I was assigned here by Jesus Christ and as his humble servant this is my evaluation.
Pros: Very Caring instructors, intense workout routine, Individualized attention at times with demonstration, you are able to move at your own pace, focused on helping people reach their goals, members and non members are treated very fairly. Free gloves that can be borrowed anytime. Very affordable Groupon deal, good intro classes price. Free stuff given in restroom.Good distraction, nice stress reliever, somewhat pleasurable. No theft occured. They have some sort of honor roll system as well which seems motivating. Interesting activities for members. I loved the bootcamp style of jogging and butt kicks etc. They also have challenges for the month to target different body parts. They are not pushy about trying to get you to join or aggressively trying to sell you what you don't want.
Cons: Vulgar music that glorifies sexual immorality and covered up idolatry disguised as exercise stretches in the form of yoga are satanically influenced, the people there tend to only want to get close to people in the class sessions! , Co-ed locker room that only serves a partial purpose, the parking situation is somewhat awkward. The female outnumber the males by a inappropriate ratio. The available scheduling is challenging as well. Cursed work names that are even hard to look at. The people usually were nice to neutral but most were just mindless zombies that did as they were told and whatever's in style. I sincerely hope that so many of them stop being lost and connect to their creator before they look up and their time is up quicker than a 45 minute kickboxing class!

Ivana was absolutely amazing. Her energy, enthusiasm and attitude were right on point. I am a personal trainer by profession, but this class definitely challenged me! It is a great way to do an intense and effective cardiovascular workout! This also works on your muscular endurance! If you are someone who does not like spending an endless period of time on the treadmill, then, doing this class is a perfect thing for you! It’s fun and it’s effective!!! I joined ILKB a year ago this month and I love it♥️I was finally able to lose weight and stay consistent with my workouts. I had tried regular gyms, other exercise programs and working out at home and was never able to see much results. I started ILKB with the 6 week challenge, lost weight and inches and after that I was hooked. Classes are challenging but the hard work pays off. I've met so many great people, trainers, members, owner. Everyone is so supportive and non-judgmental. I highly recommend it, I look forward to the classes. This place is a gimmicky scam the owner is very greedy ALWAYS pushing hyped up supplements that can be purchased for much less at GNC, they charge for every challenge and make you feel like an outsider if you’re not constantly spending money. She even raises the membership for no reason then offers less! Check out other Kickboxing gyms like CKO they only charge a flat rate and honestly their punching bags & equipment are much better.

Loved this gym until they gave a notice that in two weeks the membership was going from $169 to $225 a month and from unlimited to 3 class cap per week! How can a gym start charging $56 more a month and offer less? There aren’t even any amenities. You can join Equinox or Orangetheory for less and get even more for your money.

Coaches were great and loved the members. Really loved it there. It’s a shame the owners got greedy. I understand memberships going up but that much and to offer even less? Not ready fair. It’s unfortunate cause I would have stayed there a really long time.

I signed up for the “free” six week challenge which turns out is not free. Cool, I still signed up but the classes are literally impossible for me to make it due to my hectic work schedule. Being that I know i wont be able to make it to any of the classes because of my crazy schedule at work i called and asked to be refunded since i literally never came to not even one class. The girl on the phone was rude and told me to send a email to request a refund. So i sent a email and waited 24 hours for a response from anu (the person in charge). She asked if i wanted to freeze the membership because she wont give me a refund. Why would I freeze my member ship if im clearly stating i cannot make any of the classes because of my work schedule? If i never came to any of the classes I need my refund. But now i cant get a response and when I call my calls are ignored but when someone finally picks up they tell me theres no one for me to speak to. This place is a scam.

