I’ve been a member of this gym for a couple of years since moving to the neighborhood, and one of the main reasons is Heather’s Zumba classes. They are truly some of the best high-energy, fun cardio workouts one can ask for!
I’ve also been training 1:1 with Heather for the past few months, and it has been an excellent experience. She really understands my goals and tailors each session to be just a bit more challenging than the last, helping me build both confidence and physical strength.

I absolutely love this gym. The staff is incredible; friendly and polite, the equipment is good for whatever stage of fitness development you are at from novice to bodybuilder. Love that it stays open til 11pm Monday thru Thursday, wish it was midnight. Overall, a 10/10 since the first day I’ve begun my fitness journey.

After my 3 day free trial ended, I went in to sign up for a membership. Chris, the general manager, was very helpful and thorough when explaining which plan was best for me. So far my experience at the gym has been great! The facility is very clean and well taken care of. Only complaint is that during peak time, it can often be difficult to get a machine. I want to bring attention to a distressing experience I had at Fitness Factory New Providence. The gym's personal training department engaged in deceitful practices to fraudulently charge me. After looking up Yelp, I discovered that I am not alone in falling victim to their scams. The fact that the gym manager himself acknowledged the financial troubles raises concerns that they might be compensating for losses by such unethical means, taking advantage of members who often don't realize they are being scammed. Them claiming transparency and adherence to contracts is contradictory to what I and other members have faced.

Some who become aware of the scheme cancel their memberships, while a few individuals take the time to warn others on Yelp. It is disheartening to witness such behavior in a place that should prioritize the well-being of its members. Fraudulent practices should never be acceptable, regardless of a business's financial challenges.

(They charged me $1200 in personal training fees which they won't refund)

Every member, as evidenced by the reviews on Yelp, has experienced the exact same scam.

Gym has been the scariest 3 letter word in the English language for nearly 33 years.
Nearly - until these last 3 months.

In January, I made a decision to do things differently.
A few weeks in to membership at Fitness Factory in New Providence, I decided to take a chance on personal training - I'd quickly found that exercising could be fun and delivered a sense of personal accomplishment, so why not level up?

The Fitness Manager, Gio, booked me for an assessment.
We ran through some basic exercises to see where I was at, took my measurements on the InBody scale, then we picked a plan, then he assigned my trainer Andrew within the following 24 hours, put us in contact and booked our first session.

Thank God for Andrew.
He's patient, when necessary, pushes me when warranted, and has not stopped cheering me on through a single session in the last 2 months.
He follows through with encouraging texts when we're not working together, he checks in on days when I'm working out alone, asking me what I'm working on that day, followed by more encouragement.

If you're like me, you probably have thought:

- I can never do this.
- Even if I do, I'd never try personal training.
- Even if I do, it won't last.
- I can't find the money/afford this.
- People will look at me crazy.
- "He's gonna laugh at you; they're all gonna laugh at you."

Turns out...

I can do anything.
I have tried personal training.
I don't see an end in sight.
I've found the money because I'm worth it.
I'm already crazy, so who cares if they're looking?
And they're laughing with me and we're having the time of our lives.

Been going here for a while and pre-COVID it was pretty busy around 5-7pm. Now it does get busy still around that time but not as much. No showers at the moment but changing rooms are open Masks are mandatory although no one is gonna come hunt you down if you go to a corner and take a breather. Staff is very friendly and helpful and props to the cleaning crew for how clean everything is. I even saw them wiping down the door handles during peak hours.

It can get crowded sometimes but the trick is to go there at 4 instead of 5 😅Its a great place to be if you want to do weights because a lot of chain gyms that are cheap don't focus on weights and just have tons of treadmills inside. Good gym with reasonable pricing..steam room (steam room has been down for 4 months) and sauna are a nice feature.
Weight equipment is a little outdated and when I suggested to the gym manager to bring in a new piece of arm equipment, he essentially said they have all the equipment you would ever need to do a workout and if I was suggesting new equipment I wasn't doing my exercises the right way.

Been to a lot of gyms in my days and this gym just lacks certain equipment that I've seen in every other gym I've been a member of.

Would appreciate if the management would listen to their customers rather than automatically assuming their customers aren't working out their muscles correctly.

THE worst advertising gimmick ever! I came out of a store in Blue Star mall & found their ad on my car windshield. But not the usual just mildly annoying ad-on-your-windshield; this was GLUED on so tight that it could not be removed with water & a scraper. I had to buy fingernail polish remover, then soak the blasted thing with remover over & over, repeatedly scraping, too, while the ink stained my hands. If this is how they demonstrate disregard for would-be customers, how do they treat actual customers?
