I am beyond thrilled with the incredible experience my 5 year old is having at North Stars.

A huge part of my gymnast’s story is Coach Shenice. She has been absolutely phenomenal in developing my child’s skills and confidence. In just a short time, she has managed to shape my little one into a competitive gymnast, pushing her while maintaining a fun and supportive environment.

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for all the coaches. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, my daughter has been able to excel at such a young age, and we’re excited to see her continued growth. This past year, she competed in Level 3 thanks to her amazing coach, Shenice. I wish I can give zero rating or less.

The staff is never cooperative, no one is ever available to talk to when you go there. They have over charged our account and neglected to refund even after asking for several months.
Recently they have canceled classes and no makeup tokens were issued which can actually be useful. When asked they diverted to the new protocol after the tokens are expired and no one cares. Their service has been awful recently. We have lost over 6 classes in 4 months.

There is one instructor with over 8 kids and no one is paying attention to what the kids are learning. We have wasted over a year and I would never recommend this school to anyone.

Lastly, when our credit card was changed we forgot to update the portal last week and while talking to the management they have removed the kid from the school and they gave the spot to someone else.

I hope no one experiences this or goes through this. If anyone wants to join their kid I would say look elsewhere for a school who actually cares for your kid than the fee you pay.

North stars gymnastics academy is a very awesome place to go and train. All the coaches are super nice and supportive. They also like to make funny jokes to make everyone laugh. As a gymnast at North stars, I absolutely love the coach and the fun activities and ways they teach to do new tricks or way to get better on trick you are having trouble with. I would recommend North stars gymnastics academy if you're looking for a gymnastics gym to go!

Not sure about their regular stuff, but they don't know how to run a meet.

$15 admission is the highest ever and you get nothing special. And that's over 5yr old price.

They overlap awards and warm ups. The awards, you can't hear anything because they keep the music going for warm ups.

Awards are all the way in the back behind a net. The kids look like caged animals. You can't get a good picture of the kids accomplishments.

No special intros, no balloons. Medals are a generic 'star' with no event name on it. It's like they ordered 10,000 of them and just reuse for any reason.

Prob the worst meet we have been to ever even compared to smaller gyms. I wish we didn't have to be back there but we don't make decisions for meets.

There are other gyms available that have great owners and talented coaches that combine toughness with compassion and common sense safety standards.
North Stars has none of these qualities and their coaching style boarders on abusive and is most certainly dangerous.
Do your due diligence and trust your parental instincts before you sign up your child.

This is a real gymnastics studio. They are really here to train, work out, and take steps to really learn gymnastics. My daughter absolutely loves it. I love the discipline and the work ethics she is learning here.

Great training if you want to learn gymnastics the correct way. The coaches are just the right amount of tough and fun. Lots of positive affirmations along with corrections.

If you are serious in having your daughter pursue gymnastics, they will provide one of the best training, support, home schooling, and life training (strictness as if their own kids) in the country.