Staff is very nice and the classes are fun they push you and show you the appropriate technique so that you don’t cause an injury. Great playlist, great energy, when I was able to schedule a class it was a blast. I reached out to management letting them know I would like to cancel my membership due to the fact* that there were never any available spots open in any of the classes that I could make it to. And then if you don’t sign up immediately when the slots open you pretty much have to take whatever is left and I’m not sure about others but I have a high demanding and unpredictable job that doesn’t allow me to have different training sessions sporadically throughout the day or week. As assumed most evening classes are filled because that’s typically when most people are out of work etc. I tried to explain this to management and got an extremely dismissive response which I saw coming due to the lack of consideration they have for clients when it comes to this regard. Also felt it was unprofessional to point out how many classes I couldn’t make it to I’m assuming as a rebuttal to me addressing the issue not understanding that THATS the problem right there! If you make an appt you can’t fully commit to bc it’s at a time that doesn’t work for you but maybe you’re hoping you can make it, well TOO BAD not only do they NOT care they also charge $12 every time you “last minute cancel” which apparently has to be done 8 hours prior to your scheduled session... this is north jersey lol are you serious?!? Living here is unpredictable as is especially with all the environmental factors that go into play. It seems they need to consider the consistent clientele they have including those who sign up for yearly memberships and stop taking in new clients if you see that the minute the week opens all convenient classes are booked. Or maybe do a survey of what times work best for the current clients and work from there but it’s extremely unorganized in my opinion. Oh and also you have to cancel 4 weeks in advance they will charge you normally until the 4 weeks and then at the end charge you $200 as a cancelation fee lmao... I can’t be the only one who finds that ridiculous. Listen I am all for planning ahead and sticking to routine but unfortunately life sometimes does not allow it I just wish they had more wiggle room for those who make the yearly commitments and stop trying to get more money by accepting new clients and work with the ones you have. I personally feel like you lose more this way then you gain but I don’t run ILKB. Any who the takeaway message here is. If you are self employed, stay at home parent, unemployed, etc this place is for you. If you are working class forget about it 0 accommodation.

I lost inches off my waist, and I feel so much more confident with my body and my strength. The instructors are amazing and encourage you to keep going during the workout. I have a mixed review. The instructors were great; especially Taylor, Nicole, Val, and Destiny. The 6 week challenge needs work as far as the meal plan goes. It's a generic plan they use through a 3rd party and it didn't work for me. The classes were awesome and I enjoyed each 45 minute session. I think the staff does a good job keeping the studio clean and sanitized. The biggest negative was that the owner does not seem friendly which was disappointing. As a minority owned business, I wanted to leave a 5 star review, but I did not get genuine vibes from her. She seems money hungry. I've never saw her engage with any clients, she just walked back and forth from the front to the back of the studio and walked past clients without speaking. I also read some condescending comments left on the VIP Kickboxing FB page by the owner to a client and was disappointed. She should be thankful and appreciative that her business is thriving despite the pandemic instead of acting the way she does. I also agree with other reviews that they cut ties with 6 week challenge participants that do not lose the 25lbs. They did not follow through with giving me my results at the end of the 6 weeks which I wanted because I did lose a few lbs. I'd recommend skipping the 6 week challenge because most people do not get their deposit back because they don't lose the 25lbs in the 6 weeks. Sign up for weekly classes because the monthly membership is expensive.

This 6 week kickboxing challenge was.......amazing! Not only was I able to meet my goal of loosing 25 pounds, I learned so much about myself and health.
The online groups helped keep me accountable and encouraged.
One thing that was really hard was at first it is hard to adjust to the meal plan but by week 2 it was much better.
All the workout instructors were great. I would never have pushed myself if it weren’t for them. The facility was very clean. I love the no shoe policy.
I’ll definitely be keeping up with trying to stay fit and eating right.

Did the 6 week challenge. It’s $499 down for 3 times a week for 6 weeks. If you arent close to your goal by the end of week3, you can increase your classes to 4 times a week. If you meet your goal (-25lbs if over 150lbs or 6% body fat if under 150lbs) you get it all back. If not, you apply it to a membership with unlimited classes (extra 6 weeks for an extra $8)
The classes are great and as challenging as you make it. It consists of a 10 min boot camp style warm ups and then a series of kickboxing rounds with the bags.

