The BEST athletic gym in North Jersey. Great for high school athletes looking to prep for the college level, retired college athletes, and anyone ready to take their health seriously. Andrew and the Freak Strength team understand the body better than any trainers I’ve ever had. I was a college athlete who fell off - now I’m down 40lb and my hips/ankles/knees are more stable and strong than they’ve ever been. Thanks guys!

Freak Strength is hands down the best gym around. All the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable across crucial areas from strength and conditioning to injury prevention and recovery. I’ve been attending the adult classes for about a year now, and I absolutely love it. Andrew is fantastic he leads the classes with structure and energy, and creates an environment that keeps you accountable while still feeling like part of a supportive community.
My son also takes the kids’ class with Andrew, and the progress he’s made has been amazing. His performance on the baseball field has noticeably improved, and more importantly, he looks forward to every class.
I highly recommend Freak Strength to anyone regardless of age or athletic ability. Joining this gym will be one of the best decisions you make.

Freak Strength is an amazing gym! I joined to lose some weight and tone up, but the results have FAR exceeded my expectations. I’ve lost 40 pounds in 4.5 months with 3 workouts a week and a some doable changes to my diet. Mike, Ryan, and Andrew are extremely knowledgeable and set you up for success. Everyone at the gym is friendly and supportive too. I haven’t felt this good in years!

I absolutely love the Bootcamp classes at Freak Strength! Andrew Bird is an incredible instructor who creates the perfect mix of cardio and weight training that keeps every workout fresh and challenging. His music selection is spot-on - nothing gets you pumped like great beats during a tough workout!
What really sets this place apart is Andrew's constant motivation and energy. He's always there pushing you to be your best while keeping the atmosphere fun and supportive. But honestly, the best part is the community - everyone in class is so friendly and encouraging. We're not just working out together, we're genuinely there to support each other through every rep and every sweat session.

One of the most special things about Freak Strength is the community. Everyone in this gym is so encouraging and positive vibes. The trainers really care about you and your goals; they are consistent in following up. They know what they are doing and they do their job well. My boyfriend and I currently work with Andrew and we are very happy with our progress. Our program includes at least 3 days a week of workouts, diet and accountability. They are flexible and offer different times for the workouts. In 3 weeks I lost 6 pounds and my boyfriend lost 14. My progress is slower because I have hypothyroidism which makes it harder for me. We will continue to work with Andrew and Freak Strength even after hitting our goals.

Freakstrengh is an amazing gym! Since I started about 1 year ago I have improved my quality of life tremendously, not only losing 90 pounds while building muscle, Andrew provided me with an easy to follow list of good foods to choose from. I started going to Freak Strength back in October 2024. I met with Andrew and initially signed up for the 6 week challenge. Within those first 6 weeks I was able to get meal plans suited for me and weekly weigh ins to track my progress. I was able to lose 25lbs in no time. Fast forward to today I've been able to keep the weight off as well as extended my membership with them. I enjoy going to the gym now. Their classes make you highly motivated to keep pushing yourself when you need it. Anyone looking for a change I highly recommend Freak Strength!!

Great facility, everyone working toward their goals, supporting each other, and pushing each other. I searched for a gym for my 7th grader and received recommendation for Joe at Freak Strength. He did a great job training my son in age specific exercises and my son started to physically look different within a couple of months.
