Been a member at OTF for nearly 8 years. While the workouts are great, this studio has issues. What I like, and what keeps me a member, is that the training is effective, fun, and never duplicates. However, I've been attending this location since I moved 2 years ago and it has obvious space issues. If you are on benches 6, 7, 8 or 12 or you'll be squished into a corner with no room to work. I've bumped elbows with my neighbor on the rowers and today another member jumped and landed on my foot/ankle. Safety should be a MUCH bigger priority and today's class should have been run as a 3g of only to spread folks out. Beyond that, I personally think the trainers should be giving more feedback on my form, again, so I don't get injured. But after 8 years maybe my form is ok?

They are just a mess... will cancel very soon.
They cant accommodate if you join 1 min late but they can run the place as a total mess canceling classes left and right, dirty studio, lack of classes during long periods of the day.. rude staff..

What I really like about this branch is that they offer a good number of total strength classes compared to others. However, due to staff shortages, the frequency of the classes has been lower which is the downside . One suggestion would be to consider adding weights that feel softer on the hands, similar to what the West Windsor location provides. That said, unlike this branch, West Windsor doesnβt offer as many strength training sessions overall. But overall great people and great place

I started with OTF in around June of 2024 and it was one of my best decisions I've ever made. Prioritizing my health became such a big part of me and this place makes it so much fun to workout and the app is so helpful to keep track of your progress with every class taken.The front staff and the coaches are all such amazing people who always make you feel so welcomed every time you walk in. OrangeTheory is what you need to finally improve your health and fitness! Going to a few classes a week has greatly increased my energy and sharpness, improving my personal and professional life. The most valuable part of these workouts is understanding heart rate ranges and efforts. For years I was at a plateau at the gym, my body mass not changing and my workouts not increasing much in intensity. OrangeTheory helped me learn what it feels like to really "push" myself - backed by their heart monitoring technology and observant coaches. Results followed, with a reduction in BMI and improved running performance. The membership fee - larger than your average gym - is well worth the effectiveness of the program. Plus, when you are paying bottom dollar for a gym, it's easy to not go that often, or to hit a plateau.
The staff at this location are exceptionally friendly and professional. Noelle, Sammy, and Christine at the front desk are the best and are 100% focused on customer satisfaction. The coaches I've worked with are great and all bring their own flare to the experience; Jenna, Derek, Ryan, Mike, Alicia, and Asher. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Update: the owner suggested I send an email to the studio manager, which I did and received no response. My experience here was I left them my heart rate monitor to charge, they lost it, refused to replace it, and were unbelievably rude about it. So they stole my property and mistreated me. The manager told me he had no boss and there was no one he answered to, so I have no recourse at all. I'd be careful - they stole my property.
Orangetheory in general is great but the Princeton management are a nightmare. The heart rate monitors routinely malfunction or die, and they are supposed to replace them. The management here used the fact that mine died previously to deny me a new one, trying to charge me again, effectively stealing over $120 from me, though I'd been a customer for years. You should definitely choose a different location.

Iβve been a member here for over 5 years and Iβve seen many changes but one constant is the enthusiastic, friendly and caring front desk staff and coaches! Iβm always greeted with smiles and friendly banter. The workouts are always challenging and fun. The coaches are knowledgeable and push you to run faster, lift heavier and row with more power. The βtheoryβ or βscienceβ works. I am much stronger and healthier than before OTF. As far as weight loss/bodyfat, we all know that mainly happens in the kitchen lol. The new management is absolutely terrible, abrasive, rude, condescending, and unhelpful; I've heard they treat the employees even worse than the clients. They have been hemorrhaging front desk staff and coaches. The studio is routinely filthy. I've been to Orangetheory locations all over the country and enjoy the workout, but if customer service, friendliness, or cleanliness matter to you, you should definitely avoid the Princeton location.

I was originally hesitant to sign up but so far i have been going for 2 months and my experience was great. The price is similar (or even cheaper) than a lot of the gyms in the area but the value is huge. The staff is always enthusiastic and encouraging and help improve the overall experience. If you havenβt tried the orange theory system, i found that it is really good to hell get in shape and i feel really good after every work out. As someone who went from couch to 5 mile plus runs 4 times in my life through interval training i found that this system (which utilizes your heart rate to roughly measure effort) is more effective than unassisted training using apps like (couch 2 5k/10k). Itβs also not a pure cardio fitness routine, there are also mixed sessions and strength only sessions.

