Dave's training has completely eliminated my pain and helped me in recovering from an overuse injury that I didn't believe I would be able to come back from.
When I began working with Dave in January 2025, I had been suffering through an overuse injury in my knee as well as hip alignment issues that were causing SI pain for more than a year and a half. My pain had become progressively more intense, and there were bouts of time when I couldn't easily walk up and down stairs in my home or sit to drive. I had attempted PT a few other times as well as chiropractic support and acupuncture, but nothing seemed to alleviate my pain. I am a very active person, coaching a sport and exercising daily, so I was also mentally defeated by how my physical abilities had declined during this period of time. I had lost the sense for how my body moved and exercising had become a source of stress for me.
My goal when I signed up to work with Dave was to reduce the amount of pain I felt so that I could better muscle through my workouts and daily life. Dave gave me way more than that, and I am truly grateful to him.
After three months of training, the pain in my knee and SI joint were generally resolved, I had made good progress on my alignment issues, and my body awareness had returned. Six months later, I am finished with my programming, am pain free, and have returned to my usual exercise schedule with a better sense of how I can continue to move in a way that works for my body (while still meeting my fitness goals). I could not recommend Dave more: he's organized, intentional, and supportive. He really has helped give me important parts of my life back.

I am an avid golfer and really thought I would have to stop playing about two years ago. Someone told me about David and suggested he might be able to help. After about six weeks, I started to feel a big improvement and after three months, I was mostly pain-free. With his help and expertise,
my flexibility and strength has improved dramatically, andI am playing as much golf as I want now with no pain. I have always had back pain and then in 2024 I was debilitated with gluteal tendinopathy. I am an avid golfer. I started working out with Dave in October 2024. He has given me so much more flexibility and strength. I am one to do my homework. I am now pain free, my golf game improved ,and so much stronger. Dave is very knowledgeable in the body and nutrition. He is very professional and a pleasure to work out with. I am so impressed with him.

I started working with Dave back in November of 2022 with my main issues being having lower back pain (from too much sitting in an office job) and struggling with stiffness in my left shoulder following a 2nd shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff and torn bicep tendon. I also love to golf and have been frustrated by regressing in my golf game rather than improving over the past 6-8 years.
My goals in working with Dave were to enable my body to allow for golf in consecutive days if not even more frequently and to stop being afraid to reinjure my shoulder. He has pushed me and developed different workout plans to strengthen my core and shoulder while seriously improving my flexibility.
I cannot speak any higher about Dave and his diligence and commitment to excellence. I am blown away by how much I have accomplished in 9 months and now have him working with my 16 year old who is a 4 handicapper as a Junior in High School. I already signed up for my next year with him too!
Lastly, my handicap has gone from a 13.2 closing up in 2022 to now an 8.6. I am truly excited to see where I am headed and recommend all of my friends and golf fans to work with Dave and Movement & Mobilizations.

Working with Dave was absolutely the best thing for me. Overweight and out of shape was becoming a struggle for me. He was so kind, encouraging, and nonjudgmental throughout our time together. I came to him looking for a fresh kick start back to health. I personally enjoyed the fact he was honest about his skillset, service, and expectations. He worked with my schedule and I love that he is one that still takes great pride in his beliefs about the human body. I started out with foot and back pain and within 3 weeks it was gone and going away! I’ve been going to Dave for the past 3 months now and my experience has been amazing. My favorite part of his training style is his holistic approach to fitness and attention to detail. During a private training session you can expect direct 1:1 attention the entire time, while he shows the right way to move your body through a movement/ range of motion while correcting any imbalances/poor form you may have, in a positive and energetic way. Also, during each session, he goes over a lifestyle lesson (proper diet, sleep, nutrition) that is not overwhelming and easy to understand and not bias (doesn’t try to sell you any products/supplements) Plan on continuing training with Dave going forward even tho the drive is 1hr 15min each way it well worth it. Don’t waste your time with commercial gym personal trainers.

I have struggled with mobility and strength with certain parts of my body from a number of injuries in my life. Dave works with you individually to fix the issues you actually have pertaining to your body instead of giving you a standard workout plan. Everything is catered to you personally. He is incredibly knowledgeable and understanding, making it so easy to work with. I have gained so much from working with Dave, not just with improvements to my golf game, but also with how my body feels and performs. As a golf professional, I see people all the time asking to fix their swings, but they do not understand that they are incapable of performing certain movements because their body will not allow it. Working with Dave is just a beneficial as seeing a golf pro for your swing. You really need to do both of you want to unlock your potential. Go see Dave immediately!

