Great program for my 6 y/o. She loves coming to class and I see a huge change in her confidence. The facility is very clean. The coaches are incredibly kind and patient.
I started her once a week but she loved it so much so I signed her up for twice a week. Both classes are 6 girls (the most) to one coach. So she gets a lot of attention. I am really happy with the program.

I'm very happy with our first class! The teachers were so helpful and understanding- my 5 year old has anxiety and 4 year old has ADHD and is cognitively delayed. I'm am SO impressed how they kept them focused and engaged. And the teacher student ration was my favorite part. Thank you and I hope we are long time members.

Update- still obsessed. These coaches know their stuff and how to handle children who act like children. My kids love going and we now go two times a week!

Our family absolutely loves Head over Heels! We've been members for two years now, including two summers, and have a consistently positive experience throughout.

Facilities: The East Brunswick location is incredibly spacious and well-equipped. They have a variety of stations that allows them to efficiently run several classes at once.

Classes: We started off in the Mini-Discoverers as Pre-K students then transitioned to the 1st/2nd Grade classes. They're well-run and cover a good amount within a 50-minute period. Each group goes through a warm-up then focus on 2-3 skills per session. They also offer a limited amount of make-up sessions, in case we ended up missing a week or two, which provided us a good flexibility in our schedule.

Coaching: The coaches have been the incomparably best part of our experience. We've had Coach Becca, Hannah, Amanda, and Mickey. All of them are amazing and work so well with the younger kids. They provide direct and succinct feedback to the students and we saw gradual and steady improvement with our child's grasp on the gymnastics basics from week-to-week. We've been able to chat with them about our child's progress and sometimes have been able to adapt some drills to play with at home. I would recommend HOH for the coaching alone.

Overall, 10/10 would personally tecommend based on our time here!

Head Over Heels is my son's favorite activity. He is 2 and we've tried soccer and swimming with no success. But with Coach Hannah he asks daily if he can go "bounce bounce". Coach Hannah is so patient with the children and plans the best circuits. My sons skills have improved so much that he is more confident playing at parks.

Great first experience for our daughter. She did other things before at different places like Dance. Gymnastics was a new thing for her and the staff made her feel very welcomed and comfortable. I recently signed up my 7 year old son for the Ninja class and he absolutely loved it. My son is super active at home, always jumping on the couches and climbing the stairs and even scaling the walls. I was looking for a place for him to express all of his extra energy and Head Over Heels was perfect for him. He had a great time and had fun doing all of the activities. I hope this class grows a love for gymnastics in his future. I’m so happy that my son is happy. The staff and coaches are so great!

I called and emailed multiple times to find a class for my daughter, but no one answered the phone or returned my calls. I got an auto-generated email response, but then heard nothing back after that. When I finally found out from someone else the schedule, the classes were already full. Very disappointed in the unprofessionalism and will definitely be looking for another place to send my daughter.

The staff I encountered was not professional. There seems to be some that looks friendly and professional but haven't interacted with them. Daughter's first day the instructor was very rude, I inquired about the teachers training style from front desk but kept daughter in class to fill the place out. Second class I was confronted by teacher saying that she heard about my inquiry and began to yell and argue with me about how she has the right to teach the way she does. She stated she didn't care how I felt and that I could change my daughter's class. I was made aware from front desk that some kids like her class and cry to be in it or other cry to get out of her class because she is harsh; but that she was the best.

We love this gymnastics gym. I've been a customer for about 10yrs (with some time off in the middle). Their pre-school program is amazing. Clean and vibrant facilities. As a former gymnast I love watching my kids have fun with the sport.

The staff at Head over Heels are great. Lauren and Melinda are working with my son who has a learning disability. They are very patient, attentive and caring. My son is making friends in his classes and enjoys both of classes. I would highly recommend HoH and will continue to bring my son. He's grown tremendously and loves everyone there.

I am so happy with the tumbling program here! Initially my daughter was very shy & wanted to be in a class with 1 other girl but was requested to try her first class with a group, she felt so comfortable she has remained in that class. They go at each person's own pace & she loves it!

My daughter has been coming for 4 months and we are both extremely pleased. She goes for tumbling class to develop and strengthen skills that she uses when competing with her dance team. The teachers are strong and attentive, the classes are small, the staff is friendly and kind, the tuition is reasonable, the facility is clean and she has made significant progress in a short amount of time. I can't ask for more.

Abusive to children.

My children have been going to Middlesex Gymnastics Academy for a while but a few weeks ago when my wife picked up the kids something was different, my daughter and my son were extremely upset and Blair the coach that usually speaks to my wife about my daughter’s performance seemed very distant. My wife noticed the change and asked my kids what happened but they refused to answer, they were crying and just wanted to leave so when the kids arrived home my wife got them to speak about what happened and they said that my son was being rude to the coach Blair so Blair yelled at them to the point that he really scared them and then the worst part was that when my daughter told the coach Blair that she was going to tell her mother about what happened Blair threatened her by telling my daughter that if she tells her mother he will not teach her how to do a back Handspring or let her join the cheerleading team which he coaches. I spoke with the owner and he told me that “Blair has been reprimanded in the past for verbally abusing the kids and for threatening them and that he will have a serious talk with Blair again”. I was very surprised to hear that this has happened before and that this coach still has a job or that he is allowed anywhere near children. Obviously my kids will not attend this gymnastic facility again and I don’t recommend you send your kids there either.
