If you’re thinking of joining this facility, read carefully:
1. This is more of a personal training facility than a traditional gym. If you’re planning to work out on your own and a personal trainer is present, be aware that they may take up most of the space with their client.
2. The facility does not have a water fountain, so if you run out of water, you’ll need to purchase a bottle from them.
3. To use the restroom, you have to leave the facility and access a shared bathroom located outside, used by other offices. You must take your phone with you to buzz yourself back in — which feels completely unsanitary.

These issues might seem manageable to some, but my main concern was the following:

When I signed up, I chose their month-to-month membership option, thinking it was a perfect fit for my summer schedule. I only used the facility a few times in May and decided not to renew after that month. However, I was later charged for both June and July.

When I contacted management, they pointed to a clause in the signed waiver that requires a 30-day notice to cancel. They explained that if I only wanted to use the gym for May, I should have given notice on the same day I joined — which is completely unreasonable.

They advertise their membership as “month-to-month,” yet there’s a small line in the waiver requiring 30 days’ notice before cancellation. I find this incredibly misleading.

It’s disappointing to see smaller, independent gyms adopting the same tactics as large chain gyms.

Fit Cranford is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a private, no-nonsense gym experience. The space is clean, well-equipped, and never overcrowded, making workouts super efficient and enjoyable. It’s one of the best gyms I’ve been to with no distractions, just results.

So glad we found this gym! Super clean, new and varied equipment, great hours, delicious meal preps, and an entire staff of wonderfully motivating, respectful, happy people who make you feel comfortable and meet you where you are in your fitness journey. Ashlee has been 1:1 personal training with my son for almost 1 year and she has made exercise enjoyable and rewarding for him that absolutely is giving him fitness skills he will use for life! She is patient, positive and understands his needs. 5⭐️ for sure!

I am soo glad I found Fit Cranford! Ashlee made me feel welcomed & comfortable from the 1st time I came in. She couldn’t be nicer, is very fair, accommodating, professional, knowledgeable & motivating! She has been training me for almost a year and with her help I am reaching my goals in losing weight & toning up! I have also recently started working with Lance, he is high energy and together they are the push that I need. They are very personable & easy to talk to. They also get more excited than I do when I reach the next level in weight or reps! They are happy to work with you even when it’s not your best day. I also see happy members who scan in and workout on their own. It is a boutique style gym, never too crowded & is very clean & convenient. Hidden gem! Just what I needed.

Excellent and clean facility. Ashlee and Will are amazing! They have great equipment and I enjoy the option to swipe in during business hours at any time. The business hours are lengthy enough for an early morning session and a super late night session which is very much appreciated. This isn’t your average commercial gym. This gym was built with love and your wellness in mind!

I hardly ever write reviews but this felt needed! This gym truly feels like Cranford’s best kept secret!! I find large and crowded gyms so stressful, and this place is the complete opposite. There are so many benefits of a semi private gym, like never having to wait to use equipment, feeling like you have enough space to spread out and do your thing, and you can simply just relax and enjoy your workout more! Plus the owners here are ridiculously kind and helpful, and the facility is super clean and organized. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough!
