Joining THE MAX Challenge of Hillsborough has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and wellness journey. From day one, I was welcomed by supportive staff and a team of expert instructors who are genuinely committed to helping every member succeed. Jenn, the office manager, is always cheering everyone on, creating such a welcoming vibe. All the instructors are great. Ramsey consistently demonstrates a calm and reassuring presence while knowing precisely when to challenge us to step outside our comfort zones and elevate our levels of intensity. He takes the time to personally greet each member before every session and provides supportive, constructive feedback afterward, fostering both individual growth and a strong sense of community.
The workouts are fun, energizing, motivating, and adaptable to all fitness levels. I’ve seen incredible changes, not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well.

Back again with another review now that I’ve been a member of The Max for over a year and a half. I can honestly say this place has made a huge difference in my life.
I’ve always struggled with my weight and sticking to healthy habits, but The Max has helped me fight thatthrough accountability from coaches who genuinely check in and care, and a nutrition plan that’s actually sustainable. It’s not a crash diet or a quick fix. It works, and you really do see big changes when you commit.
The workouts are fun, challenging, and still totally doable for all fitness levels. And the community is truly unmatched. Everyone supports each other, and it feels like you’re part of something bigger than just a gym.
I can’t recommend The Max enough!

I'm glad I found this program. It's everything I needed and then some. There are many class times and online when you can’t make it in. I love knowing that everyone is part of my community “Hillsborough”. No one is looking at you during class. You’re so focused on yourself. Some people have friends. There’s always new people and legacy members. So it’s a great place for beginners and advanced fitness levels. The trainers are great at modifying to your level or injuries. Again I’m glad I found this place.

The team at Hillsborough have been so supportive through this journey and feel like family already! Been with them for a month now and the level of support and motivation is incredible. Being a new mother it’s easy to fall off the wagon and Jenn makes sure she gives you the push in a gentle way. I recently joined the Hillsborough Max challenge and loving it. The trainers are awesome. I love the variety of exercises targeting different areas of the body plus cardio. Each day is a unique set of exercises which makes it exciting. The nutrition advice too is very helpful. Class timings are very convenient and therefore easy to stick to a good everyday routine. The facility is very clean and spacious. Am glad I found this gym.

I was hesitant about joining the Max but I really needed something to get my butt moving to get in shape. I am NOT a morning person but I am soo motivated I regularly attend the 6am classes! I had great success my first time around with Max. After having a baby and moving, I joined Max of Hillsborough. The gym is great, clean. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. All the instructors make sure they show modifications for all workouts depending on your level. The Facebook page is a great resource for nutritional help, too,

I took a leap and joined the MAX to get healthier. They were so welcoming and so motivating. There are modifications for all workouts if needed and they even have their own nutrition plan. They give you booklets to help you follow the plan. I am so glad I joined and got to know such great people. After just the first week I could really see a difference in my energy level and big difference in my mood. I would definitely recommend attending the MAX and taking on the challenge.

Max has changed my life completely for good! When I walked in for the first time, I was suffering from high cholesterol issues and was overweight! Max helped with a complete nutrition plan through out the 10-week challenge and the whole workout regime is highly effective in targeting the specific mind, body and soul challenges which we fight through in daily life without even knowing. I joined max challenge right before Covid and never tried to go studio in person as there were virtual classes available and pre recorded classes as well. Then had to stop after few months as I couldn’t make time for it. Basically I wasn’t doing a good job planning a better time for doing the exercise. I joined Max again in Feb 2023 for a 5 week challenge and this time in person every day 7 AM class. The whole environment in the studio including the members, instructors, stations, planned exercises for us and most importantly the enthusiasm of every member in the class has been so motivating, that I decided to continue with the membership. I thoroughly enjoy every class with all the exercises planned for us by the instructors. Every instructor here is very nice, and can be reached out to without hesitation to help us with any exercise if we are new to it or not able to follow. Actually instructors are so attentive during the class that they themselves find us if we are not doing right and helps us fix and do the right way. Love MAX!!

I joined the MAX over five years ago after a friend entered me to win a 10 week challenge - which I did. It is more than just your typical “gym”. The instructors use lots of variety and different equipment to keep the workouts fresh. The nutrition plan has lots of ways to help you make healthier choices and see those non scale victories (like lowering my cholesterol). Finally, the MAX claims to have more of a community feel and it truly does. I don’t feel judged or self conscious at all when I work out. The instructors are both motivating and fun while my classmates help keep me accountable and are so supportive when I reach a goal.

The nutrition part goes hand in hand with working out. Most gyms do not include a nutrition portion which makes Max Challenge unique. You also will obtain better results here!

The trainers are awesome and the members are friendly and everyone keeps everyone motivated. I will admit the classes are hard ,& challenging, but that's what it's all about.
