They have great service over there. I have been to other LA Fitness before, but this one is closest to home and I will be honest with you I have had a lot of issues yet despite all the issues their costumer service was able to help me out big time. Place is dirty, basketball court has water damage and has not been fixed for nearly 2 months with all the money they are given on a weekly basis. They want you to pay for all this to not have main activities in working order as well as the workout machines. Staff completely oblivious to a lady walking in and harassing other people working out on top of everything else. Don’t bother wasting a fortune here. Planet fitness is a much better deal.

I go to the gym at 5am and only have one hour to workout BUT 20mins of it is searching for dumbbells. Total disgrace. Nothing is racked and always weights on machine. LOOK AT MY PICTURES FROM 5AM. I should get a reimbursement for paying a membership fee where I have to search and rack others weights.

I came in new to the gym environment and spoke to one of the sales counselors, Justin. He was welcoming and friendly right away. He gave a great tour of the gym and broke down the prices perfectly. Definitely affordable and I love the class schedule! Having the Pilates reformer was a huge bonus. As soon as I complete my move to the area, I will definitely be in to join!

I’ve been a member here for a year now, and I can honestly say this gym is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained facilities in Passaic County. From day one, when Joseph signed me up, the staff has been nothing but welcoming. Mike at the front desk always greets me by name, which is such a professional and personal touch that makes me feel valued every time I walk in.

The locker rooms are spotless—housekeepers really pay attention to detail, and it shows. Mornings are the perfect time for a peaceful, focused workout, and while afternoons can get busy with high schoolers, I’m usually finished before then.

After years of searching for a decent gym in the area, I can confidently say this one is at the very top of my list. Between the exceptional cleanliness, the friendly and helpful staff, and the professional atmosphere, I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here

I had a very bad experience with the service. The staff was neither helpful nor knowledgeable, and they didn't have answers to any of my questions. The pool and hot tub have been closed for months. I went to the pool, and just five minutes later, I was told to get out due to maintenance, with no prior notice given. Even the maintenance worker admitted that it was a lie – the heater is broken, and the city needs to come and inspect it. Additionally, there are no good classes available; all the good instructors have left the club, and no one seems to care.

First, the staff. These people are saints disguised as personal trainers, wielding clipboards and motivational one-liners like weapons of mass encouragement. My trainer, Joey, has the uncanny ability to make me believe I can deadlift a small car while simultaneously roasting my form with a grin. “You’re lifting like you’re trying to hug the bar!” he’ll say, and somehow, I’m laughing through the pain. The front desk crew is equally delightful, greeting you with smiles so genuine you’d think they’re paid in protein shakes (maybe they are?).

The equipment? Oh, it’s pristine. The treadmills hum like they’re auditioning for a sci-fi flick, and the weight racks are so organized I’m convinced they’re curated by a fitness librarian. There’s a quirky charm to the slightly squeaky elliptical that’s become my personal nemesis—it’s like the machine is cheering me on with every creak. And don’t get me started on the water fountain; it’s the coldest, crispest sip of heaven after a set of burpees that felt like a near-death experience.

The atmosphere is where this gym truly shines. It’s a bizarre blend of hardcore lifters grunting like they’re summoning Thor and yoga enthusiasts who look like they’ve achieved inner peace mid-downward dog. Somehow, it works. The group classes are a riot—Zumba feels like a dance party where everyone forgot the steps but is too sweaty to care, and the spin instructor’s playlist is 90% early 2000s bangers that make you pedal faster just to escape the nostalgia.

Cleanliness? Impeccable. The locker rooms are so spotless I’m tempted to eat off the floor (I won’t, but I could). The staff must have a secret army of cleaning ninjas because I’ve never seen a stray towel or a smudged mirror, even during peak hours.

If I had to nitpick, I’d say the gym’s Wi-Fi could be stronger—uploading my post-workout selfie shouldn’t feel like a cardio session of its own. But honestly, that’s like complaining that your Michelin-starred meal came with a slightly bent fork. This place is a gem.
