We had my son’s 2nd birthday party at MyGym and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff handled everything from start to finish, which made the day so easy for us — all I had to bring was the cake!

The games and activities were perfectly tailored to toddlers, and every single one happened to be something my son loves. The instructors kept the kids engaged, laughing, and moving, and all of our guests had a blast.

The space was clean, organized, and totally stress-free. If you’re looking for a fun, well-run place to host a little one’s birthday, I can’t recommend MyGym enough!

Great experience doing 3yo birthday party here. The staff handles setup and activities so it’s a very easy party for parents. They did a great job keeping the kids engaged and making it special for the birthday girl. 90 minutes turned out to be the perfect amount of time for this age group. Highly recommend!

Reducing my stars from 3 to 1. The company mandates parents to have MyGym grip socks. Feels like a price grab. They charged me for two pairs already. And the one time I forgot because I didn’t have my car, they asked to buy a new pair. My kid is wearing grip socks. To me, grip socks are grip socks. My Gym, stop trying to nickel and dime parents on non common sense rules.

Everyone in the staff is really nice and my kid enjoys his time there. God forbid if one needs to cancel membership, their policies are unnecessary complicated, not a good customer experience and feels like the company is trying to squeeze every last dime out of you. Cancellation shouldn’t feel like jumping through hoops and leave a bad taste. Staff does their best to accommodate but it’s still a frustrating experience. Not going back just because of a messy cancellation process.

I am so grateful to have a place like MyGym to keep my very active and friendly 1.5 year old happy! There is not a time he is not smiling while at MyGym. Everything is clean, there are so many kid friendly events, and the staff is sweet and friendly. This is a definitely a place I recommend constantly! I also love the staff! All the teachers are great and Sabrina is always ready to go above and beyond!

I had an amazing experience at My Gym this past Saturday, it was my daughter’s 9 year old birthday party. We had 26 kids invited, plus the parents. Everyone was well greeted from the time they arrived. Kids was getting inside the Gym upon arrival and started to play, until the rest of the guests arrived. Once everyone was inside the staff, started to entertain the kids with a lots of great games and challenges for the kids.
My party was a Hour and a half, the first full hour was a non stop playing. Then the last half hour it’s was having an amazing Pizza that everyone enjoyed and was asking where do they order that pizza from.
Then we all wish my daughter a Happy Birthday, helping her blowing up those candles . My Gym provided the goody bags, included in the package !
All my guests was asking information on how to book a party for their own kids.
I highly recommend this place for your kids party or even to join the place
I know they have 3 locations, Edgewater, Hoboken, Jersey City !

Had a fantastic experience organizing my kid's birthday party at My Gym River Road! It was perfect in every way possible, the location, parking space, organized games for kids, and a well-lit spacious clean and safe play area. Couldn't be more happy and all the parents who came were super impressed! The kiddie zipliner was a hit, kids loved it. The folks at My Gym were also super friendly and kind and made the occasion a memorable one. Would highly recommend!!!

Class is Not so easy, Not so difficult.
My daughter asks to go there everyday.

And after class, my daughter has meal a lot and sleep very well.

We love MyGym! My little one started going at 9 months, and almost went daily between when he was between 11 and 15 months, before he started daycare. We still go on weekends, and MyGym remained one of his favorite places, where he gets a good workout, while mommy and daddy get to socialize with other parents.

The classes are arranged in the same order (roughly welcome and circle time, dance, practice skills, swings, independent time, puppet show/song, closing, etc) but contents change every week. The instructors are nice and caring. My little one almost learnt to walk by watching other kids. The experience also prepared him for daycare, an environment where he had to share space/toys with other kids. In some way, we think going to MyGym helped to shape his personality.

We had so many fun memories, and will continue to go whenever possible. Thank you, MyGym!

The best place for party! I organized my daughter’s 3rd bday party at MyGym the past weekend, it is amazing.
The stuffs are very helpful, they help setup the venue(if you want a theme you can choose that), they organized playing sessions for kids. All the kids attending the party LOVE it.
I highly recommend to people if you want to organize events here. Please do remember adults need to wear socks inside the playroom.

