Recently switched to this gym and it’s been great. So much awesome equipment. Everything is clean and maintained well. The owner did a great job with the way all the equipment is laid out. There’s plenty of room inside so it never feels cramped, even when there’s a lot of people there. They have bay doors that they usually open when the weather is nice, so that’s an awesome perk. Highly recommend this gym. Whether you’re a physique competitor or just someone who enjoys training, this gym will not disappoint.

By far the best gym in Jersey. From the moment you walk through the door, the atmosphere is nothing but welcoming. You are surrounded by individuals who are constantly striving to better themselves. I just switched gyms due to being physically assaulted at a gym and the owner doing nothing about it. I cancelled my membership and switched to this gym and was welcomed in really warmly by everyone here especially the owner. This environment makes me feel safe and I have no doubt the owner would take care of any issues in his gym professionally. This equipment is awesome and has everything you need. I came to Legendary Fitness because I followed my Trainer - Rob Taylor. I had been training with Rob for a while when he left my other gym to go to Legendary. I am a novice when it comes to working out and was more than a little nervous entering Legendary Fitness.

Rob introduced me to the owner, David, and I was welcomed and he went out of his way to make me more comfortable. Rob has taught me about the equipment available and how to best use it. With Rob's guidance, I have dropped 90 lbs and overcome a lot of medical issues including coming off all medications.

Rob has a unique ability to target muscle groups and areas of the body that I have never seen in other trainers. He has a real gift to see how the body moves and how to best help his clients achieve their goals. No matter if you are male, female, adult or child, experienced or novice; Rob is someone who can help you get where you want to be.

I urge anyone looking to improve their fitness to go to Legendary and meet with Rob. Try a training session and see for yourself.

I have been going to Legendary fitness for a few months now. And I have been training with Stef during this time. She is the most positive trainer who has helped me get stronger not only physically but mentally and emotionally. She will send me the breakdown of what our training session will be the night before so I am prepared and ready to get to it. She will never let me quit or give up, she might have me go down in weight, but her little extra love and support is what makes me leave there with the biggest smile and feeling amazing the rest of the day.

We recently reached out to this gym because my wife, who is pregnant, was interested in starting a fitness program. Over the phone, we spoke directly with the owner, who told us she could come in for a consultation. Unfortunately, during her visit she experienced fat-shaming, which was very upsetting. When we later spoke again with the owner to raise our concerns, he was highly dismissive, saying he doubted that it happened. As we tried to explain further, he hung up on us. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We had hoped for a supportive environment, but sadly that was not our experience.

There is no pressure to sign up for anything extra training sessions, but if you want to they are there for you. My personal trainer, Lauren, is AMAZING!!!. She is so supportive and she makes sure you get a great workout but you can still move the next day. It is also the first no judgements gym I have ever been to. This gym is the most incredibly equipped gym I've ever been to. Machines I've was never even seen before. Any muscle you want to target, I guarantee they have the equipment for you. That said, I was very nervous about this gym out of pure intimidation lol. I went in with the intent of hiring a trainer to help guide me with everything the gym offers. My trainer Stef is the one you want! She pushed me further than I thought I could, but stayed motivational, supportive and kept me safe from injury. I have so much more confidence now stepping into the gym!

This is a really special gym in South Jersey! The space to workout in is gigantic, so clean you can eat off the floor (seriously clean), and plenty of unique equipment (standing bench press!). I am extremely impressed with Legendary Fitness and am so glad to have joined. • It’s approachable for all skill levels

• The equipment is not only some of the best money can buy - but it’s well maintained and cleaned religiously (I’ve been going for months - and never have seen a down for repair sign or found anything broken)

• The staff is friendly, flexible and helpful

• It’s massive - even at peak hours it doesn’t feel packed. I never wait for a machine, there’s always something open for me to use in my training regiment for the day

Unsafe gym equipment and me and my friends go every other day but have stopped due to me and some other friends getting severely injured. tried telling management and employees but they wouldn’t care at all. never ever coming back.

