I was never consistent with eating and going to the gym until I started with "out run your fork". I go 3 times a week which is more than I ever did. I get pushed every session by the trainers (ray and Anthony) to challenge myself and if I don't they make sure to challenge me. If I don't show up they are checking in to see what's going on and making sure I am there next class.
Because of all the effort I am putting in with workouts, I making sure I put it in at home with eating. I cut back on all the sugar and candy I use to eat. I started making protein shakes and smoothies. I cut back on my portion sizes while being mindful of how many calories my body really needs a day thanks to Melissa. I am losing weight I haven’t been able to lose in 3 years and inches I never expected to lose. Highly recommend everyone to join!

If I could give Out Run Your Fork more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. I was blessed enough to run into the CEO, Tony at Festifall and he was nothing but friendly, helpful and motivating. I’ve been a part of the community for about a month and it has been nothing but life changing for me. I suffer from chronic pain and after just a month, my pain has disappeared. The personal trainers are fabulous. They are motivating, energetic, passionate about what they do and they tailor the workouts to your needs. They always help you with your form, and offer alternative workouts if you’re unable to do one they’ve offered. The shared group classes are very small, so you are still receiving what I would say is 1 on 1 attention from your personal trainer. And being with others with similar goals who also help you has been more than encouraging! I’ve had the privilege of doing a 1 on 1 class due to being the only individual signing up for a Thursday morning class and that itself was such an amazing experience. If you think you’re incapable of this- you are wrong. This community is super accommodating and will work with you because they deeply care about your health and life goals. I am so entirely grateful I ran into these wonderful group of people because they have truly changed my life in a matter of one month. These workouts are literally the best part of my day! Even on mornings where I would usually skip my workouts, I am now motivated to go there just because I love it that much and my entire mood is completely turned around. I started working with Tony from Out Run Your Fork earlier this year and it is already making a big difference. He is a fantastic personal trainer and a master motivator. Tony was able to craft a personalized workout plan for me that took into account a herniated disk in my back without aggravating it. He made sure to start the plan slowly with stretching and exercises to strengthen the surrounding body parts which has allowed us to keep expanding the workouts we are doing each session. I can’t wait to see the progress over the coming months. Tony is also a great nutritionist, and he has helped me shape up my diet as well. The personal trainer’s at Out Run Your Fork are top notch. After taking my first small group training session with them, I’m already feeling sore in the best way possible! I love how intimate the group training sessions are because it feels like you’re getting personalized support and guidance to ensure the correct form at all times. No one likes an injury and that level of attention helps you focus in on the right muscle groups to get the most out of your workout. I certainly needed and appreciated that! What I also love is that the personal trainers offer different exercise variations for beginners, intermediate level and advanced. This really allowed me to challenge myself when I felt strong and to go at a beginners pace for the muscle groups that felt a little weaker.

Tony and his team are amazing! I’m coming to the end of my 21 day challenge and excited to continue training. I’ve never been a “gym” person and barely exercise in the past but I’m really enjoying the group training and getting a lot out of it. I’m finding the routine has been helping my energy levels, assisting with stress and helping me with my blood pressure. Tony and his team are very responsive and have a holistic approach so they check in regularly and hold me accountable to my goals. I have been doing physical therapy for about a year to deal with multiple health issues such as a broken leg, neuropathy, and Crohn’s. Physical Therapy helped to a point, but I was looking to take my progress to the next level. I was looking for a place that understood what I was going through and could create a plan to achieve my goals. Outrun Your Fork checked all those boxes! I met with Tony who listened and asked questions and left me feeling confident in starting to work with them. Then I started working with my trainer Ray and nutritionist Nancy who are both knowledgeable and great to work with. The workouts are not easy, but I went from dreading to looking forward to them. I have gained stability, strength, and confidence as I use my cane less and less. The support and guidance provided on my nutrition are helping me to gain muscle and eat foods to support my Crohn’s.

An all in one place
If you are looking for a place that offer personal training and has also a nutritionist, but in addition to that will treat you like a person not a number, you need to go to Outrun your fork in Westfield.
I’ve been eyeing that place for a while and when I was at the peak of my struggles with food cravings, and having difficulty getting to have a healthy lifestyle, Tony and the team for Outrun your fork came to the rescue.
They gave me the support I need to manage my food cravings through a plan that I did with other people so I was engaged and motivated.
The workouts are fun and so far never the same. The instructors are there to motivate/encourage you and make sure you are doing the right thing, which for me was a big differential from other places with huge groups and I was always embarrassed to ask a question and most of the time was doing the wrong thing.
They hold you accountable too with monthly(I guess) weight in and measuring to track your progress and see where else could you do to get better.