The trainers and staff themselves are helpful and wonderful but its the harsh corporate policies that make me not want to continue OT. OT is advertised to work with the watch which we have to rent or buy but half the time the watches dont even work or connect to the equipment. Going back and forth to the front desk to fix this cuts in on my workout time so its kind of a rip off. Remaining classes we pay for with our money do not roll over. Also some older lady from corporate was giving me a hard time about asking for a watch? The only reason why i like OT is because of the local staff/trainers themselves who make the workout worth it

Despite not liking loud music, group settings, and what could be seen as a chaotic rotation of equipment, I actually ended up loving Orangetheory. The trainers were fun. They really did try and engage you the moment you walked in, and I felt welcomed. I gave it 3 months, maybe 4, and stopped because I honestly didn't lose any weight. Maybe I gained muscle, I don't know. I didn't see a noticeable change and couldn't justify the money.
If I could change one thing... i wish you could reserve your spot # on the app. It was a challenge at times getting there in enough time to get a spot where I could see the TV so I knew what to do. I don't wear contacts - perhaps I should as it would have solved my problem.

I have been a runner for a long time but I never really focused much on body strength. Part of the reason could be because I wanted to understand more on the technique regarding weightlifting etc and I wasn't sure what would be the right place. It has been more than 3 - 4 months now and honestly I feel that this is one of the best investments I made for myself. The coaches are great, the music is great, people at the reception are great, the app is wonderful etc. I honestly don't have any complaints. There are multiple pricing options and you can sign up for anything that suits your schedule. I was so impressed with the studio that I searched online if Orangetheory was a public company, so that I could buy some stock. Unfortunately, it isn't.

After 3 months I lost over 30lbs ( going 6 days a week ) I love the trainers and the staff however I think they should have later hours during the week - for instance an 8pm class - the area is filled with commuters who work in NYC/Philadelphia and having a class at this time I feel would get more people to join / come more often. Nancy and Brian are by far one of my favorite trainers ! Super enthusiastic and really get you motivated! Not sure how they can remember hundreds of peopleβs names but that just goes to show you how dedicated they are to transforming peoples lives ! Highly recommend this place !

Amazing people and staff, my first class they let me in 5 mins early to explain how the machines work and how the heart rate monitor works. So far i have lost 5lbs ever since i began 3 weeks ago.

If you are looking for a gym that gives you group exercises on endurance, strength and power.... welcome to your studio! I have been to about ten studios and this location has the most upbeat staff, encouraging coachers/trainers and clean facilities. I hate going to normal gyms because they don't offer me any motivation. OrangeTheory Princeton breaks that cycle for me and gives me the motivation needed to work-out and get fit while challenging myself through rowing machines, treadmills, TRX equipment, bands, bosu/medicine balls and weights. Each day is different and everyone in the class is on different levels. The support at this location with the members is high. When I first started, I could barely run on the treadmill or row for 30 seconds. Today, I am a new man who wants to beat previous records and stay healthy. The best part of the workouts for me are the modifications. The coaches know that everyone doesn't have the best knees or arms made of steel, so they show everyone how to modify workouts and tailor it to make it the best workout for your day. On top of that, there are contests year-round and happy-hours for members. This location has allowed me to make friends after moving to a new city because the members are just kind and all have the same goal - to work out and have fun. Personally, I would recommend the unlimited package because 3 or more workouts a week makes your body feel energized and fantastic. Last and not least, when you workout here, you can see your realtime results. Members have heart-monitors to obtain splat points in the orange zone. I am not sure how to describe it, but it is awesome to see how many points you get daily on your effort put in. I try and shoot for 12 points during each workout. Regardless, this studio is fantastic and joining it has been a game-changer for me. If you want a different gym experience and results, join OrangeTheory Princeton.

I went to my first ever #Orangetheory class today and am already hooked! Natalya at reception greeted us and took us through all the details, forms, packages and information and then the class coach Liz, spent ample time before class walking us through the equipment and how everything worked. I canβt wait to go back, and canβt say enough good things about Orangetheory Princeton! #splatpoints
