Joining JNA fitness was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health & fitness journey. I’ve trialed many gyms over the course of the last 5 years, searching for a gym to help me improve my overall health and strength while simultaneously building a sustainable lifestyle routine - I’ve most definitely found that here. While I’ve only been at JNA for 3.5 months, I haven’t felt this good about myself and the strength in my body in years.
The team at JNA (Alex, Tara, & Julian) are absolutely incredible! The environment they’ve built at this gym is unlike any other in the best way. It’s a very welcoming and friendly community, with people of various levels of expertise & experience in the gym. After a few classes, I instantly felt like I belonged. Beginner or advanced, the team here makes sure to adjust the workouts to your comfortability/capability level but they’ll also push you to keep going to complete the workout because they want you to reach your goals. The classes are small group training, but with an individualized feel as each trainer will guide you with different weights or adaptations of the workout. With the knowledge they each individually bring to the table, you have a wealth of information to help you along your fitness/health journey and they’re always there to answer any questions you may have.
On top of all else, they’re very kind and caring people who happen to be your trainers. In this world, it’s rare to come across people who are genuine, kind and passionate about their job. You’re not just another body in this gym, you’re apart of something. I couldn’t be more grateful to Alex, Tara and Julian for helping me to get to where I am now. I highly recommend this gym to anyone at any fitness level because I promise you won’t find a better place with better people.

I can’t say enough about JNA Fitness. I have been a member for about one and a half years and it has been a really great experience. They have two locations, Wyckoff and Waldwick and I frequent the Wyckoff location. You workout in a small group setting but also get very individualized attention from the great team of Julian, Alex, and Tara. JNA keeps you accountable and they strive for healthy lifestyle changes. If I may say so, I truly feel they “give a damn.” I trialed a few other gyms prior to JNA and JNA takes the cake every time!!!! Thank you JNA and their team for inspiring me!! Well done!

JNA Fitness is hands down one of the best fitness decisions I’ve made. Trainers Alex, Julian, and Tara are incredible, they truly meet you at your level, which makes the space feel welcoming and not intimidating no matter where you’re starting from.
What really stood out to me is how intentional they are with new members. They don’t just sign you up and push you into a routine. Instead, they offer a trial period to make sure you feel comfortable and that it’s the right fit for you, something that sets them apart from many other gyms.
The facility is super clean, and the small group class sizes make it feel like you’re getting personal training attention even in a group setting. I’ve seen a real difference in my fitness level since joining, so much so that my husband noticed and signed up too!

My husband and I have been members here for almost 9years! Through three pregnancies, isolated injuries and overall aging, the amazing trainers have continued to adjust and readjust my expectations and workouts, to fit the season of life I am currently going through. Each of the trainers have the expertise and knowledge to help you set, achieve and exceed your goals. So next month marks 9 years since I joined JNA and it was the best decision. Not only am I stronger but at a time when women need to lift heavier weights and gain muscle it’s what my body needed. it’s been almost 2 years at JNA and I cannot speak more highly of the coaches here, especially my recommendation here for pregnancy and postpartum journey. They truly took such good care of me and my health during my fitness journey while pregnant. Even with a broken foot during my second trimester, I was back in the gym after 5 days with a boot and was able to keep up as much strength as I safely could with the help of Tara, Julian, & Alex! They specialized work outs for me with appropriate modifications and when anyone asks me how I’m able to run around and go on adventures with my newborn, I thank JNA! It’s the strength and muscle gains that is so important for a healthy body and postpartum recovery. Make the commitment for yourself and your mental and physical health will thank you ❣️

JNA is fantastic! I finally started exercising again after 1.5 years postpartum. I previously have done home workouts and orange theory. This time I was looking for a place that has a great community and where I can really get personalized training to rebuild my core and get stronger. JNA fitness has been amazing! The trainers really care about you as a person and the classes are awesome, always varied and the time flies by. I love their flexibility with our schedules and the 45 min workouts are great. When I started, I had a 1 on 1 session with Alex and he took the time to learn about my goals and expectations. I used to dread exercising, but JNA has been a game changer for me! I joined 4 years ago in hopes of getting into a more regular workout routine, but have gotten so much more than I could have imagined. The trainers are incredibly personable— they care about me as a person—not just my general health goals, but also my life. JNA deserves more than 5 stars! I went to cheap gyms on and off for years but lacked motivation and ideas for balanced workouts. I found JNA through a friend 6 years ago and never looked back. This is NOT a gym. This is a fitness training experience that specializes in 1:1 personal training sessions or shared group personal training classes (no more than 6 students) that is 100% worth canceling your gym membership for.
As a past fitness professional who really enjoys strength and weight training, I also found myself becoming less and less motivated to push myself as I’m now in my mid-30s. I absolutely LOVE the coaches here and they all bring something different to the table by designing a 45 minute circuit that hits the whole body and is SAFE to do. They do not push you in a way that sacrifices on form and also cater to any structural weaknesses by giving modifications for those who need it. I have been going regularly 2x a week religiously since January 2nd and it’s amazing how much better my body is feeling and how much stronger it’s getting. Not to mention my clothes are fitting better too. No idea if I lost weight because screw scales!
The entire staff also makes you feel welcomed and at home the minute you walk through their doors. Shoutouts to Coach Alex, KJ, and Tara who are the best of the best! Btw they offer even more personalized services and have another location 2 towns away in Waldwick that you can attend as well!

Even before I stepped into JNA, I knew this place was special. Tara messaged with me and set up a free consultation, which turned out to be an awesome 45 minute training session. She even took the time to explain exactly how to get there and where to park. I could tell right away that this is a place that cares about their members. Joe and Alina, the owners, and the other trainers know EVERY SINGLE member by name and make a point to come say hi, give a fist bump, and check in every time you walk in. You won't meet nicer people anywhere. The classes are KILLER: always fun, always changing, always challenging. The trainers are knowledgeable and can help modify any exercise to your level. This is the first place I've ever gone where I said I have diastasis recti and not only did they know exactly what I was talking about, but had experience with it and suggested modifications. The space and all the equipment is impeccably clean. They also go above and beyond to do special things for their members: in the 5 weeks I've been there they had a park workout, a meetup at Abma's farm, a nighttime glow workout with lightsticks to benefit a cancer charity, and a huge Memorial Day workout where friends and family were welcomed, complete with after workout party and treats. If you're looking for a great workout, community, and atmosphere, look no further!

JNA is somewhere you can go and fit right in. I started at JNA about a year ago and didn’t know anyone, which can be intimidating. From day 1 everyone was so nice and friendly, I felt like I was immediately part of their family. The trainers treat everyone as an individual and are truly invested in every single member!