I had trouble finding motivation in joining a fitness group because many can be intimidating, too large of groups, expensive, and won't start at a level that I need. The personal trainers at Out Run Your Fork are excellent at making sure you are comfortable in your first session and guide you accordingly throughout your experience! Sessions are only three people, including yourself, so everyone gets the correct amount attention. Everyone I have worked out with has been so encouraging and helpful, both other members and trainers! The sessions are efficient and short, making it easy to fit into my day and is a reason why I keep returning. In addition to this all, they also have a nutritionist that provides you with a personalized plan so you can improve your eating habits on the side, but it does not even feel like a diet! I highly suggest Out Run Your Fork for anyone at any age who either needs an introduction to fitness or for anyone who needs a jumpstart back into their old fitness routines. I’m came to Out Run Your Fork a little over a year ago, right out of 3 months of physical therapy for a severe herniated disc. As an active person, I was eager to get back to working out but in a way where I wouldn’t aggravate my back issues. What I love most about the team is they customize everything for their clients, they automatically tell me how to modify anything for my back, have recommended stretches and exercises to strengthen it. My wife and I have been working out with Out Run Your Fork (ORYF) in Westfield consistently for about a year and an half with a break due to the pandemic. We found that we do better in a co-ed gym with small group instruction that occasionally ends up being a personal training session.
Tony, Melissa, Ray, Teresa and Michelle (the 5 trainers) make the sessions fun and are all very supportive. For our schedule, we normally workout with Melissa. We trained at our own pace, slowly building up our strength and avoided injuring ourselves. Along the way all 5 trainers, but Tony and Melissa especially, have given us a lot of advice about nutrition and workouts and guided us to the point where we were ready to kick it up a notch or two. As a result, we are both at the lowest weight we've been at in a very long time and we're stronger!

Joining this gym is the est decision I could have made for myself. I am 51 years old and was having the hardest time finding a gym that could serve my needs. I needed small group classes or personal training because I don't know what I'm doing and need helping. The trainers here are the perfect mix of tough love (to get the job done) and education to make sure you don't injure yourself. They are knowledgeable and good at what they do. My son and I go to out run your fork twice a week for our workouts. It is a family owned and ran business that allows us the flexibility of which days and what times we want to come in. Work outs are tailored to you as an individual even in a class of 4 or more people. My son is 13 years old and has been out of school because of the COVID situation and I was worried he was sitting at the computer too often. A friend recommended outrun your fork so we toured the building with the owners and decided it was a great fit for us. Tony also educates us on nutrition and analyzes our food diaries and offers suggestions, tips, and educational seminars. When we go on vacation we attend the virtual class which i find challenging and fun also.
I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and those from any and all athletic backgrounds. My son had always been an athlete, however I have never been even remotely good at any kind of physical activity 😂. My lack of experience along with my history of cervical cancer definitely made it hard to get back to exercise however Tony and Melissa really have made it easy to do.

I came to Tony to help get me back in the gym after over a year of chronic back pain as well as a car accident that put significant strain on my neck. Within 2 months of weekly sessions with Tony, I was able to get into a regular gym routine without fear of injuring myself! I truly can not recommend Tony enough. Since starting with Tony my life has changed big time. Not only do I feel healthier and stronger than ever before, but I’m sporting the most muscle I’ve ever had. Since starting with him I’ve put on five solid pounds of it. Tony is the best! I've been working with him for a few months and have seen dramatic improvement in weight loss, muscle building and stamina. My clothes fit better and I feel better. He knows when to push, and when not to. He is mindful of past problems or injuries -- I have a bad back and tight hips. He'll often modify exercises to ensure I don't hurt myself but still get a great workout. And even more, he focuses on strengthening those areas to reduce risk of injury in future. He also gives great advice on nutrition -- but he's realistic about it. Have a favorite bad-for-you-food that you can't live without? He can work with that - keep it in moderation and make sure the rest of your diet contains the right mix of protein, fat and carbs and you'll achieve the goal. Having just moved to the USA this summer, I begun the somewhat daunting and frustrating task of trying to find myself a PT / small group fitness class in Westfield.
After asking around in some group forums Tony was recommended to me - he was the only trainer to reply to my initial email and even call me, so he was off to a great start!

After having my second child , my body was in the worst shape of my life. I was overweight, weak and had no energy. I was the biggest I have ever been. 14 months ago I was in an accident. The accident effected my whole body. I've been experiencing head pressure neck and back pain. Because of being restricted from driving, working etc for 5 months. I was becoming weak and my head pressure, neck and back injury was effecting to the point were I gained 30 pounds and became very weak. For viewers - note that I'm a very critical and skeptical person. I even felt Crossfit was crazy when I seen other places where people looked like they were not happy and about to die.
As I found that I needed motivation and I needed my body to be healthy - It was time for me to invest in health to prevent that "old man" syndrome. My massage therapist happens to be the wife of Tony. I was skeptic, I hate being pushed. But health was more important to me and it couldn't hurt to just see.
To my amazement, Tony is not a drill Sargent. He's perfectly balanced as he assist the INDIVIDUAL according to their needs, their pace, their injuries with just the right amount of push one needs to get advance. He even knew when I had to rest before I knew it.
