I started a month ago and absolutely love the program. I've done similar programs before, but Max feels more like a community where all skill levels are welcomed. Every day, I can feel myself getting stronger. I also appreciate that they offer the option to work out from home on days when I can't make it due to work or the kids.

Love love love this place!! Walking in alone to. New fitness routine can be intimidating but walking into The Max in Hazlet was anything but. I was welcomed in as if everyone knew me forever. This has been the best experience for me! I am not one to workout everyday or even have the patience for it. With my busy schedule that I’m sure most people have, I was able to go in every weekday. The hours work great for anyone tbh. The trainers are so well equipped for people like me! They’re amazing, upbeat, motivational, fun, and most of all skilled! I look forward to going in everyday to get a great workout in! It really does motivate me to work on myself as a whole! I get that it’s a 10 week challenge, but I can see myself doing this indefinitely! Thank you for being great!!

I’m 3 1/2 weeks in and I’m already noticing big differences. My joints are less stiff, I’m more flexible, my strength has improved, my eating habits have changed, and I’m down 6 pounds on the scale. My job requires me to flex my hours and The Max Challenge makes my routine workouts possible with the choices of 5am-6am-7am-8:15am-9:30am-4:30pm-6pm or 7pm classes. It is unique in the way they make it work for YOU. If you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced you will be instructed on each level for each exercise. Each day is a different adventure! Everyone I’ve met there has been friendly and supportive. A very comfortable environment. The instructors I’ve had include Robin V., Chrissy K., and Marc N. They are encouraging and push you to not give up. They are just what I needed to help me turn back my aging clock!

I have been going to the Max of Hazlet for 8 years!! I love this gym I have never joined a gym before.. I love the instructors they keep you motivated help you in anyway they can. The nutrition program really works when you stick to it. I join this gym to lose weight for my daughter’s wedding and it helped me so much even through covid. Thanks to Marc and Patty for leaving the gym open for us to do it virtual nothing like the Max family. I was a member at the Hazlet Max for about a year and lost around 80lbs. I got pregnant and Covid hit.. it took me awhile to get back into it, 3 years to be exact. I just finished my 10 week challenge and I can’t say enough good things about my trainer Robin V. She is so motivating and pushes me to be my best everyday! I have been going to the Max Challenge of Hazlet since 2018 and it has been life changing! Even when I don’t feel up to working out there is something about it that makes me keep going and I feel guilty when I skip a day. I don’t know where I’d be without it. Best thing I ever did for myself and I’ve never looked and felt so healthy. The trainers are so supportive and welcoming and the environment is upbeat. Seeing many of the same faces year after year means something in a world where most people find it hard to commit to exercise. There are also a lot of new people who join each challenge. If you are like me and need a group environment to motivate you to work out, the Max might be a great fit for you. I love that it’s structured in 10 week challenges, because you can re-commit and set new goals for yourself with every challenge. It’s also good for me that it’s 5 days a week, because then working out becomes part of my daily routine during my work week. There are several class times to choose from so you can fit it into your day, and even live virtual classes if you just can’t get it together to be there in person that day. And the workouts vary every day, so you don’t get bored and you don’t plateau from doing the same workouts over and over. Everyone works at their own pace and strength level so you don’t have to be intimidated or feel like you can’t keep up. Just keep going at your own pace, and with consistency the results will come!

I turned 60 at week 3 of the challenge. It was the best birthday present I could give myself. I attend the morning class. BETTER THAN COFFEE and I love my coffee. It's a great atmosphere aand vibe. I am in week 3 of 10 of the challenge. I look forward to going to class everyday. The classes are high energy and motivating. The instructors always play a great playlist. I love the workouts because you can go at your own pace. In a 45 min class I burn between 400-500 cals and time flies. I look forward to week 10 and seeing my final results! I like the fact that we are constantly moving during the session. There is always an alternate exercise for you. (Eg: pushups off the wall instead of the floor). Being a senior, I like that I can choose to take my classes virtually. Their protein powder has a good flavor and is easy to mix.

I have been a member for a couple of years. I have moved to online since Covid and have continued to enjoy the group aspect of working out. I have the option to do a live in person class, live online class, or a pre recorded class. I have found being accountable to a class to be very helpful. Mark, the owner, as well as all the instructors are very helpful and fun to be around. I never thought I would enjoy a class setting but I was completely wrong. It’s motivating. I’ve never felt so healthy. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

After being a member of many of the local gyms and not being happy , I decided to join the Max of Hazlet with a friendly push from my good friend Robin.
What started as a 10 week challenge back in December ended up to be an ongoing thing. I can honestly say that I do not and never will regret My decision to join the Max after my challenge was over.
The gym and the trainers are so amazing - the people you meet are so helpful and encouraging - it makes working out fun! Plus, one thing I’m really happy with is that Your daily workouts are never the same - Marc switches it up every day so you never know what you’re in for lol.
This was the best decision I have made in a long time. If you are contemplating joining - just do it! I promise you will not regret it!

