I cannot say enough great things about JuST Cheer! This is truly a cheer gym where you feel like part of the family. The minute we walked in, we felt so welcomed and loved. The staff and cheer family welcome you in with open arms. You don’t feel like an outsider here! I can tell you this is not the case in most cheer gyms.

The classes are TOP NOTCH! The coaches are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They help athletes push themselves and reach their highest possible potential. They encourage them be confident in all their skills and work towards achieving their own personal success. They are genuinely passionate about cheer and tumbling, and it shows.

I also want to mention they have an awesome summer camp! My daughter wants to go everyday and that speaks volumes!

Even if you’re not ready to join an all-star team just yet, give them a try by going to a class. Trust me, you will get addicted! Your athlete will fall in love with the coaches and the other athletes.

I cannot recommend them enough. I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

We absolutely LOVE this cheer gym! My daughter currently does rec competitive cheer for our town. We enrolled her in some classes at JuST cheer and she absolutely loves it. The coaches and the girls are super welcoming. Even Brianna at the front desk is super welcoming and so sweet!

You could tell the coaches want these girls to succeed and do their very best. My daughter feels more comfortable being a flyer thanks to JuST cheer! I can’t wait to enroll her in even more classes and maybe even a prep team!

I am pleasantly surprised with how great the coaches and staff are.

I’ve tried to contact this gym multiple times via email and calling for several weeks now. They’re unresponsive. I have two daughters interested in doing competitive cheer and wanted to get more information regarding the gym, their classes, etc. I can see from the nasty responses to people’s negative reviews, they clearly have someone who can respond, just chose not to. Oh well…luckily there are better gyms in the area.

When the only all star cheer gym my daughter ever attended closed last year our family was lost. Luckily we followed those coaches to Just Cheer. Best decision ever!!! What an amazing experience. While some of those old coaches quickly left the program, Just Cheer proved to be the right choice for us. Their owners and coaches renewed my daughter’s love for the sport.

The pandemic has not been easy on any family. The owners believe that open and honest communication is important to a healthy environment. Isn’t that true in any relationship? Through their constant communications, Just Cheer kept the athletes, parents, coaches and gym safe during the reoccurring outbreaks. While I’m sure it was difficult, they kept us up to date on closures for quarantining while protecting the privacy of all involved. We never doubted that the upmost caution was being taken or felt the need to question a decision that was made.

The owners of Just Cheer know that their most important assets are their athletes. They understand that loyalty breeds loyalty. They treat each family with love, dignity and respect. What else could you want from a program? Oh yeah... their gyms walls are covers with banners too.

This gym by far is the best gym my daughter has been to:) the coaches, owners and girls are welcoming and supportive! My daughter has had a mental block, anxiety this year and coach Alex and the owners have been nothing but supportive to help her feel more confident and help her out of her mental block:) in regards to how they handle Covid, my wife had covid and our daughter had to quarantine for 14 days , as to not infect anyone at the gym. They are very careful when it comes to our new normal! If your looking for a gym with a passion, amazing coaches and owners, also a place where your kid wants to live everyday this is the place for your child:) you will not be dissappointed . We love just cheer and can’t wait for next season:)

My daughter has always gone there for private tumbling lessons as well as using the facility as a practice location for her high school competition team - we never had any problems they were always welcoming and friendly- then COVID came and we weren’t sure there would be a high school season- we decided to join the all star team as they were able to do things differently than the high school - well that turned out to be the best decision we could have made - from the coaches to the owners everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a “normal experience “ even though the year had nothing normal about it - fast forward to now - we just came home from our first trip to Summit!!! Something we had only seen on tv or heard others talk about - we met the nicest families and had the best time and my daughter shined - all thanks to the support from everyone - it’s a warm encouraging place to send your kids if they are interested in becoming the best they can be in the sport of cheerleading- we are so happy we made the choice to join #royalcats

I’ve had two daughters go through the program. My youngest has been there six years. We are extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and values of the owners, coaches and overall program. We just returned from the D1 Summit where our team placed in the top 10. My daughter loves it there.

Professional and positive. Amazing atmosphere where athletes are pushed to the next level. I wish I could give 10 stars! The owners know each athlete and parent by their name and go out of their way to make you part of the just cheer family. The coaching staff is knowledgeable and professional while allowing the athletes to have fun while they are learning. I am so happy we chose just cheer!

My firsthand experience with this gym ended with me slamming it shut hoping my daughter and I never have to experience anything like this again. I will admit this should have happened much sooner than it did (this is one of my biggest regrets). I kept hoping things would change and get better but no such luck. I am not looking for a “winning team” I am however looking for a place where she feels happiness, love, safe and is taught (coached) to be the best she can be. A place where they strive for perfection and do not accept being ok. If you expect perfection you will get greatness if you accept ok, you will get less than ok. They need to be taught (coached) not told to figure it out… this method DOES NOT WORK!
Now onto the good morals & values standpoint – The fact that Covid was NOT a top priority should have been the first clue that this place did not follow a moral road. Owners lying about who has Covid, allowing and asking athletes to attend practices when they were not feeling well or should have been quarantining. The fact that owners allowed a grown man to curse at children with ZERO repercussions is mind blowing. YES, I said CURSE at children not only at but curse and bad mouth an athlete’s family to their face using disgusting profanities. In my daughters’ case I questioned why this grown man was not stopped, I was told because it was a FOUR (4) minute moment again, mind blowing.
Needless to say if I could give negative stars I happily would.

