This place is overrated. The space is cool and the instructors are sweet but the scripted class they follow is just pointless and doesn't teach your child anything or engage them in any way. Open play is better but there are limited options for that. The afternoon class I was able to go to was small and it was not worth it for us if my daughter couldn't be around other kids at the very least. So we cancelled. The one star isn't for the class itself though. My gym charged me for another month that we were not aware of since they require 4 weeks notice for cancellations. What a scam. Just hoping other parents can avoid the same situation.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with this location! Having attended a few birthday parties, camps, and special events here we can confidently say—they’re the best! The coaches are super attentive and warm, and the space is great! Lots of different activities and large room for different games. Our toddler loves it here!

My son loves his Mygym! Especially Ms. Dana and Ms. Tatiana. They are wonderful with kids and so energetic. Love the weekly change in all the activities and layout. Also love the structure of the program.

I had my son’s 2nd birthday party at My Gym Hoboken and had such a wonderful experience at the gym with our friends and family! They went above and beyond to make sure my little one was the star of the show and his friends all had the best time celebrating. They completely set up and cleaned up everything and by the time we were ready to go, all of my belongings were packed up. The party was a breeze and I will definitely have another party here and recommend others too. We also attend classes at the gym weekly with the unlimited access to classes. There are not many places in the area that have an after school/daycare program for 2s, so having the gym space available as often as we do, is super convenient for my little one who’s needs to run his energy out. It also allows both of us to attend classes together and socialize with friends. The staffers are always so nice and welcoming and we are very happy with this gym space!

Wonderful staff!! My daughter 3 and 6 months old loves it every minute of it! I wish I knew about it earlier! The best value, new classes, music, gym stations, skills, puppet show, different every week! So much to learn from it! We love it!

I take care of a special child and twice a week I bring him to My Gym and the place, the environment and above all the teachers are very good... friendly and make the classes very fun for the children... 100% recommended

This is a really great place to take your little ones to get involved. They have many different stations for playing and teach them important motor skills. They have a variety of classes for different age groups. Ms. Tatiana brings a wonderful energy to the room. She is very involved with making sure every child is having fun and learning. The whole staff does a great job to make it a very inviting atmosphere.

My son does not enjoy this place. They first double charged us and then when we requested for cancellation. They told me us they require at least four week notice but I still have pay full month membership fee for next month instead of pro rated for 4 week service.

My granddaughter always has a great time at My Gym Hoboken. She especially loves the activities with Miss Tatiana and Miss Kyah. I love that I can participate along with the children. The weekly activities are always new and just challenging enough to keep them fun!

My son did gymnastics here for a while and we absolutely loved it. The staff is professional, fun with the kids and they really help them grow and develop. They always tried to cater to all of the different needs and abilities in the room which was appreciated. If you’re considering gymnastics, ninja or anything similar for your child I highly recommend Hoboken My Gym. We will for sure return when my 2 year old daughter gets a little older.

My Gym" was exactly what we were looking for in an after school activity: safe, supportive and fun. She loves the challenges in gymnastics and Ninja classes. My daughter always begs to stay for the open gym session to check out all the equipment with her new friends. It is so amazing to see her confidence grow. Very happy with "My Gym."

Thank you for organizing 3rd birthday party for our son. He and his little friends had fantastic time and parents had a lot of fun too. The Staff did amazing job and all our guests were impressed. There was a lot of activities and games for kids, they were kept occupied all the time. We had 2 hours party, which was just right. I highly recommend it!

I LOVE this place. My two children have been a member for 1.5 years. I have seen such an improvement with their mobility, following instructions and overcoming their fears. The staff is always friendly we especially LOVE 😍 Mr. Josh! He’s such burst energy and a ray of light. My kids love him! I have also discovered my child is into gymnastics from these classes.... so happy to have found a place that my kids love!

The cancellation policy for me has not been an issue. They have always honored there policy with us. We have NEVER had an issue. I believe at one point I saw signs in the gym “requesting 24 hour notice to sign up for a make-up class” I assume parents were just showing up with their children thinking they could just walk in.

Terrible cancellation policy! They make up their own rules around fees, policies, etc. AND our son got severely sick, our pediatrician said it was most likely from the plastic balls. Stay away from this place, avoid it! It’s a waste of time and money.

Simply a nightmare. I was wrongfully charged (billed twice days apart) and it took multiple visits and voicemails to get the refund over a month later. During the conversations in the past weeks with the trainers (who double as office staff) i comminicated that i wanted to cancel the membership due to the untimelyness of my refund. Just 2 days ago i was charged again for December 25 days after informing them of my cancellation. Of course i brought the charge to their attention and was informed for the first time that i need fill out a cancellation request form and i would not recieve a refund, stuck paying for a month that my daughter will not be participating in. Disputing the Charge with my CC.

One issue is the cancellation policy. One other problem we had back in 2016 was that a couple of staff appear to be judgmental/unfriendly towards my son at the time. My son, then only 3 year old, who might have been going through emotional phrases at the time, was not participating and didn't respond to questions. They showed their displeasure very obviously on their face. My son refused to go to my gym Hoboken after 2 classes. I attempted to cancel and had to pay $115 something for the remaining session. I am not sure if these staff are still there and I hope things are better these days.

As others mentioned, their cancellation process is specifically designed to get at least one or more extra payments of $115, beyond the 12 week commitment. If you want to freeze - the freeze takes 30 days to process (there's no reason for it to take this long other than to continue to bill you), and if you want to cancel - they require that you make at least one more payment before canceling. Really?! This gym is harder to quit than adult gym.

And you lose all your make-up classes if you cancel - even though they've already been paid for.

My kid got sick after every class so even though he liked it (that's why it's not a one-star review), I am pulling him out during the flu season and they are literally making it impossible for me to use any of his make-up classes.

I've been trying to get a hold of the owner for days now without any luck. Employees have been responsive.

My wife has been trying to cancel for sometime now (2 month) they billed those two month. It was a battle to get them to cancel the Autopay. There is another hurdle to get the refund for October. Keep in mind my daughter hasn't attended since mid August.... we still have sessions because they keep billing.

Horrible cancellation Policy! We moved and were no linger in the area to attend classes and in their policy they require you pay for 4 more additional classes even if you have MOVED out of the area and cannot attend.
