Jay's a great trainer! He really pays attention while you're exercising and is quick to point out issues with your form of if it looks like you're compensating. I found the workouts he gave me challenging but achievable, and overall he really helped me learn how to work out.
His gym is also clean, pleasant, and private which is a huge plus. Would highly recommend.

Jay is awesome and I'd recommend him to everyone I know! My mom (who is in her 80s) stayed home during COVID and developed a difficulty walking, which got worse with time. Then we came across some great reviews about Jay helping seniors with mobility issues. My mom has been seeing Jay for a couple of months now and she LOVES these one-on-one sessions with him because it is customized just for her and highly effective. Started 2:1 class with my mom and it has been around 4-5 months since. I always struggled to gain weight overall whether that be fat or muscle. After starting here, I gained over 5 lb in muscle/fat!! This might not be a lot to some people but it is a HUGE deal for me as even gaining 2 lbs and having it stick was always impossibly hard. After workouts he would send videos of us to show the proper posture so we could also work out on our own. Even though it was a 2:1 class with my mom, he would tailor the workouts to our personal needs whether that be weight gain, bad posture, or hip/back pain. My mom recently hurt her hip/leg to the point where she could barely walk and/or lift her arm above her shoulder. After coming here, she has seen visible improvement and says Jay really knows what works for each person. If a certain workout didn't work for her or was too painful, he didn't just give up and move on, he would customize it accordingly. He is super nice/funny and makes the workouts enjoyable and not a dread. SUPER RECOMMEND!! :)

I've been working with Jay for the last 12 weeks and this has been my first experience with a physical trainer. At first, I definitely was apprehensive - I mean who wouldn't be? 3 years of Covid definitely doesn't help keep people in shape. But Jay designed the workouts to suit my needs while pushing my limits. He's explained the science and the methodology he's taken in building the workout and there are tangible and measurable results to be had.

Jay excels as a trainer. It's not just exercises and form, he goes into the biomechanics and is able to tailor each movement for my specific body flexibility, bias, etc. I have done years of training prior to this, but my progress is much more significant under Jay's guidance.

I have exercised with him for prenatal and postnatal.
I had serious lower back pain and the leg from my big belly. After working out I see and feel a difference. Even after giving birth with c-section I recovered so much faster. I have been a steady bi-weekly client of this trainer for over 5 years and his program for me has been shown to be unusually inventive and effective. I am now 86 and would not be moving much anymore without his guidance. His programs take into account both my chronic ailments and those newly formed and handles both within my personal capacities, my capabilities resulting from fitness and age. I've been wanting to find a personal trainer who can help me get more toned and fix my bad posture. I've learned so much about my body the past 1.5 months here -- where my strong/weak parts are, what simple stretches I can do to help loosen my tensed muscles, and what targeted exercises I can do to strengthen my weak points -- meanwhile focusing on gaining strength in all parts of the body. Overall I am very happy with the sessions and I am already feeling improvement in my weaker areas. Also the gym is very clean which is a huge plus!