Edit: This is truly disheartening to see as someone who had a legitimate concern that was not addressed. To make up a random story to try and discredit my experience rather than take accountability is both unprofessional and disappointing. I joined Legendary Fitness MDW and have been in love ever since. This is the gym of my dreams and will help me achieve all my goals. The staff/owners are very good and supportive people who have the highest integrity when it comes to their facility. The members are also very supportive and practice gym etiquette on a daily basis, with cleaning equipment and re racking their weights UNLIKE other commercial gyms in the area who leave messes as if in toddler room. Legendary Fitness is awesome! I come from those big box gyms (y’all know what I am talking about). I am not into bodybuilding or anything like that. So, A lot of the equipment is not what I am used to. But everyone there has been really nice. I feel comfortable asking anyone, from a fellow gym goer to David or Lauren, a question or for help. The gym is super clean which is great. There’s nothing worse than smelling someone’s leftover body order seeing their leftover sweat on the equipment. Gross! My sister, who lives Central Jersey, loves working out here and really wishes there was one closer to her. It’s a gem. I really want to gatekeep. But it’s a great gym.

Best damn gym I have found since moving to South Jersey. The machines are top tier and they have everything you can ask for and things you never knew about.

I can only speak to my experience. Im part of the early crew that works out here and when I mean early I mean 5am. Its awesome seeing familiar faces on their own fitness journey day after day. Staff and members are extremely approachable. I've never been decline when I asked to work in with someone on a machine. Even when the owner David was on the treadmill and all treadmills were filled and he saw me doing laps around the gym until a treadmill freed up, he waved me down and gave up his machine so I can do what I needed to do. I've made alot of friends here over the last year and a few close ones that ended up going on an adventure to iceland with wife and me. Couldn't ask for more in a gym and Im excited to see this gym community grow

I been lifting for 18 years. I’m 34 years old. This gym has one do the best equipments out there. All the machines are built in a way where you can really feel the muscle work. Perfect alignment and angles. Machines are brand new, well taken care of. I had one of the best workouts of my life here. It incredible how fast I achieved mind muscle connections right off the bat. I was only back in New Jersey for a month, but I signed up for a monthly membership here and loved it. I used to go to the la fitness or lifetime, but I found this gym and will be coming back when I’m back in jersey.

Legendary has top of the line Arsenal & Rogue equipment, including multiple items I've never seen at other gyms, but have come to routinely use. I’ve done my time at planet fitness, anytime fitness, la fitness and the base gyms. This gym is the first gym where I’ve felt completely comfortable. It’s a community. Everyone is kind and uplifting. It’s amazing to see the commodore. A variety of equipment for what ever your goals are. And they are constantly improving the equipment.

When someone’s hitting a PR you’ll often see a crowd and people cheering them on. This gym is a community. And if you want to be apart of that this is the place for you. Legendary Fitness is the Premier Gym in this area in my opinion. I’ve lived in the Hainesport area all my life and have worked out at a lot of different gyms. This is the best so far. Top of the line Arsenal equipment, great layout, and the cleanliness is really what sets it apart. Tells me that Dave really cares and is proud of what he built. I joined in January coming from a big commercial gym and couldn’t be happier with my decision. If your looking for a gym to help you achieve your fitness goals this is the place.

Legendary Fitness Gym is an all around stellar gym. All equipment is brand new and quality stuff that will last over time. The atmosphere is solid. Every member cares about the equipment and treats it as if it's their own. On top of that, the owners know what they are doing. I've trained with Dave for almost 2 years now, if you tell him your goals, he will cater your program around that vs using something generic offline. Definitely the best experience I've had with a trainer as well as helping me hit both my goals in and out of the gym. Bottomline - LFG is a solid gym with amazing members and stellar owners!

Legendary Fitness Gym has been a great experience since joining a few months ago. The trainers are nice and take interest in your goals regardless of your fitness level. This gym has quality equipment; to include Arsenal Strength, Rogue combo racks, Calibrated Plate weights, and Iron Bull Strength dumbbells. They're also constantly adding new equipment to keep your workouts fresh. The equipment and facility are well kept and never dirty. The gym operates with very reasonable hours throughout the day and offers non-staffed hours for members. More than likely you're able to get a lift in during the holidays. They're very active on social media and announce any events or anything going on within the gym community. Everyone has proper gym etiquette and is here to train. This is often hard to find at a commercial gym. Powerlifters, bodybuilders, any gym bro/gal would enjoy. Membership pricing is fair and offer discounts towards veterans and active duty. If you're hesitant, get a day pass. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
My husband and I are professional trainers, and we were looking for coaching for our high school son. We found David and his wife, Lauren, who are both knowledgeable, safe and reliable, they provide a wonderful environment for my son to progress in his bodybuilding goals and I get the support and accountability I need as a retired female athlete.
I knew exactly what I was looking for and I struggled to find a complete package, Legendary provides just that and in a reasonable price point. It’s a great environment, clean and safe, and I recommend their training, especially to women, as often as I can!

