It's like a romp-around for $200 a month. Went here for 3 years, only for him to kick my son out because of something myself and Dusty Everson disagreed about. Never talked about it or tried to come up with a resolution. Text me on Monday saying he called multiple times, couldn't reach me and was just telling me my son's program was "cancelled" (which I did not have ONE phone call from him or anyone besides my father that day!). Leadership is NOT "exclusive" as he claims. It became a bit joke after a while. He did us a FAVOR! Please don't be scammed by this "Karate Instructor"!

Everson Karate is amazing because it teaches children to work hard and have fun without immediately receiving something in return for their efforts. The perseverance, love and joy of learning is reflected in the children taking the classes.

We came to karate in search of an activity to help our son build esteem, confidence, respect, discipline and active listening. I can honestly say that this is hands down the best thing I have done for my son. He is more confident, happier and doing better in school.

We like how the instructors tie together martial arts with character development and strong morals for daily life.

Jack started at Everson’s in the tiny tiger program when he was 4. Instantly, he began to learn important life boosting skills like confidence, manners, and self-protection. Over time, he joined the leadership program and learned about the importance of becoming a leader and gaining self confidence. Our 5 year old has been loving attending classes at Everson Karate. Unlike other classes she asks to go every time, we do t have to convince her. There are 4 classes a week with various timings; can attend all 4 or skip the ones that doesn’t work out in the schedule. This is very helpful.

The kids get overall learnings beyond just Karate. Word of the month, various self improvement targets, etc. with badges and medals that motivate them.

Beyond all this, the whole institute, the kids and parents are like one big family. Christmas, Halloween celebrations are awesome. Master Everson and everyone there are always very nice with 1-1 conversations and discussions about various things.

Our two kids have been training at Everson's for years. The older one started when she was 7 and she is still there at age 16. The younger one started at age 6 and she is also still with the program 8 years later. Truly a fantastic environment and approach. We have been a part of the Everson’s karate family for a little over a year now. The difference in my son from the beginning of joining to now, has been such a drastic change! We as parents really like the schedules, Leadership classes for kids, every month instructors pick up one topic and discusses with kids, make them write their thoughts for the questions, how to handle strangers, bullying and so many other activities which are really great for young children to develop strong base during their growing up years. Our 4-year-old son loves it here. He asks us everyday if he's going to Karate. The senseis are patient with the little ones, understanding that they don't have the capacity for attention and discipline like the older kids, yet they still instruct them in an effective way. My son has been a "Tiny Tiger" for the past year now, and has really enjoyed his experience. No doubt that the structure and exercise has helped him. While we have nothing but good things to say about his program, I think that the true reflection of this program is best observed through the young men and women who are part of the Leadership Program who serve as instructors for the younger students. Saying Good quality doesn’t even come close to saying how just how FANTASTIC Everson’s Karate is. They are very professional, but also very family oriented with well trained instructors. I love how encouraging they are to the students regardless of their skill level. I have 3 kids that go there - all very different skill sets and they have all thrived in their own way. One was very thin skinned and completely found her grove on the dojo. One has ADHD and autism and it’s been wonderful therapy for him and the 3rd it has definitely helped control her impulse control. As you all are aware, when Joseph started the karate program at your institute, he was very shy, and held tight to mom and didn't want to participate. Not even a year later, he has shown so much improvement and confidence! He cannot wait to go to karate and see his friends and show us his skills even at home. He speaks when spoken to when out to dinner with us now and utilizes his SEVEN MAGIC WORDS all the time! When he is on the mat I can hear him yell "YES SIR!" with a confidence I never thought he would have. Every day, I see a new transformation with him. The goal setting and overall dynamic of the program has helped him to exceed so quickly. As an only child at home, I knew these things would be an issue. Before your school, we tried t-ball, ice hockey, ice hockey with private lessons and soccer with Joseph. As much as we pushed him to complete each program, you could see he struggled with his shyness to get started. There are no words I can ever write to explain what your instructors and your school has done for my child. I only know that I feel more continuity with how he is raised at home and the environment he is in at karate. This program is like no other!

