From the first day I met Brandon, I felt so welcomed. I just finished my time as a collegiate athlete and was looking for some structure in workouts to help gain upper body strength to hopefully one day go through the police academy. It only took one session for me to notice a difference in my upper body strength. He built me a schedule to take back to school with me to continue my training and has been nothing but helpful. 150 miles away and he is still just as helpful as when I was home. Brandon not only has tons of exercise knowledge, he has real world applications that he experienced (thank you for your service!) and is able to coach and guide me through experiences I might encounter. Day to day life, he has the right words to get you motivated to better yourself. And he's funny, that always helps when you're trying to workout and gain the motivation to better yourself!!

I signed up with Lighthouse Strength almost a year ago. Brandon is very knowledgeable and explains and demonstrates each new exercise. I feel better and stronger than I ever have. Highly recommend.

Two years ago I needed to have Reconstructive ankle surgery. I was completely non-weight bearing for almost six months. I never fully recovered and oftentimes walked with a limp. So after trying everything, including Physical Therapy I decided that I wanted to get a personal trainer. I stumbled upon Brandon's website and went in for my free consultation. I found Brandon to be extremely knowledgeable and he really listened to my goals. I only had two. One was to become overall stronger and the other was to help with my ankle recovery. Inside me I always knew that another surgery was inevitable but I wanted to postpone it for as long as possible because my first recovery was so difficult. Well after a few short months I noticed how strong I had become and was lifting weights that I never really thought I could possibly lift. I even became a huge fan of deadlifts. But more importantly, I discovered that training with Brandon was the ONLY thing that helped my ankle feel better and helped with my overall gait. Brandon taught me proper technique and form. I had worked out a lot in the past but have learned so much from Brandon and feel like I am finally good at strength training. Then there are the added benefits of feeling great, looking better and overall health. Eventually, I needed to have a second surgery and my recovery was quick and practically pain free and I can attest that that was from the year of training I had under my belt from Brandon and Lighthouse Strength. I was able to get back to training in a little over two weeks after surgery. Training at Lighthouse Strength was definitely one of the best decisions I have made and am extremely thankful for Brandon and his knowledge that he has bestowed to me along the way! Highly recommend!

Lighthouse Strength and Fitness was recommended to me by to of my neighbors. Both have Parkinson’s and have be helped by Brandon’s program. I was wondering could he help my husband who suffers from Alzheimer’s? After speaking with Brandon and learning of his vast knowledge and training I said let’s give it a try. My husband needs balance and strength training and Brandon has been amazing. His knowledge and professionalism has lead to results I thought were not possible. His approach with my husband is supportive and guiding. Brandon provides the training that will allow my husband to keep mobile and stay at home with me.

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and found that my health was declining much too fast for a 38 yr old . I decided that for the first time in my life I needed to get serious about my health. I found Brandon on the interwebs and ever since, with hard work and his professional knowledge and motivation I have began to turn my health around. After about 9 months, working out 3 days a week my most recent blood work came back better than it has been in a long time. There really is power in exercise and eating better...duh! Doing something is better than doing nothing at all. Brandon has taught me much more than I could ever write in this review. Get up off the couch. One step at a time and that first step should be contacting Brandon at Lighthouse Strength if you’re serious about changing the corse of your health and well being.

At age 68, having never worked with a Personal Trainer before, I was unsure of what to expect when I began my relationship with Brandon. Four months into this journey, here is what I discovered.

I am stronger, healthier, more positive and more confident because of Brandon’s influence. Brandon is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, caring, thorough and encouraging. His technique, style and training skills are superb. He is motivational, comprehensive, disciplined and FUN!

I highly recommend him to anyone seriously looking to improve their health and their life.

Brandon Wendling is a great fitness trainer, coach, and motivator. Although active in other workouts, I wanted to get back into the gym to focus on weight lifting. Brandon teaches safety, good form, and how these workouts can positively impact your health. His success is your success and will do whatever it takes to ensure that your goals are met. We quickly realized while doing squats that my shoulder rotation is not 100% since my labrum repair surgery two years ago. Brandon quickly modified the exercise to focus on shoulder strength and mobility. I am thankful for the knowledge, tidbits, and safety reminders while weight lifting. Brandon is very professional, personable, and genuinely cares about your success.
