Absolutely love this gym. For what you pay, nothing in the area even comes close. Solid selection of free weights, machines, and cardio, plus it’s genuinely 24 hours (a total lifesaver for night owls and early birds). The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and they’re constantly adding new equipment and making improvements. Keeps getting better every time I walk in!

The good:
Good gym equipment

The bad:
Feels like a sauna even during the cooler season. (The AC is not working)
Not a lot of paper dispenser. Only 1 paper dispenser upstairs, 2 downstairs.
Need more cable machines.
Locker room is tiny but it’s clean.
The power racks are a bit messy due to unfinished installation of another rack.
We need some dumbbells upstairs too, doesn’t have to be the heavy.

Amazing gym at an amazing price. Second floor just opened and Brian is putting in work to make this an elite gym. A lot of rare machines that will give you a crazy pump!

This is the perfect gym. All the equipment you need, clean, not too crowded and incredibly friendly staff. They just opened up the second floor which is HUGE. I’d honestly choose this gym regardless of the price because it fits my needs the best, but the value for your money is absurd. I’ve been working out for 20 years and this is as good as it gets.

Disclaimer: I’ve only worked out here once using my visitor trial pass, on a Sunday evening/night.

The workout went very well overall. There were few folks in the gym at the time. The gym has all the machines I need and there was no wait time at all. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the deadlift areas (although I myself don’t deadlift 😂)
I did see a couple of cardio machines that were out of order, but it wasn’t an issue since there were so few of us. Aside from being extremely hot, things were great. For its price and 24/7 open time, this would be a great addition to downtown JC. My only concern is that once the AC is functioning this gym will gain a lot of attractions, and the current 4 squat racks / 2 bench racks would become crowded.

Great gym for the price, better than other options in the neighborhood. Gym is renovating, including the ac. Owner is trying to keep it cool, otherwise has everything you would want. Once upstairs is finished and ac is back, I think it’ll be crowded from everyone flooding in.

I love this gym! They have every machine you could ever need. The machines are also new and work super well. I wanted to leave a review because I keep seeing reviews claiming this gym is not clean but it’s literally spotless every time I go. The bathroom/ showers and locker area are clean & I feel safe taking a shower there (See photos). Ive literally walked in on the cleaning lady scrubbing the ground on her hands and knees!! They also offer free hair & feminine care products in the ladies room! You won’t get that at any basic gym. This is a gym who CARES about their clients. Not to mention, the staff is also super accommodating and friendly. I love talking to one of the managers, Liz, she’s always so insightful and helps me with whatever I need during my workouts. They were having a little trouble with the AC but they have installed fans, humidifiers and a massive AC fan! These bad reviews have to be fake!!!! Best gym ever and they have snacks!!!

The gym is always super clean, well-organized, and has a great atmosphere to work out in. The equipment is well-maintained, and you can tell they really care about keeping everything tidy and welcoming. The staff is always kind and ready to help, especially Liz! She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported. Highly recommend!

I have to agree with the other posts. It was delayed to open, there were no benches until a month or so ago, same with a water fountain - only after constant pestering from members. There are a few machines that are in need of repair and one or two out of order since opening. There have been septic issues and inconsistent cleanliness.

And the heat/humidity! Yes, there are signs about when, supposedly, the air conditioner will be there, but it's hard to believe this timing considering the other delayed timelines. No temporary solutions besides ONE FAN. That's it. Literally one fan.

Other gyms in the area are more expensive but what are comfort, consistency, cleanliness, worth to you? I'll be pausing my membership until things change. If conditions improve I'll give it 5 stars because I want it to succeed but I can't, in good conscience, support a subpar product.

Why shell out for one of the many comfortable and clean gyms downtown when you could marinate in the aroma of other people's sweat here? For the low low price of $70 a month, you too can enjoy a hermetically sealed sauna (this place has no windows) and flyers promising a state-of-the-art air conditioning system... some time in July. Come one, come all to the hottest fitness club in the city!

A good alternative to Base and 1/3 of the price, but no water fountain, doesn’t smell great, no A/C so far, and a handful of machines out of order for service for the last 2+ months. At some point I hope they realize that being super cheap isn’t enough to keep customers when the service is lacking. Can’t imagine I’ll stay here for much longer if things stay the same.

Great gym with good equipment. They offer a first time free day pass for Jersey City residents. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They don’t pester you to get a membership like other gyms do. 💪

Decent variety of machines especially for legs. Also dumbells go up to 150 lb. It's open now but supposed to go full 24/7 starting February
