I wanted to take some time so I did not write a review full of emotion. I thought this was going to be resolved, unfortunately, it has not been. The process originally was smooth for my 2 children. The registration turned out to be a huge disaster. They messed up on the date of birth for my son, making him 7 in their system instead of 3. He was placed in a class for 5-7 year olds and I had to hear each class how he didn't listen and act like a 5 year old. Well, duh, he just turned 3! My daughter was supposed to be in a Ninja class, but she was placed in a gymnastics class. Which she wound up loving, so we let that go. Then come to find out, her asthma was never listed in her file at the gym. That's a major concern, especially if there was an emergency and we stepped out for a moment. After suggesting my 3 year old went into a mommy and me class for much younger children, they graciously added him into a class for his age group after going back and forth for 2 weeks. The icing on the cake? When I went to the front desk to inquire about leotards, and had a teacher gawk and make comments about my daughter's size. It was only after I had to explain this is the first year she was medically cleared to do any physical activity was said teacher accepting of her size. Unacceptable! Management finally reached out to me when I asked them to. They had the teacher that made the comments call me to apologize, however, she took the "it wasn't me" way and avoided accountability. I was supposed to hear back from management after that phone call, but guess what? That hasn't happened either. Giving 2 stars because Ms. Kim at the front was incredible at attempting to help me and my kids did enjoy their classes. I really wish management and the owners handled this whole mess better, as my children were looking forward to continue attending.

Hi Dawn, while I'm aware Lisa is no longer with the company, she had told me to disregard the registration emails, as everything was "correct" on her end. It was only on week 3 that my son was placed in a correct class. Ms. Kim did go in earlier to rectify his age around the second week, but it took 3 weeks to get him placed correctly. I was informed by staff that Lisa was going in to delete/edit notes, so my daughter's asthma may be there now, but it was not in the system "permanently" until week 3 or whenever Lisa was let go and no longer in the system. Lisa also informed me via phone she did not feel it was necessary to add notes in as she did not want anyone other than staff seeing medical information as a safety concern. I'm well aware on how the conversation went at the gym regarding the leotards, and am not interested in doing the he said/she said. There is no accountability because what took place during that conversation was not only humiliating, it was downright awful, not a misunderstanding in the slightest. I look forward to discussing this with you sometime hopefully in the near future.

Let me just say, Lisa was great with helping me with registration. I had 90% of the tuition and annual fee and don’t want to lose my daughter’s spot. I wouldn’t have the remaining $28 til Friday. So far things have been fantastic!! I love the small class size for the little one, and my big girl is so so excited. Every day this week, they've asked if it's Thursday yet. These are our first gymnastics lessons, and we joined sight unseen, because the class schedules were offered at the same time for our two children. Both my husband and I were amazed by the facility (and a little mesmerized by the big girls in the back!!) So far we are very happy, thank you so much for a great facility and caring instructors!!

My 11-year-old daughter just started gymnastics here on Thursday, and she loves it so far! She really liked her coaches (Alyssa and Christian). She was having so much fun that she didn’t want to go home when her session ended. The facility is nice, spacious, and clean. The reception/waiting area has ample seating with a clear view of the gym area, so you can sit and watch your kid(s) during their session. There are lots of cubbies in the hallway for the kids to store their personal belongings while they train, and they even had a basket available at the front desk with hair ties and bandaids in case anyone needs them. I highly recommend 👍🏽

Head Over Heels is absolutely awesome! My daughter has been with them for some time and her development in gymnastics has improved vastly. The coaches are great with the kids and they are always open to answer any questions you may have. Can’t recommend them enough - especially the ninja program! Both my kids (age 4 and 8) have been doing it for the last 1.5 years and the whole family loves it! Their confidence has grown exponentially, the coaches are encouraging and patient, and they have so much fun (so much so we even signed up for their summer ninja program)!

I have enrolled my daughters for the oast 3 years and they are growing into great dancers with the staff at head over heals, but above all they are enjoying themselves while learning. The owner is attentive to every detail and always available and the recitals are second to none.

Worst customer service ever. A few months ago my daughter was pulled out of a class (4-5yo) because they told me one thing on the phone and when we got there was a different story. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. My daughter still remembers how she was removed from the class by these evils. I even asked them to let my daughter finish the class and then we would never come back again and they didn’t accept. How was I supposed to explain what was going on to a 5yo kid???? Sad because I’m in the area and it was convenient but they lost a customer for life.

04/17/24: RESPONSE TO HEAD OVER HEELS RESPONSE:
Safety measures/protocol for having a 5yo in a class, what is she? a criminal? that's ridiculous!!! I'm sorry, but we didn't do anything wrong. As soon as we got to the gym we went through your main desk, mentioned our conversation with X person over the phone and explained the whole situation to your staff. Despite this, they let my daughter go into the class. I didn't just arrive and just wait for the class to start and do whatever I wanted so please respect me and my daughter, if that was the case how was I supposed to know to which class she was going to?