My son started in February and never misses a class. He looks forward to class every. His confidence has grown and he is more disciplined at home. The class schedule is flexible which is helpful since my son plays other sports. The staff is amazing!!! Fantastic! Wonderful! Extremely Well Done! These are just a few of the accolades we want to say about the Birthday Party we had at Everson’s Karate Institute for our 8 year old grandson. They provided the invitations, goody bags, coordinated the entire event including the passing out of the food, drinks and cleanup. Also included was board breaking for our birthday boy which he completely loved!

While our package was the basic birthday party, they additional have a nerf gun karate party, board breaking party where all guests break boards, a padded nunchaku karate party and a bounce house party.

Overall the were extremely accommodating, had helpers for the entire event and kept us informed and on schedule which led to the most enjoyable and happy birthday for a grandson.

We fully and completely recommend the family run and operated Everson’s Karate for your next event as well as any of their classes.

My father, brothers, and I started karate back in the ‘90s. Everson’s Karate held a strong impressionable reputation. I had such a positive experience as a child, that I signed up my four children. They are thriving! The environment is community-oriented, safe, and respectful. Master Everson has zero tolerance for bullying and the use of karate outside of the dojo. The sessions start with respect, by bowing when entering and exiting the dojo. You address the instructors with titles. The program builds confidence, strength, and self-control. I now get the privilege of observing my four children blossom into tiny confident individuals. They know right from wrong. They look forward to the classes, friends, and of course belt testing! I am confident that one day they will look back and reflect on the benefits they received from karate. My family has three generations of karate success! Everson’s Karate has certainly held up it’s valuable reputation! The program offers way more than the skill of learning karate. This program builds character, while strengthening you mentally and physically. My goal as a mother, is to provide my children with the best quality life that I can offer. Master Everson hosted a wonderful socially distanced class for my daughter and her friends. Even though many of these girls had never tried karate before, they loved every second and they all had a great time. In a time when we're all too sedentary at home, Master Everson will get your child moving and loving every second of it. His classes build skills and confidence. We are so happy with Everson’s. Everyone is very supportive; adults and kids. My son spent too much time playing video games and mostly by himself. He started kickboxing and he loved it. I started kickboxing and I wish I didn’t need to work and go every day. My boy is now doing Karate and he’s so proud of his accomplishments. He is going at his own pace making progress every time he goes to his classes. I love hearing the pledge of Allegiance before each class. Why don’t they do it in schools anymore?.. Everson’s Karate Institute has a wonderful family friendly environment. After searching for a long time To find the perfect place for our children to attend, we immediately fell in love with Everson’s from the first meeting with Master Everson. Three of our kids attend and enjoy their experiences and wish they could attend seven days a week! We can see our kids learning so much, and not just karate. Discipline, manners, and respect are very important in addition to learning karate. The children are learning aspects of life that are not taught in schools as they should be which are essential for their futures. The staff and other children are respectful and friendly. The entire experience has been positive. We hope to continue this experience as long as our children are allowed to remain within the programs with respect to their completion of the programs.

Both of my boys studied under Master Everson. They started at 7 years old and continued through high school. Achieving a Black Belt 1sr dan and a Black Belt 3rd dan. Training at Eversons instilled both self confidence as well as discipline that they carry with them to this day. They are both wrapping up college and getting ready to enter the world as men. Eversons karate played a big part in them becoming the men that they are today. I cannot give a higher recommendation!

We love eversons karate !!!
I am not a workout kind of person but when I took a kickboxing class I was hooked (no pun intended😂) my boys love all of the classes they offer from karate to sparring, grappling and the new kids kickboxing program. Have definitely seen my 10 year old have more discipline and my 7 year old gain more confidence in the 2 1/2 years we have been going there
I have never seen a business care more about their students and do so much for the community like Everson !!!

Googled their hours and they stated they where open from 8-12 and 2-9. I drove out there around 10:45 to check the place out as a possibility for having my daughter birthday party and they closed. Very upsetting when you have a fussy 10 month old.
