I’ve seen many people enter without ever creating a guest pass, yet when I wanted to bring my friend inside using a guest pass—even though I have a membership—they told me my friend couldn’t enter because my home branch is different. I’ve seen many people walk in without even scanning a QR code. This is discrimination. If you know the manager or the front-desk staff, you can do whatever you want. But if they don’t know you, they offer zero help. It’s truly a company that doesn’t care about keeping its customers satisfied.

“Shady billing and illegal-feeling cancellation practices.”

I cancelled my membership through LA Fitness’s official website and they still ignored it. They emailed me back without saying anything was wrong, then later claimed my account was “never cancelled” and that I suddenly owe dues. That is dishonest, predatory, and absolutely not what their own contract says.

I paid the first month, last month, and annual fee. I followed every rule. THEY failed to notify me of any remaining balance, and now they’re trying to charge me after the fact.

This place pressures you to sign up and then makes cancelling a nightmare. Avoid this gym unless you want to fight to stop charges you didn’t authorize.

The reason for this review is because we have let the staff know a few times about some machines that are not working. These have not been fixed or even received the sticker that they usually put on that equipment that says “scheduled for service”. To make matters worse, the equipment labeled with the aforementioned label has been like that for months. It seems that maintenance of equipment is not a priority. I have just talked about the machines in the lower level. If you go to the upper level where the cardio equipment is, you will find several machines that are not working and have not done so in a while (labeled and unlabeled).

No hip thrust machine or designated area so everyone uses the crossfit tires in the turf area,people who attend this gym are so rude selfish and inconsiderate. Edit: I unfortunately have to amend this 5-Star rating because it’s simply not accurate anymore. The male custodian quietly and stealthily walks into the women’s locker room without announcement and puts “men at work” signs while gawking at the women changing. I tried talking to a manager about it and he’s never available. I left my number to have him call me back, never happened. I came back after a month and found signs in all the lockers giving advice on how to avoid theft. Lastly, a video went viral online of a woman harassing a new member, cursing at her and telling her to “go back to her country.” Disgusting. This place isn’t what it it used to be, needless to say, it has let me down-[Original post-I’ve been going here for years, needless to say I’m pretty satisfied. Every gym has a rush period, can’t blame the gym for high traffic hours. It would be nice to have a few more of the popular machines but I think they’re stocked pretty well tbh. If you only come here for the pool, please remember this is a gym, you can’t have high super high expectations, but with that said I think they do pretty well. It’s honestly a great gym. Guys up front are friendly and approachable, dude at night can be a lil grumpy sometimes at closing but I get it, he’s gotta close. I love the smoothie bar even though it’s pricey but what isn’t anymore. 10/10, I hope this place never lets me down ♥️]

One of the worst gyms I’ve had the displeasure of being a member of. Super messy, broken equipment and having to grab attachments from the front desk at the front of the gym while the cable machines are all the way in the back. A corporate gym with zero corporate standards being upheld, a lose lose. Oh and cancelling is near impossible if you work a full time job since the GM/operations manager is either always conveniently missing in action.

Have to give a 1 star review although Isabella was VERY helpful and kind and informative in giving us an advertised promo. However, ADAM the manager came to say, first, the promo advertised in a flyer isn't active. Seems he was unaware of his own facility's promos. And second, it is active but the price that we confirmed twice was not correct. He showed us the screen to reflect the higher price but when we told him that's not what we were told he turned off the screen sharing and said "yea no." This is very sketchy because you won't show us what you see? Adam was absolutely unhelpful and we had to walk away without a membership because clearly he was lying, trying to get more money on his shift or I'm not sure what. It's illegal to advertise something that's untrue. Will be contacting corporate.

I only wanted to use the guest pass I received to try out the gym, which called for 7 free days. When I got there I while the person helping me wash very nice, I felt coursed into to buying a membership, the person wouldn't take no for an answer and I started to get uncomfortable with there persuasive tone and words. In the end I bought a membership , there was a weird fee(first and last due?) which wasn't explained well to me during the whole process and never got to use the free guest pass to see if I wanted to even go there. All in all it seems like a nice gym, and we'll see how it goes.

I will give 3 stars. this facility is the only gym open to 12am, which is great. but this is nothing about the workers or facility, but there is no gym etiquette (weights are never re-racked, or left wherever the last person used them). Bonus is the Ngrize Shake Bar. When it comes to a gym, its a place to come workout/ exercise, its not a social club. If you want to hang out in a pool, go to a hotel!! the pool is for exercise not leisure. Cleanliness of restroom could use work and lockers are in rough shape (a bunch are broken). The pool is always crowded, and people don't adhere to pool etiquette, always more than 2 people in a lane and they aren't even doing laps, just hanging out, the hot tub always has too much chemicals and still has scum floating on the surface, the staff doesn't do anything when you complain or inform them about people abusing the pool area. I come here to work out and do laps. But people are always jumping in my lane without asking, and like I said before they are not even using the pool for doing laps.

I had such a great experience with Adam from the gym’s IT team. He went above and beyond to help me get my membership set up smoothly.