If you are looking for a gym where your child will grow and flourish as an athlete, this is the place! They put a heavy focus on growing athletes to their potential and not just stacking teams. They have created a loving and supportive environment where children are encouraged and happy.

I went to just cheer for a year and the thing is that I felt like I was left out and that the coaches aren’t so professional as they say they are. The gym needs a bit more discipline and most kids are sometime’s left out a lot.

*** Just want to point out that I have never been to this place but I was looking into gyms in the area ; and reading the responses from the owner to those who have had a negative experience at some point, is enough to make me steer clear of this gym. There are ways to handle criticism gracefully ...and using passive aggressiveness is not one of them.

They need to get organized and update their class schedule. The adult class that they advertise on their website is not offered the third Thursday of every month. I called the day of the class to make sure they were having it, was told the class was still on, and drove out to Fairfield only to be told that they were not having the class and that whoever spoke to me on the phone gave me the wrong information. They proceeded to tell me to call ahead of time to make sure classes are still running, which is what I did the first time when I was misinformed...

I have been at JuSt Cheer for about 3 years now and started competing about two years ago. The coaches were so sweet to me from the beginning with my sister being on Junior 2 and Senior 2. I love coming to practice every week and personally think all the coaches have an equal balance of fun, discipline, experience, and motives. Highly recommend cheering here! <3

A fantastic gym with fantastic instruction. They have a great, big facility and all the resources necessary to get the best out of every cheerleader. While other gyms sometimes hold their kids back in a lower level to try to "win at all costs" and can be excessively strict, this gym cares about each child's individual progress and instructs in a disciplined, yet healthy, uplifting, and caring manner. They are structured and emphasize technique, and many kids have gone on to cheer at colleges with top cheer programs.

Just Cheer is a true family atmosphere, and they care about every child, regardless of ability. Your child isn't just a number that gets lost in the shuffle here, and cheerleading feels like a sport, not a business with big ego coaches/parents, which is often the case when a gym is too big. Don't mistake younger coaches for "inexperienced". If anything, young coaches tend to be energetic, up-to-date on the latest training techniques, and can relate very well to their athletes, which is the case at Just Cheer. The current owners are very knowledgeable and were top cheerleaders in their own right with several years of World level experience. Their head tumbling instructor is fantastic and has a great deal of knowledge/experience. The cost of the program is very reasonable.

There will always be immature or disgruntled parents who feel the need to say something negative because they were removed from the program or weren't committed enough to even finish the season. Sometimes people will leave a negative review without having ever gone to the gym just to try to harm the gym's reputation. People might even leave a mean review because they MISS the gym and are jealous that it's continuing on without them. The negativity of these people isn't classy and reflects more poorly on them than on the gym. (I also don't get the person's comment that her child feels "judged by the new owners". Perhaps that's an issue with the child more so than the staff, especially since the new owners had already been at the gym for a while before they became owners. I would honestly trust my child's emotional well-being here more than any place else.)

No gym is perfect or wins all the time, and Just Cheer deserves nothing but respect and admiration. They have an amazing history in the sport, with several strong finishes in the biggest divisions at Worlds, and are known throughout the cheerleading world. And the owners are doing a great job and seem really eager to continue building the program back up. In fact they just had a team win at the US Finals yesterday. Yes, they are young and still growing, but good coaches continue to learn no matter what age they are. They're capable of amazing things, and I highly recommend this gym. You can do well in cheerleading at any age, but if you start young, it's even easier to develop your skills. Just Cheer is one of the classiest organizations you will find in cheer, and not only can you become a great cheerleader here, but the life lessons you learn will extend well beyond the sport.

I have been taking my rec program here for choreography and practice for years. Their staff is knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. Their staff is experienced, but keep up with the most up to date stunt/tumbling techniques. I always refer my athletes to them for privates.

Coaches are inexperienced... many athletes left... it is so sad how this gym went from being dedicated to “hobby” sport. If you want structure and discipline, this is not the gym for you. If you want and entertainment, this is it...

We left the gym, having been there almost 4 years. The gym has recently changed hands and the new staff is young and inexperienced in our opinion. If you're looking for a good gym to introduce all star cheerleading to your young child, this is a good gym to try. The coaches seem to be very good with the little kids. However, there is very little opportunity for older, more advanced athletes to excel and succeed. This can all change from year to year, but in our opinion and our experience there, the difficulty, creativity and opportunity to advance and win is limited. They are a division 2 (D2) gym having less than 125 athletes, and compete within that circuit. They compete between 7 to 9 competitions a year, staying mostly local (Hershey, Trenton, Toms River, & AC) however, do travel to some far away comps (DC, NC, SC & FL). Cost is similiar with other local gyms. We paid almost $400 a month for gym fees($135) & allstar fees($250) for 2x a week practice. We've called around and found their prices to be similiar with other local gyms that practice 3 to 4 days a week (which can help produce more successful teams in our opinion). We kept hearing from the coaches its not about winning, its about having fun...that mentality became very frustrating for our daughter who wanted to win. The all star experience can be different for everyone, but if you are looking for a competitive, we mean business and want to win gym, this is not the gym for you; maybe in a few years, but not as it stands now.
