I am half way through my ten week MAX Challenge and I feel amazing! Week 1 was very difficult - I have not done any formal exercise routine, yet every instructor took the time to encourage me and push me not to give up. The Max-Woodbridge is the best fitness community I've ever joined. Staff are professional, down-to-earth, and encouraging. They don't shame you when you fall off track, but rather help you reset and get back to reaching your goals. I joined the Max in 2020 and I've always loved it here. I look forward to coming into class every day and seeing everyone, trainers and all. Everyone is so welcoming, kind, and supportive every step of the way. It truly does feel like a family at the Max. All of the trainers at the Max are absolutely amazing and they are some of the best people you'll ever meet. I joined the max challenge a year and a half ago, and it is one of the best decisions Iβve made for myself since having my 2 kids. The trainers are great, especially Tina A. She and the other trainers will push you to level up. The other people in the class are very supportive and nonjudgmental. The front desk staff make you feel like you joined a new community. Overall, I highly recommend the challenge and staying on after the challenge. Most importantly, I have gotten some of the best fitness results of my life so far and because of the structure of the program, it is the most consistent I have EVER been working out!

The mix of music is perfect and really sets the vibe for an intense workout. Iβve only been here for 5 weeks, but I already feel like part of a positive and uplifting community. I joined the MAX challenge 4 weeks ago and it has been the best thing I could have done for my mental, physical and emotional health. The trainers are awesome! Truly invested in each 45 minute session by switching up the workouts and keeping the entire class engaged. I committed to the 10 week challenge that requires me to work out 5 days a week M-F and with the option of a bonus Saturday class. It is super beginner friendly as everyone goes at their own speed and before you know it you start to challenge yourself and push for more. It naturally becomes a part of daily routine and I never imagined that my uncoordinated and non-active self would adapt. I went from having cold baths with epsom salt for the sore muscles on week one to feeling stronger and stretching out the soreness on week four. Aside from the trainers the community is also incredibly friendly and supportive. They provide nutritional support and guidance as well. I can already see and feel the difference's in my body and routine and I still have a long way to go.

Where do I even begin? As a person who rarely sticks with anything or has tried every fad diet on the planet, this place became of a part of my life from the day I signed up to join. Just what the doctor ordered!! I came across this place on accident. i saw an event for a preview class on facebook. I've spent years trying to loose weight and get in shape on my own with at-home workouts, numerous gym memberships and nothing really stuck. They didnt stick because they didnt have a great support system to keep me motivated, and hold me accountable. The classes at the Max are fun and exciting, never the same!! The trainers are super helpful!! The meal plans they give are maybe a bit challenging at first but the trainers are there to give you recipes and tips to find the right foods that you can find in the stores you're already shopping at. Overall just worth it.

I joined The Max Challenge 2 years ago with a goal of looking good in my wedding dress. The plan was to attend classes up until my wedding (11 months from my start date) and then quit! Having never worked out a day in my life other than the occasional walk, I knew I was going to be in for a βchallengeβ (pun intended). On my first day I thought I was going to die, and that was just from the warmup!! I could not do one sit-up. I was winded and I had trouble walking for the first two weeks. I wanted to quit. But everyday I showed up (and to be honest THAT is really the hard part - waking up everyday at 415am to attend a 5am class). I showed up because the trainers/staff are so incredibly great and encouraging. And then there are the other Max members who support you and are constantly cheering you on when you think you canβt do one more rep of an exercise. And then one day Iβm not winded during the warmup and Iβm doing a full sit up and my joints donβt hurt and my wedding comes and I feel fit and beautiful. I realized I was the most fit I had ever been in my life and it showed not only in my body but in my self-confidence and I knew I could not quit. The Max has become part of my life and the trainers and members part of my family. We push each other, we support each other. Thereβs no other fitness place Iβd rather be!

I had trouble with walking for long periods of time, could barely walk up and down the stairs without pain and my ability to even run was almost impossible! I truly enjoy the Max! I have been to many gyms, but the connection and motivation with the people around you is what I love. The trainers go out of their way to make sure everyone is encouraging each other to do their best. I would like to share with you my wonderful journey at The MAX of Woodbridge. I started the MAX on June 27, 2016. I took this challenge, hoping to change my life for a healthier lifestyle. I took each 10 week challenge and embraced myself for a life healthy change. I was overweight, by 35lbs, I had my share of saddening experiences going on, my Mother dying of Pancreas Cancer, 2 yrs. later my farther diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, I was going thru a horrific, grueling divorce, fighting for my son, because I was a loving and caring mother and wanted to protect my son thru this 6yr battle of testimony, cross-examination, forensic interviews that lasting 4 hours of questioning for 4 weeks. Everything I was going thru in my life took a toll on my mental health/weight and mind, from having 2 loving & caring, supportive parents, to have lost them. I felt lost, and alone and depressed.
But being at the MAX, I was able to regain little by little some focus, get my energy back, smile again and laugh and most importantly eat healthier!!!
I felt the support of my Trainers, the MAX Owner, the members, most importantly, the guidance I was given on nutrition each week by our Trainers was amazing and I stuck to it!! For me, The MAX is my Family, my friends, my support and balance! I have lost 35lbs, and have kept it off, because of the MAX.
What I do luv about the MAX is that each week I was given the proper guidance on nutrition, beyond helpful and the Workouts are Awesome, the music is so energizing, this is not a gym it is a family/friends fitness support for a healthier Life change.
Each day is a different workout, (Mon-Cardio), (Tue-Arm Weights Strengthening Day), (Wed-Cardio), (Thur-Lower body Leg Day), (Friday-Kickboxing). I'm truly thankful for the guidance and support of my MAX Trainers, because they truly care and take the time and effort to guide there members!
This has been and still is truly rewarding for my MAX Journey continues, this is why I wanted to share my wonderful journey experience with you! I am honored to have been asked to Coach and assist our members for their journey. Thankful beyond words to the MAX of Woodbridge.!!!