By far the best gym I’ve been to yet. The machines are unlike most gyms and absolutely cover every muscle in the body. The atmosphere is inviting, motivating and always very clean. The owner David is usually there and great for showing you proper form or giving you a pointer, but his training is far and above most trainers. He figured out my body fat percentage in house with a machine, set me up with macro intake and helped with my diet. Consistently gives me fresh workouts and keeps me pushing my limits without going over aka getting hurt. He keeps track of all my workouts and has me advancing steadily every week. The key is to stick to what he says both in gym as well as out and you can reach any goal you set for yourself with him leading you, just let him know what your trying to achieve and he’s on top of it!

What a great gym! David is a veteran who understands what people are looking for in a real gym. He keeps it super clean, and enforces gym edict that’s missing from 99% of those other gyms. The gym is loaded with Arsenal and Rogue equipment. I was in the gym with experienced members and a gentleman that looked like it was his first there and Dave was walking around helping anyone who needed it. He also had a personal training session where get this he was focused on his client and not his cell phone! The guy just gets it! I travel allot for work and get to go to new gyms all the time it’s rare that one inspires me write a review but LFG is a class above!

I used to bounce around to a lot of different gyms, I always sought out a different experience. Always looking for the biggest variety of equipment I could find. About 8 months ago I came to legendary and day passed a few times, I liked the gym and cleanliness of it. Even though it was only 15 minutes from my house I still didn’t have a “home gym”. Well about 3 months ago I stopped bouncing around and got a membership here. The more I came here, the more I got to know the owner Dave and his wife. As a business owner myself, I believe Dave runs a good business here and is ontop of it, you can always find both of them in the gym tending to it or offering help and insight. Both Dave and his wife offer training and mentorship for all different types of needs. The more I got to know the community they have built within this gym in only one year. The more it made me decide to make this that “home gym” I was seeking. About a week ago I decided to stop bouncing around and just get the yearly membership. I’m excited to see Dave continue to grow this gym, his business, and community. To put into words what a good community, especially this one can do for someone looking to grow themselves inside and outside a gym is hard. The equipment is top notch and some of the best you can buy, the bathrooms are always clean and kept up on. This is a top tier training gym in my opinion. Wether your a power lifter, a body builder, or just someone looking to stay in shape, or lose some weight. Then this is a good gym for you to come out too. Best gym in south Jersey! I’ve been going to LFG for a couple months now, and I can confidently say that there’s no gym like it. What separates LFG from other gyms are their equipments. I don’t think I have ever seen a gym with such high quality equipments, and the best part is that they are frequently adding new ones. Also, their hours is another reason why I enjoy this gym so much. Sometimes I work late on weekends and the fact that they are open later than other gyms is a huge saver.

I’ve visited twice. Both times were great. Combo racks are in pretty good condition. If you’re a powerlifter, this place has everything you need. Found this gym on thumbtack app. Def a hidden gem. The owner is fantastic and listens to what you say AND what you don’t say. He’s not pushy and gives you the “you can do it” without the “pain is gain” attitude. He makes you want to push through an exercise when it’s getting intense but also respects your limits. I don’t feel judged by anyone else that’s working out either. 10 out of 10 love this place.

Moved here from Cali and had an amazing experience at a powerlifting gym back in my hometown. Really struggled to find one in NJ until I stumbled upon LFG and I am so thankful I did! Finding LFG was both a blessing and a treat. The passion of the owners, David and Lauren, can be seen in the thoughtfulness behind the library of equipment available as well as the layout and atmosphere of the gym. Regardless of what your goals are, you'll find everything you need and then some here. Stepping in, you'll feel like a kid in a candy store with all the different machines to choose from, which if you're a gym nerd, is not an easy feeling to achieve. Even my partner, who hates the gym, is happy to join me, which shows that it really does have something for everyone.

The community that's been created here by the regular members is also something that I really admire and appreciate and says a lot of the power of the approach that's been taken when creating this space and all the pieces that go into it.

I unfortunately am not in the area full time but always try to make it here whenever I am around. If you're lucky enough to be in the South Jersey area, do yourself a favor and sign yourself up for a membership.