We had a party here and it was great! They drew our child's name on the wall. They helped us bring in the food and helped set up. The staff is super attentive and just awesome. For example... We had a friend who couldn't join us because they all got sick but they came and dropped off the gift. I can't remember their name (I wanna say Kim?) Fixed up a box with food for them to take home. She asked how many were in the family and she took care of packing up the food. Just awesome. The kids had a great time. And the parents had a great time too. A lot of activities to do and it's very comfy.

I feel bad for the instructors, they are at no fault BUT: the membership option at My Gym is by far the worst ever. You have to cancel with a month in advance and you still are OBLIGATED to pay for the following month and it does not matter if you are unable to take your kid! There is an additional fee that I haven’t been able to figure out why because when you call this place they never pick up the phone or return your calls no matter how many. The monthly membership goes for $179, if you do the math, you could take your kid to play at TGSPLAY where an hour of play costs $17.99 and where there are lots and lots of props for kids all ages. I don’t think that charging a customer another month after cancelling is good for business. I am very disappointed

We hosted my son’s 3rd birthday party here at River Road which was his first true party as a pandemic baby. What a HIGH we were all on for days thinking about how much fun the kids AND parents had together. The staff made him feel so, so very special while also including everyone in a thrilling and seamless fun ride. Sabrina is a wizard with kids…I mean, she is born for weaving magic out of otherwise chaotic kiddos. She knew all of their names after one pass around the room and championed them along with us parents the entire time. We all giggled and cheered and got such a rush seeing our pandemic kiddos enjoy the best kind of birthday party. The food service and set up was fantastic and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I’m so grateful for this fun memory and wish I could share all of the photos but here are a couple!

Don't do the membership for this location. They are nice when you first join but not very friendly or cooperative when you try to pause or cancel the membership. Once you request for membership cancellation, they won't even call you back (while you are still a member of the gym). Also, the new teachers are horrible this year. They ask parents to stay outside of the classroom but they can't handle or manage all the kids. Also, I had experience weekday classes got cancelled without notice few times. We found out the class got cancelled when we were already at the gym. very unprofessional admin and staffs.

The facility is spacious and extremely sanitary. I like how they disinfect everything before and after each class. I’ve actually watched them do it and it is quite thorough. My son has also vastly improved his core strength and coordination since attending. But most importantly, he is more confident. Their birthday parties are also always a hit.

We just hosted my son’s 4th birthday at My Gym River Road. It was an amazing experience. All the kids had so much fun. Mr. Keivonte and Mr. Eddie were so great with the kids and made sure they had the best time. We had a Superhero themed party and all the activities were Superhero related. I will recommend My Gym River Road to all my friends.

I've only taken my 6 month old here twice, but so far we are loving it! I was a bit skeptical reading some of the bad reviews, but the experience has been great. Yes, they are teenagers that work there, but they have been nothing but helpful, friendly and engaged. Shout out to Ms. Melina (spelling?). Her energy is amazing and she hustles during the Tiny Tykes class running around.!!!

I have been taking my kiddo here since she was 3months! We absolutely love it. Between the amazing staff and great variety class to class, it’s the place to have near by with any kids. It has saved us during many rainy and snow days from losing our marbles at home. We now do ballet as well, it just has it all.

I like the place I like the people teaching the classes there as well. It was a little hard finding the parking lot for me because I saw so many of my gym signs in two different parking lots. One was a flag and the other was on the wall of the rehabilitation building. Other than that my son and I loved mygym classes :)

This is the first time in my live reviewing a business, but I feel that I have to do it. I took my 3yo for a free trial today and we both loved it. The first thing I mentioned to the staff was that my daughter is autistic. She has a lot of energy and can't stay still for too long, but they still had the patience and dedication with her. I don't remember the name of the girl, but between her and Mr. Jose made me feel that I did a great choice registering my LO on this location. Thank you guys!!