I LOVE THE MAX CHALLENGE AMAZING PROGRAM ! The Woodbridge location is my favorite ! All the staff keep you on track ! Push you towards and BEYOND your goals ! It is a bit on the pricey side , but ultimately it is worth it if you stick to nutrition and show up and put in the work at class ! TAKE YOUR BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES !

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE! I was unsure how I would feel after doing the 10 weeks but I really enjoyed it! I don't feel judged when working out or overwhelmed. The trainers I deal with are Tiffany & Caitlyn, they are extremely friendly &know what they are doing. They both have no problem helping when your a little lost in certain exercises. The nutrition is hard to get use to but they really set you up to see changes within your body and yourself. The protein powder they sell is the best tasting one I have tried. Very positive environment and clean.I would recommend to try out The Max.

I left the Max after my first 10 week program thinking I could manage the fitness and nutrition on my own. I didn't realize that I was leaving behind the most important part, which is the support of the trainers, the other members and even the owner, Amanda. Five months later was back and enjoying not feeling like a random face at the gym. The MAX Challenge of Woodbridge is well worth the cost.

I LOVE this program. I started off with the 10 week challenge a little over 2 years ago and loved it from day ONE! This program helped me get a head-start on my weight loss. I lost a total of about 35lbs with the assistance of THE MAX. I recently gave birth and have been able to keep my pre-pregnancy weight; of course now I'm back to tone up and can't wait to continue on this journey!

I completed my first 10 week challenge in June 2018 and I was very happy with results. The Strength I built, endurance for high impact workouts was amazing. I really learned to push myself to do more. Teamwork pays off. I'm still a work in progress and I know with The Max I can achieve my goals sooner rather than later.The trainers are full of energy and give all support needed to reach individual goals.

Take it to the Max. I go to this Max when my schedule is tight and I need to go the gym at an earlier time. The trainers are great and I definitely get a great workout here. I love their music. The studio is a little small but it works for me because at the time I go it doesn't get that crowded.

I've been a member of the max challenge franchise since April 2014 when I joined in Shrewsbury when they were under their first ownership. I've worked in over 8 centers. I've Worked out in roughly 25 now. After being involved in this program for 4 years I must say I'm incredibly impressed with the turn Woodbridge has taken since it's new ownership in December. The center has gotten some facial lifts inside creating a beautiful atmosphere and nice new greeting up front. They brought in some new trainers /coaches with great energy, just like all the other locations do as no center can function on 3 trainers. They're also encouraging members who want to instruct to ask, as that's how instructors are found. When their manager HAD to take a leave of absence the trainers worked as a team to make the transition as easy as possible. Amanda, the new owner, spends as much time at the center as possible not just working, but working out and talking and laughing with the the center. She brought back our "Max night out" end of challenge celebration. Amanda the front desk staff and The trainers stay after every single class as long as you need them to answering any and all questions you might have, and sometimes ,even just for a laugh or to try a crazy cool new excersize! I truly feel bad for anyone who had a poor experience, because in my opinion this place breeds positivity, smiles and great results through a staff that's 110% committed to its members.

I completely disagree about the new ownership. I think the new owner is doing an AMAZING job as well as all of the trainers. Since she has taken over the classes have become so much fuller. I always get emails in addition to the Facebook posts. I love it there, and I couldnβt be any happier with everyone there.

Due to management changes, this place is losing its value. The instructors are constantly changing and the new owner is not helping to keep the customers happy. Customer service is something any business strives on and the new owner just doesn't care. I never knew social media is the ONLY way to communicate to your customers because there are no emails now with updated schedules or snow closings, everything is on FB. But guess what not everyone is on FB. Told her several times but goes to dead ears. I am soon going to cancel the memberships and either go to another max location or a new gym. Waiting on till June. But losing Marilou will be a huge loss for this location, she is an amazing instructor and very warm personality, she brings people in and keeps them, I don't know if the new owner is capable of the same.
