I am unbelievably disappointed in this gym. My daughter has been dreaming of doing aerial silks for several years. We finally found Flight Aerial and were unbelievably grateful to find a gym that actually taught Aerial classes for kids. My daughter does have ADHD, so she requires a bit of additional assistance, not to mention every other kid in the class clearly had more experience than she did. The teachers were patient and I was grateful. After attending a handful of classes in the last 2 months of 2024, I was approached by Agi at the last class we attended in mid-December. I was told that my daughter really needed 1 on 1 lessons to catch up to where the other kids were. We discussed the price, she gave me her cell number to arrange when the lessons would be and she told me she'd speak with the other teacher Amanda about arranging private lessons. It is now March 11, 2025. I have reached out to Agi SEVERAL times. The first few times I was told she had to discuss scheduling with Amanda and/or another teacher and never got back to me.
Now, she has completely ghosted me and no longer responds to my messages. This has been crushing to my daughters spirit. She is devastated that she hasn't been able to go back. I realize now that what I perceived as a kindness (arranging private lessons) was actually my daughter being discriminated against for her learning differences and abilities and that they simply didn't want to deal with us. I'm disgusted by the lack of professionalism and compassion by this gym. I have put off writing this review for months because I truly wanted my daughter to be able to return.
If your child has any type of learning differences or requires any type of accommodations, do NOT bring them here. Something I thought would be a positive experience for my daughter has caused immense heartbreak.

I do extreme sports I am always looking for creative ways to work out. I do private sessions with Paige every week. Vigorous challenging work out. So much fun
You will push yourself beyond your comfort zone. And that is where growth occurs.

I’ve been taking classes here for almost a year. So nervous when I started, but everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. The instructors, Paige, Christine and Jen are great! Amanda, the owner, has been very responsive with any questions or issues. If you are ready to try it out or push your comfort zone this is a great studio to do that!

VERY old and hard to use website made it nearly impossible to buy classes. Instructor “Max” was rude to me and my sister, this place is not welcoming to beginners at all.

I was polite in expressing a concern about how a personal issue was handled via email and requested a refund for my class pass. Instead of just issuing the refund, the owner felt the need to specifically insert that she is happy with my decision to not return to this studio. I wouldn’t recommend going here, 80% of the class is static stretching and basic workouts fatiguing upper body muscles you are going to be using for the remainder of class.

Attending classes here is the highlight of my week. Been regularly visiting the studio for over a year now. The owner and instructors are super kind, supportive, and all-around amazing people. Highly recommended this place as the start for anyone's aerial journey!

Love this studio — have been going for almost three years. As an Asian person and a queer person I have never felt more welcomed, accepted, or encouraged by a group of people before. Flight is a place for EVERYONE regardless of background.

Absolutely horrible, I booked an appointment with Megan. First if you are a poc do not book this place, absolutely lack diversity and they have their own little group. I can’t believe I paid full price to stretch and not touch a pole one time in a POLE DANCING CLASS. She already had an attitude when I got there and continued to act rudely through the whole session. Wouldn’t recommend.

I love this studio! They have a variety of classes and patient, motivating instructors. The open studio offerings are a great compliment to instruction. I highly recommend to aerialists of any level.

I have been coming to Flight Risk for over a year now. I love everything about the studio, my instructor and the group of women in the classes. I was SO nervous, discouraged personally and embarrassed my first few classes because I had ZERO strength but everyone was so kind and reassuring towards me, that it kept me coming! Over a year later of coming twice a week to Meg’s beginners/advanced classes, I am able to do things I never thought my body was capable of. Again, the group of women and positive encouragement I receive at every class, is something that has boosted my self esteem in general. It’s amazing. The studio is charming and clean and I would recommend. And for any beginners...stick with it! Amazing what our bodies are capable of with practice, time and a little patience ❤️

I used to come to silks classes when they were in Morristown. The move put them just out of reach for me which is sad because I miss the classes, the teachers and the students. But I see how few reviews are listed on their new location and wanted to give my insight. This is a super fun workout combined with practice and play set to your own level. You will end up doing things that you did not think you could do. Great for individuals or groups, but be careful. It’s addicting.

Absolutely amazed by this place. I had never done anything similar before stepping foot in Flight Risk, and the two classes I've taken have been full of welcoming, fun loving people. I'll tell you right now, I have the flexibility of uncooked spaghetti and I haven't properly worked out way longer than I care to admit on the internet, and I was still able to have fun, learn things, and feel amazing about what I was doing. I love the instructor, she keeps the class instructional and upbeat. And I really love that as a complete beginner I was able to walk into this class and not feel judged, get a nice workout, and have goals to improve my skills at the silks. Very grateful I found this place!!
