of the building stays there for months before someone actually cleans it up. I like the people there. It is a real shame that the facilities are not maintained especially with so many other options out there.

Very poorly run and maintained. They are very clearly trying to run it all into the ground, which I think is unacceptable to pay $25 a month for.
I feel like I am wasting my money here month after month seeing no improvements in the club, and I shouldn’t have to drive farther to find a better location. Esporta should have better quality control of their locations if they care about their brand. Honestly at this point I’m heavily debating canceling and going elsewhere, at least even Planet Fitness keeps a cleaner club with more updated equipment. I recommend you avoid Woodbury Esporta

PROS:
- sauna
- open area spaces to use
- can bring guests with higher memberships
- some of the staff is friendly enough to greet you
- some duplicates of machines and weights

CONS:
- cardio equipment very old/outdated, rusty, broken spots, clearly running it into the ground
- maintenance signs on equipment for weeks to months on end without changes
- turf area constantly taken over by personal training, uses up most space and equipment and then often left laying around
- some guys come in regularly with GIANT speakers and blast music that even my noise canceling headphones can’t block out, management does nothing to stop it
- most of staff (including manager) just sits at front desk talking instead of going around to clean or even enforce cleaning/putting away equipment
- not a clean or well maintained facility
- limited weekend hours since only open 8a-7p

I'm so glad I joined this gym. The personal trainers are ALL extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The gym is clean and no one bothers you. I have yet to try the pool or any of the classes, but my friends who go to Esporta enjoy them. I'm a woman in her 30s, somewhat out of shape, trying her best to stay strong and healthy (but hey, sometimes you fall off for a week or two), and all the staff has been very accepting. I either do the treadmill, beat up the heavybags, or do training sessions. The pricing is good, too; and they don't lock you into a contract like some other gyms that require your first born just to cancel membership. Highly recommend to all people and fitness levels!

I had to stay overnight at the truck stop, so I decided to see if there were any gyms nearby. I saw that E Sporta fitness was only 4 miles away so I took a short Uber ride to get a workout in . This place was formerly known as LA Fitness but was rebranded as E Sporta. Since they are still owned by LA fitness, I was able to use my membership and did not have to pay for a day pass. Very nice gym. They have all of the equipment you need to get a great workout in. There is also a really cool area with what looks like field turf( like a football field) to do CrossFit , grass drills etc. highly recommended. Will be back if I’m ever in the area.

I cancelled my membership before the pandemic hit, I was not using the gym facilities for months due to my relocation and illness. They just charged my account for September. LA Fitness in Woodbury is fantastic! Great facility: roomy, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, and elaborate. LAF provides everything you need, and more. The facility is smartly arranged in a warm and modern atmosphere. I’m visiting from CO for a month, and Sales Manager Christopher fixed me up with a generous guest pass for the entire duration. He was friendly, accommodating and professional. As was Dan, the Opns Mgr. If I lived in the area this would be my gym of choice, no question! A wonderful, unexpected experience!

It takes a lot for me to leave a review, a negative one at that. Been a member here for the better half of 7 years. And in that time frame, the management periodically will decide to skimp the weekend hours year by year. What’s even worse is the google my business page isn’t updated on time to notify these changes.Did my monthly payment amortize and decrease to reflect sick changes? Of course not. I don’t care about that. I had to work today, a Saturday, raced to the gym, and I’m greeted to a desk associate locking the door on me and replying “ idk” when I asked her about the other locations Saturday hours. So here I am, now paying to get into another local gym, with preworkout RACING through my skull in disgust.