2014 I was depressed, I couldn’t stop crying I was not feeling good about myself and the way my body looked and felt. I went to a life coach, and she advised me about joining the Maxx fitness for my body and my mind so I did and I’m so glad I did. It’s my time, my 45 minutes every morning before I start my job. I’ve met so many wonderful people there and we have so much fun. We laugh and stretch and exercise and I feel horrible ( like my back stiffens up and I can’t move the way I want to) when I don’t make it to class. It has really helped my body and my mind. It’s the best 45 minutes of my day. When you’re in school you have gym class when you’re out of school it’s up to you to get the exercise you need. This is the best place. It’s like a grown-up gym class.

I love the Max challenge! I have always been an avid gym goer, but would get bored and lose motivation when working out on my own. The Max is like a family and the workouts (though challenging) are fun and ever changing. The trainers are great and really push you to reach your highest potential. My husband and I joined the Max Challenge Hazlet because we desperately wanted to lose weight and get healthy, and hadn't had much success on our own. We're so glad we did! I cannot say enough great things about The Max in Hazlet. Such a warm, inviting and supportive place!! I am challenged every day, in a good way. June will be my 2 year anniversary and we have never done the same workout twice. Our instructors are demanding, funny, consistent and they watch us like hawks to be sure we are executing the exercises correctly and if they spot you struggling, they quickly offer an alternative move that will accommodate any issue you may have. Can you tell that I LOVE The Max???!!! And the nutrition program is amazing. Your own food! They offer recipes, cookbooks and great ideas for Max compliant meals. They offer a meal delivery program too. I tried 5 different meals and was really surprised at how GOOD they were. The Max is the Max!!

The Max Challenge gave me the best results I've had in the shortest amount of time. It's only 45 minutes from start to finish, with weekends off! Within a week a coworker said that I looked like I'd lost weight! And I had! I actually FELT lighter and by the 2nd or 3rd week I had made considerable improvement in my form while exercising and my everyday muscular functionality improved. The Max of Hazlet is an amazing fitness center. The trainers are all friendly, helpful and encouraging. The owners are always accessible, either by being on site, next to you in class or by email. No matter what your fitness level may be walking into The Max of Hazlet you work out to your own pace and sooner than you can believe you are doing all these exercises you didn’t know existed and some you will wish you still had no knowledge of. The nutrition part of this program is super easy to follow and does not leave you feeling hungry. This program is the best. Give it a try you will not regret it.

I have been working out for a long time but never did anything like the Max it’s amazing. I would recommend it for everybody it’s fun and the people are awesome and you can also work out at your own level. They make it so much fun to work out that you look forward to going everyday.

The Max is hardworking, fun, challenging, and worth every second of your time. Every trainer makes you feel so welcomed and they also give their 100%. I wasn’t a fan of the huge mirror in front of you while you were working out, but I now realize why it’s there and it truly is the best thing to have. Every exercise you do and you look up you see yourself! Every time you want to stop and quit, you see yourself! Every time you feel like you got this, you see yourself! That mirror eventually gives you the confidence to keep going.The Max is truly the best program and I recommend it to everyone.

The MAX is a perfect balance of exercise and nutrition guidance. To achieve the " MAX " results both have to be used in conjunction with each other, meaning you have to follow the nutrition program as close as possible, and get to the classes. There are modifications to most exercises so there is no excuse to not be involved.

The Max Challenge is the best thing I've ever done for myself.
Sure, I have belonged to other gyms and went on countless DIETS. That is the keyword here DIET. The Max is not a DIET. It's a LIFESTYLE change which encompasses healthy eating and exercise. The physical results I have seen in myself are amazing. But, how I feel about myself is much more important to me. I've never been so healthy and happy in my life. I feel amazing.
The Max has something for everyone regardless, of age or activity level. No judgement here. As cliché as it might sound we truly are a family. I love my 5:00AM crew.
So if you want to change your life..... Take it to The Max!

If you would have asked me how I felt about myself 11 weeks ago I honestly would not have known how to answer. After 10 short weeks I feel healthier and more confident than I ever have. I thought I was reasonably fit before the MAX. My wife invited me for a “sample class” over a year ago and it changed my life!