Me and my sister just finished the 6 week challenge and I have mix feelings.
I never write reviews neither good nor bad, but the contract we signed states we need to do a FB and google review. Really wanted this one to be positive but I have to be honest.
Workouts are intense yet balanced. Instructors are friendly. Destiny is my favorite, very positive, full of energy yet disciplined and eager to teach you. I feel toned and stronger after 6 weeks. Needed a place to vent after 2 stressful months and this was perfect.
My honest opinion about the challenge is skip the stress (strict meal plan and weight every week, hoping your body would respond to the change) and either sign up for regular membership (which is pricey but 6 week challenge is included) or another gym with classes.
I guess it’s suitable for someone with high calorie intake that needs structure and guidance.
I wish I could share my final results but no one provided it. Prior to finishing the challenge I shared a complaint and feedback with the manager, who didn’t seem interested to hear any of it, after that sent an email sharing my concerns… no reply either. They cut any communication to the point that we don’t even know our final results. It feels disappointing to see that after collecting your payment you get no reply.

But taking this challenge was one of the best decisions I made for my self. Everyone is so nice and ready to give a helping hand when needed. I joined ILoveKickboxing of Little Ferry around the middle of January and after 6 weeks I’m happy to say I lost a total of 27 lbs. I’ve been pretty active my whole life but I’ve always fluctuated with my weight due to inconsistent eating habits. I pretty much fell off during 2020 with the pandemic and quarantine going on. It was an especially difficult year for me because I’m a healthcare worker and I worked hands on during the pandemic. I unfortunately also lost my aunt to Covid back in April 2020. Because of the quarantine, I pretty much went to work and came home everyday becoming somewhat stagnant and isolated from everyone. I saw an add on FB for a “free” 6 week challenge with ILoveKickboxing and it all started from there. The instructors are great and motivate you to push your limits. The classes are only 45 mins each but they are some of the most intense workouts I’ve done. I always finish class pouring sweat. What I liked most about it was that even though food selection was restricted, we were required to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most weight loss programs I’ve joined in the past usually required a meal replacement which was great at the time when seeing the weight loss but proved to not be worth it in the long run when going back to a regular eating schedule. Don’t get me wrong, the challenge was not easy. It took a lot self-control and self-motivation to get to my goal but I can honestly say it was all worth it. The only negative remark I would have to make is the pricing for a membership. It is definitely towards the pricier end which is unfortunate.

I signed up with ILKB Little Ferry in the beginning of December after realizing that I had gained FIFTY pounds after losing my job to covid. I became depressed, angry, anxious, and worst of all supporting 310lbs on my body was making everyday tasks such as walking up the stairs or even tying my shoes feel nearly impossible.
Everyday I was telling myself that I needed to change, but I just didn’t know where to begin. I’ve lost the weight before, but with crash diets and prescribed diet pills...only to always gain it back.

One day aimlessly scrolling through Facebook I came across a post for a six week challenge at a kickboxing studio that I frequently passed, and thought “Me? Kickboxing? YEAH RIGHT!”
Yet still, I was compelled to at least go and check it out. After an emotional initial consultation, I knew this is what I had to do to change my life.

I started the challenge on December 7th with a weigh in of 310 and closed out 286.3 (I was 285 at home that morning so I DID hit 25lb goal 😅) and also dropped about 4% body fat. The support and accountability you receive from everyone at ILKB is just amazing. The classes are intense and trust me you will SWEAT, but at the same time they are so much fun and the instructors bring so much energy to the class and they take the time to work with you and make sure you’re doing everything in correct form. These classes are great for all levels of fitness (trust me in the beginning I could barely do three jumping jacks) and they will help you to modify the workouts to suit your needs.

