I have been seeing Suzanne regularly, for privates and class, for two months now. The changes in my body and mind are remarkable. I move with ease and efficiency and can do things I never thought I would be able to. This has been the best investment I have made in my self and my health!!

After my first yoga class with Suzanne five years ago, I knew immediately there was something special about her teaching. She made me so aware of my body, of my habits and how I could move into poses without straining. After learning of my injured rotator cuffs, she offered me an honest assessment of how they could heal naturally, and how to manage my expectations once healed. She was spot on, from length of time to heal, to expected mobility.
I’ve also experienced Suzanne’s Feldenkrais table sessions and ATM classes. They both have helped me feel and move better, and have helped heal chronic hip pain. I brought my mother (who is in her mid-80s) for a session as she was having trouble with her knees. By the end of the session, my mother was not only pain-free, but was walking better. I couldn’t believe that such small (Feldenkrais) movements could make such enormous differences throughout the whole body.
What I love best about Suzanne is her clarity--she is able to communicate clearly whether verbally or through touch--so that I always end up feeling that my body is moving in a more harmonious way.

Suzanne has been my personal Yoga/Feldenkrais instructor for over two years. I have always been very active even in my golden years at 66. Her focused instruction and close attention to my skeletal structure has allowed me to make substantial gains in improving my everyday balance as I walk through NYC and Hoboken dodging all the hazards. She has developed a personalized routine for me starting with breathing exercises (always sensing my breath as you do in yoga), slowly moving to work on my spine, ribs, ankles and even my sphincter muscles (just to mention a few), we often wrap up with exercises on the "core" performing postures like up-dog, down-dog, planks and bridges. All of that is accomplished in a 1-hour session with a commitment to practice at home before our next session.

After trying everything I can think of - from physical therapy to acupuncture, I went for a private session with Suzanne to see if the Feldenkrais method could help me with my neck and back pain. She diagnosed my issues and customized our private sessions to give me tools to deal with stress and tension that caused these. I also found that her "magic" touch substantially improved my posture. We continue to meet every second week for private sessions and I highly recommend her to my friends and colleagues who may benefit from her therapy and her magic touch.

As a result of work In Suzanne's Yoga and Feldenkrais sessions, I have experienced significant relief in two long-standing neurological conditions (a sciatic nerve problem and a tremor). Most recently, after a series of small improvements over a number of months, Suzanne helped me achieve a sudden major realignment of my left hip joint, resulting in a sudden big change in my gait. As a result of her experience in teaching yoga and her knowledge of the Feldenkrais method, Suzanne has a profound feel for body alignment and movement. She is very hands-on and always a pleasure to work with.

I have been working with Suzanne for over a year. I am very grateful that I was put in touch with such a caring and professional person. I have a difficult condition and Suzanne keeps thinking of ways she can help me. Added to which the Feldenkrais method is endlessly fascinating.

After trying all sorts of exercises, stretching practices and other physical activities to help relieve my chronic back troubles, my wife introduced me to Suzanne’s Feldenkrais class. The immediate positive results were remarkable. After one hour, I walked out the door feeling taller. Parts of my body, which were compressed and linked together in tension, had space to relax and move independently in more fluid motion. Most importantly, I walked out of the class with a different perspective of my body and with new exercises to think about when I felt my muscles seizing up again. I’ve been to many classes since and have many more tools to work with. Suzanne’s lessons on Feldenkrais have become an important part of every movement as I go through my day.

As a beginner I was searching for small, personalized yoga classes and Suzanne turned out to be the perfect teacher. She gives careful, individual attention. The Feldenkrais method that informs her teaching is a great bonus, a no-nonsense and thoughtful approach to gaining strength and flexibility. I started with several private lessons before easing into regular classes. Every class is different but builds on previous lessons, and is always interesting and engaging. She is also one of the few practitioners in town who offers convenient mid-morning classes (no 6am yoga for me!)

Receiving a Feldenkrais session with Suzanne is like getting a new body each time! In sessions with her I discover more comfort in my physical body as well as more ease in how I breathe. As someone who values feeling great on all levels- physical, mental and emotional- her work is a significant contribution to my feeling continually better in life.

I have taken classes with Suzanne for years and know first hand how she helps her students connect with their bodies and improve their lives. She is patient, caring and super smart. She will work with you to uncover issues that hinder your movement and your life. I find her one-on-one Feldenkrais table sessions to be more relaxing and long-lasting than a massage, and her small classes are challenging without being intimidating.
