Iβve taken 10+ classes at Lavender Koi over the past few months and always have a beautiful experience. The instructors are kind, welcoming, supportive, and free of judgement. The classes range in difficulty and intensity, so thereβs something for everyone. I love that many instructors integrate other wellness topics and explain why a certain posture/movement is beneficial to our bodies. I truly feel Iβve found a special community and am excited to continue practicing here!

Lavender Koi is a true hidden GEM located off the WHP in Berlin. A welcoming and peaceful sanctuary with a variety of beautiful practice offerings. Gwyn and her staff cultivate a lovely community encompassing kindness and thoughtfulness at all times. Personally, the Koi has improved my overall health in mind, body, and spirit. For that I am always grateful. I have been practicing at this studio for almost 8 years. Om Shanti!

This studio welcomed me with open arms! From day one not knowing anyone or very little about yoga Gwynn the owner has cultivated such a space that feels warm welcoming and inviting. She has created a place where like minded people can gather and feel safe and seen! In my five years of going to this studio I have felt nothing less than a family like vibes! I have learned so many things met amazing long lasting friends. She welcomes all yogis with a warm and loving awareness!!!! 10/10 #1 studio Iβve ever been to!

Very unwelcoming vibes at this place.
I purchased a month package deal and even after months of no longer attending feeling compelled to write this review.
At times it is difficult to find a yoga studio to practice with because either the instructors or other attendees make a space that is supposed to be relaxing very unwelcoming. I wanted to hump start back into yoga after close family death and an ankle sprang and was literally told by an instructor "this class is not for you"
Out of all of the instructors there was only 1 that was actually yoga centered. Out of all 6 in area that I have visited trying to find somewhere to cultivate my healing journey this was the least welcoming.

I came for a Sunday gentle Hatha class in studio. I booked a drop in class for $20. The space is beautiful, open, fresh and comforting. Gwyneth was an amazing instructor and I left in total calmness. I feel great. Will be back again.

I've been attending yoga sessions here off and on for almost a year. I really enjoy the slow stretching and deep breathing used in Vin/Yin fusion on Tuesday nights. They have instructors that can guide you in many different styles of yoga including Kundalini and Vinyasa. You can schedule classes online or do a drop in the night off a class. I have not been turned away from a class even if I was a spur of the moment drop-in. Payments for class packages or drop-ins can be made while scheduling online or at the location and credit/debit is excepted. Try one of these classes for all adults and skill levels and you will be glad that you did. My sleep, flexibility, and joint mobility is always greatly improved after attending a session.

I have discovered a lovely yoga studio about 10 minutes from my house in Berlin, NJ. Have taken three classes the first week: three different forms with three different instructors and plan to try others that are offered. I recommend trying Lavender Koi if you are either looking for a new experience or simply want to try something new. The physical setting, the instructors, and, of course, the classes are so far serving my very clearly known yoga needs after many years of practice. Namaste!
P.S. Love the name π

I absolutely loved Lavender Koi. I've never done yoga before and was really happy with the calm environment, nice cozy studio. You automatically feel welcome walking in, it's like not a single negative vibe makes its way through that door. Gwyneth was friendly as a person could be. Definitely a judge free zone, even me not knowing a single thing about yoga felt comfortable in the class. So happy I found this little gem!