In all 33 years of my life I can honestly say I’ve never felt better, and although I still have lots of work to do, I’m sure the amazing people at ilovekickboxing Little Ferry will help me reach all my goals. 💪🏻🥊

I really did love this gym. It is super clean, the staff was great, and I really enjoyed the classes. The pricing is just absolutely insane and it is unfortunate that my friends and I had to stop coming just because of the price. It is hard to ask people to pay $150+ a month in general, but now when especially during a pandemic people are working multiple jobs and the price is honestly just not realistic. Stinks that they lost business because of the pricing. Would give it 5 stars if it was made more affordable and my friends and I could come back.

Mission accomplished I am soo happy and glad that I found and chose ILOVEKICKBOXING for my weight loss journey. The first couple weeks were the hardest part because I had to get accustomed to meal/diet plan, but after getting use to the food you create ways to make it appetizing.The way the diet is set up it made it easier than most diet to transition into the program. The 6 week challenge group is like an empowerment group with instructors that help and motivate you as well as other women who are working really hard to achieve the same goal. Doubling up on classes is a really big boost and a great way to lose more weight. I shed a lot of weight doubling up during the week and the results were amazing.

The staff is very friendly, nice, and always gives word of encouragement. Especially during checkpoint reviews and the kickboxing workout session. I would recommend anyone to give this place a try if you r looking to shed some unwanted weight.

I heard of this from a friend and I started it by doing the six week challenge. I can’t say enough good things about the workouts/instructors/THE MUSIC/everything. My body transformation since I’ve started is insane. Like anything else in life, you get what you put in but I’m convinced that all you really have to do in this studio to get results is show up and keep moving. I also love that you can always get better and better at just about every movement and exercise in class. I love this place! I was hesitant to start as I am a new mom and still finding how to have time for myself. However, the workouts you get here are so good and burn so many calories, that even if I can only make it once or twice a week, I can see and feel the difference. Since going here I’ve finally started to lose the post c-section mom pouch . The staff makes you feel so welcomed and included, and genuinely treat everyone like family. There’s no judgement felt, no matter what level of fitness, you are at, and there are monthly challenges to help you further meet your fitness goals. I leave each class so excited to show my partner what I learned, and eager to come again soon. Highly recommend this to anyone who needs a fun exciting full body workout, especially recommend it to any post partum moms trying to lose their baby fat! I am so happy I joined with I Love Kickboxing!

ILoveKickBoxing in Little Ferry is amazing! I have been attending for 6 months now and let me just say, I am hooked! The staff is very motivating— always encouraging you to give it your all. I have never experienced a workout class like this. From the HIIT warm-up, to the bag rounds, and then after the partner drills, you will definitely be dripping in sweat by the end of class. With each exercise drill you are working different parts of your body and consistently regulating your heart rate to get an ultimate full body workout. I have never been one to be committed to working out but ILoveKickBoxing has changed that. I now want to push myself to be the best I can be, and am always giving it my all. I’ve been going to ILKB for about four months now and I absolutely love it! I go to the 6am class and its such a great way to start my day. The first 15 min of class are brutal with cardio and I’ve always loved cardio but it is intense!! The set up of the class makes you get a full body workout and makes the hour go by fast. I leave dripping in sweat and feeling accomplished! They do challenges each month and events. This month’s challenge is called Planksgiving and all I have to say is WHOA! The instructors are all great but I do most of my classes with Anu. She is so fit that just looking at her makes you feel motivated to push yourself harder. If you’re looking for an awesome workout with great instructors and members, ILKB in Little Ferry is the place to go.