Don’t waste money on a new driver, invest it with Dave! I saw 20-30 more yards off the tee in three months working with Dave. My flexibility and speed is the best it’s ever been. Dave is an excellent teacher with an ability to explain complex body movements in simple language. If you are willing to work, Dave is the partner to take your game to the next level. Dave has been a great partner to help me hit my fitness goals. Working with Dave has been amazing, and has far surpassed my expectations. I loved sports as a kid, but since going to university, I've always struggled with injuries. When I started working as a fisherman and needed to get stronger, I asked Dave for help. I was sick of walking on eggshells.
When we started working together, Dave showed me areas I needed to work on, which was really eye-opening. (It's this kind of analysis that makes Dave so invaluable - he'll see what you can't). He designed a routine to activate and strengthen my glutes. Now, my hamstring issues are a thing in the past. It's incredible to be able to work and lift knowing that I'm not going to injure myself.
One of the best things about working with Dave is peace of mind. I know that if there's a body part that's bothering me, I can ask Dave for advice during the session for short and long-term solutions. As someone who depends on moving and lifting for work, that's priceless.
My only regret is not finding a functional movement coach sooner, as it would've saved me years of frustration in and out of the gym. If you're sitting on the fence about booking a session, trust me - you won't look back.

I found Dave because I was specifically looking for someone who specializes in "functional mobility." I wanted someone to guide me in how to move my body properly through my workouts and life, so I can prevent injuries and keeping living life well. Enter Dave and his facility, Movement & Mobilizations - honestly it was exactly what I was looking for & has exceeded my expectations. Dave is the bomb! If you have Ever suffered any type of injury and/or are limited to your mobile aspects in life Please contact Dave immediately He will help you get back to your normal state as he did with my torn ACL and broken collarbone I have suffered multiple injuries with numerous amounts of scar tissue Davis walk me through the process of understanding my body and things that I can do to help prevent pain on a day-to-day basis in order to help me throughout the rest of my life. give him a try for at least a month and I guarantee will come back like I do thank you again Dave

My husband found David after Googling for "golf fitness". He had a significant tear in his rotator cuff and required rotator cuff surgery. He went through all of the PT that was offered but still had stiffness concerning his golf swing and game. My husband started with David and he has helped him increase his drive by 10% (a significant increase for any golfer!). His agility and flexibility has improved overall. David listens and has tailored his workouts to his goal of improving his golf game and flexibility overall. Being a average older male with bad exercise and eating habits ,i was always having aches and pains even when i didn't remember doing anything to cause it. I was recommended to call dave the owner of movement and mobilizations saying he was very good getting people in shape and working at the customers pace. He watched how i did everyday movements like bending and just plain walking to see if i had any bad habits and sure enough he saw things right away and started showing me simple execerises to correct my bad habits and within 2 weeks i was seeing the difference in my hip and knees ,they were not hurting and felt more flexable trying to do my normal everyday routines. Dave is a very polite but motivated instructor who takes your health and well being to heart and will definitely help you with your body movement issues!

before i started working with Dave I was clueless. While I tried to remain in good shape , i just wasn't in the shape that I wanted to be in. I was referred to Dave by the staff at Evolve Fitness and making the choice to get in contact with him and start working with him the best decision I made. Before we began any training he did a few basic "tests" to see where i was and how my body moved. He clearly explained what he wanted me to do and then explained why he wanted me to do it. He took his time and was always attentive and really motivational. It you would have told me in the beginning that I would be picking up over 1,000 lbs in total in a few circuits I would have laughed. Or if you told me Id be close to doing a pull up on my own I would have laughed (still do sometimes). Dave was also very understanding and easy to work with if there was ever a time I couldn't make it in. He listens to you and not only understands your goals, but he makes them his goals as well. Over the few months of working with Dave I have felt great! Not only mentally but also physically. I can't wait for the Corona lock down to be lifted so we can get back at it!

Dave has been a huge help for me for decreasing pain and improving performance both in and out of the gym. After a few sessions I was back deadlifting over 500lbs pain free which hadnt been pain free for months. He helped incorporate some techniques for me to use during a very busy workday that has helped keep me loose despite my job requiring a pretty fixed position. This certainly translates to better gym performance in combination with the warm up he provided, but most importantly just overall feeling better. He's well worth the time and is inexpensive for the results that he provides.

Movement & Mobilizations is improving my life! I have been active my whole life and have a regular yoga practice and work in a physical job in a restaurant. However, I kept hurting myself but now I am learning proper body organizing and I have been given exercises and tools to help turn on the little muscles that I don’t use so I can protect my shoulders and back.
