Bob, the owner of Outfit NJ Fitness is an outstanding personal trainer. He will work with you one on one or with a group of friends. He is upbeat and keeps the workouts moving and interesting. I have seen a significant and noticeable increase in my strength, agility and flexibility. He also works to prevent injuries or overuse - always checking in to be sure the workouts are effective - and you are ok. It is not your typical "lift some heavy weights and use some machines," type of workout. Bob uses different types of weights to help you work on strength, cardio, and balance. Workouts vary. Sometimes your schedule changes and Bob will work with you to fit in a workout. Consistency is important and Bob will keep you motivated to keep coming back. His clients are a wide range - from young athletes to mothers with children, to working professionals, to retired men and women. Whether you are a former athlete, someone looking to get into better shape, or someone looking to improve performance - Bob would be an excellent trainer.

I went to this studio because I needed to work with corrective exercise specialist and because of a referral. Training with Bob has exceeded my expectations! There is warm up a workout where you can safely push yourself and a cool down all in 45min. Coming here on lunch break is the best way I’ve been consistent with a personal trainer. Booking a semi private session with my girlfriend is another way consistency was built fast, we both enjoy going. Definitely would recommend this business to all my friends and family. Supportive and knowledgeable environment that helps me to keep working on my health and wellness goals.

I have been training with Bob for a little over 4 years now at outfit nj and I cant thank him enough for what he’s done for me. He is able to adjust workouts on the fly if something is sore to better accommodate you on that day and keeps the workouts fresh and fun week in and week out . He isn't one of these stereotypical drill sergeant trainers who are yelling your face to do one more rep he is laid back but knows how to up the energy when needed to motivate you. On top of being a great trainer he has unbelievable energy and people skills which for me is key in this kind of business….. and let me tell you this guy is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to fitness.

Bob has been my trainer for three or four years now. The best thing I can say about Outfit NJ is that Bob actually cares about me! He goes the extra mile every session. He modifies your workout specifically for you and constantly watches and corrects your form.
I injured my back last year while taking an online fitness class and was down for months. I had surgery and was unsure what my future would look like. My body felt different, less stable after surgery. When i felt ready, I came back to Bob to reintroduce myself to fitness. In two months he has already vastly improved my stability and strength. I'm not so worried about my future any longer!

Bob’s approach to training and fitness in general really appeal to me. I’m not someone that typically likes Gyms or structured work outs, but Bob is a great coach and mentor. He builds programs that are tailored to your body, and health goals, and isn’t salesy/pushy. As someone who runs more, he has tailored the work outs to help strengthen and compliment my running. He genuinely wants you to be healthy and feel like you are getting what you want out of training physically and mentally. He also has a wealth of knowledge and wants to educate you to help you take charge in your own training plan/regiment so that you are empowered to grow and progress outside the sessions if you want to. His sessions are flexible and affordable, would recommend Bob to anyone, 11/10.

Bob is not only a great motivator but his in depth knowledge of how the body works allows him to create interesting and effective workouts. I am stronger, more balanced and able to move better than I have in years…and I also look and feel better in my clothes. I’ve been training with Bob for about 6 years now, and have no intentions on stopping. I have gone through a massive physical transformation having lost over 100 pounds. He is a great guy and always inspires me to keep my head up even when I want to quit and am tired. Bob’s motivational spirit, great facilities, and overall mantra of wellbeing make him and his gym one of the best around. Would recommend him to anyone looking to jumpstart a healthy sustainable lifestyle.

I have been working out with Bob for many years. He works very hard to tailor the workouts to your needs, bring variety to make them more effective and keep them from being monotonous. He is also very reasonably priced compared to other personal trainers.
I would highly recommend Bob to anyone who is trying to get fit, recover from an injury, or just trying to maintain health.

Bob has been a wonderful trainer for my partner and I, who are at different fitness levels with different goals. His knowledge of exercise physiology allows him to be endlessly flexible in how to approach a move, especially handy in our current social distancing reality—where we’re doing classes via Skype. We can show him what’s in our home gym arsenal and he can come up with routines using just that, or no equipment whatsoever. He’s very personable and reassuring and makes goals seem attainable. We laugh a lot, too, so it’s quite fun and the time flies by. Very glad we found him!