Additionally, I want to clarify that I never settled any online account.Offering more classes after I left with my daughter crying was too little, too late. Why would I have to call ahead to confirm availability if your staff contacted me and knew we were going to be there X day, it was mentioned on our chat history... I've waited this long to leave a review because I didn't want to be disrespectful or have my comment reported. Thank you.

Overwhelming to walk into for the first time because it is big and a lot of kids and parents. Few staff I spoke with were super helpful. I quickly noted how organized this facility is. Line up and dismissal was quick and fun. My daughter loved her entire experience. She wishes she could return daily. Fantastic to watch all the kids loving their time there. Couldn't leave this place fast enough!! No idea how they have a 4.8 rating. I can only conclude this is NJ and people don't know any better. Very volatile, rude and discourteous front desk staff. It's a low energy and tense vibe the second you walk in the door. "Instructors" and I use that term loosely, are not friendly or professional with the students or parents. No manners with the kids and would never say hello back once spoken to. This place does not care about the kids and adding depth and true training, it's a money pit.

The instructors seem unhappy and indifferent and the entire place has no life! I'd rather lose all the enrollment fees than let my 2 daughters continue. Since Feb 3, I have contacted both the Parlin and Middletown (contacted Middletown bc Parlin NEVER returned my calls) locations to speak to a GM. One person at the Middletown location was helpful, but I received one missed phone call from Management. Since then, left mssgs and tried calling back multiple times. Crickets.

They also tacked on $3 mask charges without any explanation of the process. I asked for a mask for my daughter and front desk said No, it was a courtesy and would not give me one. Just incredulous.

I have enrolled them at another gym and the difference is astounding! Truly! Night and day!!

Think twice and really do your research and trust your gut the first time you walk through the door.

HOH coaches are honestly the best! Their ability to work with each child's skill level and produce noticeable results is outstanding. i am a student there and sergei is my coach. in just one year i learned to do so many different skills. i got injured in a different place and it was bc they didn’t know how to actually help/spot. but even after the injuries, sergei was able to learn what my capacity was and which ways i learned best . next thing you know i’m over here doing 6 backhandsprings on tumble track. The office staff is always on point and they have excellent customer service and knowledge. The gym itself is always clean and ready for the students and parents! I love this gym and would recommend to everyone

The children come out of the gym with smiles and at times don't want to go home. They want to stay to have more fun.😊. They are taught how to properly and safely do a trick so they don't hurt themselves. All the while still having fun.
They have answered any questions or concerns I may have had about any activities the children are performing.
They also have a wonderful dance program BIM, which my niece loves. She has been with the dance program since she was 2. She has been dancing for 15 years. She loves her dance instructors.
They teach proper technique and terminology of dance movements. When the instructors gives directions to the students I am very impressed as each student understands the terminology. They don't ask "What does that mean?
The coaches, dance instructors and office staff are wonderful!!! I would recommend this gym\dance facility to everyone.

The establishment overall is great but one of the instructors called LOU is NOT what he appears to be, I used to think he was funny and nice to kids up until yesterday when he literally YANKED my son off the wall he was trying to climb!! It got me so enraged! I didn't understand why he would do that!! It was they're very first day of lil ninja course this year! On top of grabbing and pulling him so hard from his shirt he kept him in his arms as he was aggressively yelling at him!! What was probably 5 seconds felt like an eternity! As I'm seeing this from outside I'm still not understanding why is he not putting him down! So I started to walk inside to ask him what the problem was and let him know NOT TO EVER GRAB OR PUT HIS HANDS ON MY SON LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!
Now for all of you parents thinking well, you're exaggerating he was probably in danger or going to hurt someone else, so he had to aggressively pull him... NO!!! it was not the case at all!!! He tried to justify his horrific actions by saying my son was pushing the kid that was next to him WHICH IS NOT TRUE AT ALL!! I was looking the whole time, and my poor son had both his hands up while climbing, and was pushing up with his feet, exactly like the other little kid that was next to him, they never even touched each other, they were each just calmly climbing, my son was never given a warning, NOTHING I Never saw that man try with words at least one time before pulling him back with ALL HIS RAGE!!! when I got there my son was in the tears, and SO SCARED I felt he was breathing rapidly and shaking!!! I asked him to come outside until he calmed down, and when I asked him about what happened my LO as well said he's so mad mommy and started crying... I changed them to the morning so they don't have to ever be in that man's class again.. but needless to say, look closely as your kids are doing their class, there's things that can happen in the blink of an eye that need to be addressed.
