Best place on earth. Don't make the mistake of thinking the classic "Pumping Iron" aesthetic means it's only for veteran lifters. Fitness City is for anyone who wants to get fitter, bigger, and stronger. Gary, the owner, and all his regulars are true gems of people.

One of the coolest places I have been to in a long time. A great gym with an almost even greater owner. He lives and breathes the sport and is super likeable. Very well equipped. Not much space but packed with great oldschool Equipment and a great yard where one can lift outside! I would not hesitate a second and sign up if I lived in the area!

Great old school gym, not crowded, everyone knows each other. Discourage posers with earplugs. If you want to build muscle this is the place. If you want to listen to your music and walk on treadmill, your better off somewhere else. Has outdoor facility to lift in open air. Mostly free weights some machines. Can watch videos of gym at animal products web site. Multiple bodybuilders lifted and filmed here

This is a family type gym. Everyone is helpful and friendly too. So stop by to New Jersey's 1st. outside gym , " The Yard ". Come by and meet Gary ,owner of Fitness City. You will be greeted by " The Hulk ", standing tall outside the gym. Bring your cameras kids all love The Hulk.