This gym is amazing!!
It’s perfect if you are young at heart! It’s high energy and loads of fun. I started going because of a 10day pass and I signed up for membership before my free trial was over! Here’s why I love it:

there are a wide variety of times available for classes which is perfect for my unpredictable schedule.
It’s a full body workout and there’s even a warmup and stretch session to prevent injuries and they show you the correct form of punching a bag.
The coaches are personable and so friendly! They take an invested interest in your fitness goals and even make suggestions to help you stay in track.
There’s a DJ night once a month so your workout turns into a party!
They host social and group events to get to know other gym members & have fun! (Like kareoke night)
Every month there’s a different challenge that help tone and strengthen a specific part of your body. For example in November, it’s Planksgiving! The length of time to complete a plank gradually increases so by the end of the month you can do a 5min plank!!
My absolute fave part is how often they post videos on social media. It’s motivating seeing a video of yourself absolutely killing it punching a bag and you get to showcase how badass you are to your followers. Hahaha

ILovekickboxing in Little Ferry NJ is the best place to go for a good workout.
I started 8 weeks ago and I feel better than I have in a very long time.
Every single instructor I’ve met there, are very motivating and I can’t wait to go back for more. I went from couch potato to kickboxing class 3 times a week.
I started out with the 6 week challenge. I didn’t make my goal, but the difference was so significant and motivating for more, so I sign up for a regular membership.
It’s a very clean gym and everyone always has a big smile on their faces when you go there.

ILKB Little Ferry has made me love exercising! I used to go to a gym, but get bored with the same old routine and never be able to stick to it. At ILKB every class is always different and a great workout. The studio is kept clean, all of the trainers are great, and everyone including other members are so welcoming! I always have fun and look forward to going. It feels like a little family. They promise support and it is BS because you can spend hours talking about your expectation and they still won't help you with motivation. When I say this place changed my life, it's an understatement. The instructors are very knowleadgeable in all aspects of health not just kickboxing. From the moment you walk in the door there is a friendly greeting, clean welcoming atmosphere and music that will pump you up for a great workout. Whether theres 2 people or 20 people in the class you always have someone making sure you are going at your pace and learning what you need to improve whether it's your first or 100th class. They have great amenities in the girls locker room that really come in handy when you are coming straight from work and might have forgotten a few things for your workout. Overall, it's a great workout in a great environment with great people! Highly recommend!

I am not a gym person. I do not like to exercise. I do LOVE kickboxing!!
I’ve been taking classes for about 3 months and I am stronger, more toned and I love taking classes.
When I called to set up my first class, I asked when they offered a ‘beginner’ class. They told me they didn’t - all levels of experience were together. I was hesitant, but they assured me that the instructors would work with me. True to their word, the instructors are VERY supportive. They help, instruct on proper technique, encourage and motivate. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The assist with nutrition too, because diet and exercise go hand in hand.
The studio is very clean and well maintained. Everyone is friendly. There are classes different times of the day to fit anyone’s schedule. Each class is different, so I am not bored doing to same thing. I am so glad I signed up and am making a difference in myself.

This place rocks!!! I felt so intimidated to walk in because my workout level was ZERO and I’ve never been a class type person BUT I’m so thankful I faced my fear with the wonderful crew here. The classes are high intensity but you can go at your own pace (thank God) and the trainers help you through on so many levels...encouragement, technique, motivation, even nutrition...and you will definitely start feeling awesome as you see your body transforming. I’m doing moves I never thought I could do and it’s giving me the strength I lost during my illness. Another wonderful bonus is that you meet people and make friends so it’s not like walking into a cold impersonal gym and that’s another great detail to help me actually make it to class.

I was looking for an activity to do in the company of my husband because we really love to work out together and we found in I love kick boxing. We didn’t know what to expect, however the staff is so professional and good at what they do. They made us feel at home. The facility it’s amazing. I'm so excited for this opening! The gym is literally a one stop shop for fitness. As a busy professional, it's hard for me to get a total body workout that is effective. I'mto get a total body conditioning, strengthen my core and stretch all within the 1 hour class. I was intimidated at first because I had no experience but the instructors assured me I didn't need any--they were right. I'm so grateful to have found such a positive environment, efficient workout and amazing location to continue my fitness journey.
