JuliaCore is a boutique barre studio established in 2014. Our signature FREE unlimited two-week trial gives everyone the opportunity to see if JuliaCore is right for them. Barre class is a one hour session of specific movements designed to isolate and strengthen large muscle groups. This method blends Pilates principles with positions and stretching of yoga. For a cardio effect, the movements are performed to catchy music. Instead of machines, the body uses its own weight to create resistance for each muscle group in isolation. Although a ballet barre is used, this routine should not be confused with ballet training. This class is about form and precision. Ridiculous! Cancelled without notice! I do not care if you get pay or not from class pass, if you do not like them, don’t use it. Bad impression! Not professional at all!

Julia is fantastic, extremely passionate about this method and it is evident the moment you meet her. I have been attending her studio for almost 8 years and I would not go anywhere else. The small class size allows for individual attention to technique and form for everyone to make sure that every movement is being practiced perfectly. No two classes are the same, she manages to mix it up just enough to keep you challenged and wanting to come back for more. I feel exhilarated and empowered after every class and the best part is that I’m always sore throughout the day to help me remember the great experience.
Thanks to Julia, I have built and maintained definition in my muscles and posture that I have always wanted. I love, love, love the classes at Julia’s Barre Studio, it is the best way to start my day.

I’ve been going to Julia’s barre class for about 9 years now. As soon as I stepped foot into the studio, I knew my usual gym class days were over. Julia‘s class is like no other! The attention to detail, constantly encouraging her students, her attentive focus on making sure everybody’s form is correct, is just some of what Julia has to offer. I would never waste my time at the gym again. Julia’s class has transformed my body and mind! Anyone who’s up for a challenge, this is the class for you !

I love taking barre classes at JuliaCore Barre Studio, in Park Ridge. It's a small boutique studio that enables Julia to focus on your personal development. She is by far the best instructor I've experienced, after taking barre classes at several other locations in northern Bergen County. After 8 years of taking Julia's classes, she still motivates me.

I've been attending JuliaCore Barre Studio for several years, and it's been a transformative experience! I have taken barre classes for fifteen years prior and this class is by far the most thorough and challenging workout. Julia is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, always pushing us to reach our full potential. The class structure is well-balanced, providing a perfect mix of strength training and flexibility exercises. Her attention to detail is incredible, always focusing on proper form and safety. The community is also fantastic—motivating and encouraging each other every step of the way. I just had my second class with Julia and I'm excited for the next. Even though the class is killer...it makes me feel muscles in my body that I didn't know I had. The studio is beautifully designed and maintained, and the space is intimate and welcoming. The small class size allows Julia to tend specially to each student. It is obvious by her teaching that she is paying close and careful attention to her students, wanting them to have the best experience an be the healthiest they can be in their bodies. She is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and movement, and she does not hesitate to share that knowledge. From the little experience I have, I get the impression that this is the proper way to do barre class. I recommend checking out this studio to anyone wanting to connect with their bodies and experience its awesome potential!

I’ve been a devout follower of the Lotte Berk method now called Barre and trained with the Creme de la Creme in the biz through those 25 yrs. Just to name a few Lydia Bach, Ligerie Burns, Elisabeth Halfpapp and Fred Devito. I think I know who will give my body mind and spirit what it craves. Now we get to our Julia of Julia Core Barre Studio owner and devout follower as well. Another instructor and friend referred me to Julia and in quotes told me she’s the real deal and since the Studio is 5 mins from home I must go there. Well Ladies and Gents today I would travel just about anywhere to take her classes. Julia has as much knowledge of anatomy than most Physical Therapists and shares that information while instructing and correcting your pose. You start to know where your weaknesses lie and you begin to breath differently and stand taller. All this and she is kind has a delightful sense of humor...what more can you ask for? Today I took Julia’s Thai Stretch class and was in Heaven. I’m now incorporating that in between barre classes. You have one body you owe it to yourself to take care of this vessel and feel strong and filled with life. By the way I started her class to strengthen and elongate my 71 yr old body and wound up with a cute little Butt as well. Thanks Julia!!!!

This review is for those who are looking for a class to challenge themselves and a place with serious knowledgeable professional trainer support.
I mean real professional approach. The core of any sport activity is the instructor who will guide you through exercises and is obsessed with teaching and achieving results with your goals. After 3 years in this class I can assure you that JuliaCore barre studio is the place I described.

I had the pleasure of taking a class with Julia last Saturday and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. I have taken barre classes religiously for the last 5 years and I am quite particular about nearly every aspect of a class. The facility, class size, music and Julia's verbal cues made the class very enjoyable but also was a definite challenge. Her focus on form and positioning was so refreshing and left my legs trembling (in a GREAT way!). It is very rare to find a barre instructor that is so focused on form and willing to help each client individually.
Although I live in Manhattan, I often visit family in the Park Ridge area and I have been searching for a barre class to attend. My search is OVER! I can't recommend Julia more. If you have never tried barre or if you are a veteran, like myself, she will blow you away and leave you feeling long, lean and with a clear mind.
