Highly recommend the class for people who want to try martial arts.
I was panning to take my daughter to take martial art nearby my house, but accidentally booked Master.Yoon’s taekwondo place trail. My daughter decided to take class here instead after the trail since she really like Master.Yoon. She even asked me if she can take two times a week instead of one.
As I am the only one person who watch my daughter’s class every time , I see Master.Yoon is very on time person and managed different level belts’ kids so well. I like the way that he is teaching “demonstrate the moves, than ask kids to keep practicing” (simple but efficient)
Even thought the class only have 40 minutes, kids are sweating a lot and the most important thing is having fun. My daughter’s best friend went the tail class and decided to take two times a week class as well, because she told my daughter is likes Master.Yoon. It’s all about his personal charisma.
And after half a year watching my daughter class, I also decided to take adult class here.
I hope my reviewing is helpful for people who are considering take class here.

We’ve been at Fair Lawn Taekwondo for almost a year now. My son Jack is a very high spirited 5yo. Fair Lawn Taekwondo has helped him tremendously with listening, and paying attention at home, and in school! Andrea the manager is the absolute sweetest. She always answers any questions with a smile on her face, and is just so nice to talk to in general. Master Yoon is the absolute best! He’s fantastic with all the kids. He’s loving, kind, and patient yet firm with all the kids. He’s literally the perfect combination! We couldn’t be happier here! I can’t wait to watch Jack grow more and more thru the years! My husband and I had been looking for a disciplined activity for our 6 year old daughter Emma. We came upon Fair Lawn Taekwondo
and was immediately drawn in with Andrea Williams’ (FL Taekwondo Manager) welcoming and collaborative attitude. Emma has been excitedly taking 2 classes a week for 3 months with Master Yoon. We can already see such a drastically positive change. Not only has she shown progress with her physical demeanor but also in her social and emotional behavior. The best part is that our daughter really enjoys it and is so proud of herself. She is self motivated to prepare for class and is eager to return for the next lesson.

I agree with all of the other outstanding reviews here - Fair Lawn Taekwondo is awesome. My boys have been taking classes here since 2015 and they really enjoy going. The owner and instructor Master Yoon makes this place fun and enjoyable for the kids. He's respectable, approachable, extremely patient and overall wonderful with the kids.
The office manager Andrea is very pleasant and accommodating, - we adore her!

I strongly recommend Fair Lawn Taekwondo.

Kayden my oldest son has been attending here with Master Yoon since 2018 and he is now on his way to earning his black belt ! He recently started sparring and so excited for every belt that he has earned !! I see the drive ; his energy and most of all his joy in this sport !! He has made many friends here and truly respect Master Yoon !!! This sport has taught him respect confidence and most of all determination!!! My son attended FLT for 2 years. Master Yun is very dedicated, experienced, firm and very kind to his students! My son is very disciplined and focused because of Master Yun’s amazing job. He also is much confident now. My son started with Fair Lawn Taekwondo when he was 4 years old and Master Yoon helped him warm up to the class and come out of his shell. FL taekwondo is an incredible facility that truly focuses on youth development. They practice what they preach. Master Yoon has incredible composure and is beloved by all his students. My son has been attending Fair Lawn Tae Kwon Do for about six months now. I've seen his confidence go up, but it's not because everything is easy for him. Master Yoon continually challenges him, and despite moments of frustration or disappointment, he's been able to persevere in the supportive environment. What a wonderful place for kids to learn tae kwon do! We love it there, the staff is so kind and sweet, they’re very attentive to the kids! The training is serious but there’s also a little room for kids to be silly and goofy sometimes, which is a perfect balance! My 5yo has been getting so much better we’ve noticed his progress within weeks. I also love that kids of different levels are in the same class, it gives the beginners role models while the more advanced kids are always super kind and helpful to the little ones.

We absolutely love Fair Lawn Tae Kwon Do! My son has been going for almost a year and this is one consistent activity we never miss!
