I began working with Todd at the age of 17 following a shoulder and bicep injury I sustained while training for the US Rowing Junior National Team. Todd performed a thorough assessment of my injury and developed a comprehensive training plan to get me better. By the time I returned to school two months later, I was well on my way to complete recovery and feeling stronger, smarter, and more aware of my body than I had before. Four years later, I'm a fourth year on the UVA Women's Rowing Team and feeling physically great. I continue to work with Todd whenever I'm home and rely on him as a resource for my athletic needs. Training with Todd has been an incredible experience for me. He has taught me so much about strength, flexibility, injury prevention, nutrition, body awareness, and overall physical well-being. I truly believe I'm a much more mature, equipped, and conscious athlete because of him.

I have been training with Todd for over five years now. He has help me through several injuries including an ACL sprain. He has helped me physically develop myself to suit my specific needs and goals. He is always pushing me to be better and keep improving. It is very clear that Todd cares greatly about all of his clients and is always willing to do whatever they need to the best of his ability.

Todd Dattoli is one of the best personal trainers I've worked with, and as a fashion magazine editor who specializes in beauty and wellness, I've worked with many of them over the years, both in New York City and in New Jersey. Todd cares deeply about his clients, and dedicates a lot of time to creating bespoke programs geared towards helping them achieve personal goals like injury recovery, sports conditioning, weight loss and general fitness. Not only is he super motivational and fun to work out with, he has a masters degree in kinesiology and near-encyclopedic knowledge of the human body, which distinguishes him from a lot of other so-called fitness professionals. Never one to rest on his laurels, however, he's passionate about staying up to date on new techniques and developments in his field, and is constantly honing his craft. I have age-related disc-herniation issues and a tennis-related Achilles injury, and thanks to Todd's background and experience, he's known exactly what to do in each instance to strengthen key muscles and increase my mobility. Even more importantly, in my opinion- he knows what NOT to do. I feel comfortable and confident under his watchful- make that eagle- eye, and am grateful to have found someone who truly- and literally- has my back.

I'm a physical therapist and Owner of Mountainview Physical Therapy in Hackettstown, NJ. I have known Todd for many years. I am always impressed with his detailed knowledge of human anatomy as well as muscle physiology. I'm equally impressed with his desire to sincerely help people with whatever personal training goals they may have. When I first met Todd, now over 4 years ago, I was 52 years old, significantly overweight and in poor shape. I had just been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis which was attacking my ligaments and was in critical need of knee surgery.
Todd was familiar with my conditions and through a careful and thoughtful exercise plan (our workouts from session to session are never the same), I started to drop weight and build strength. Todd found ways to work through my underlying autoimmune condition and helped with my flexibility and engaged my large and small muscles prior to my surgery.
After the procedure, Todd helped accelerate my recovery making it possible for me to ski in Utah just four months after surgery. Through four years of arthritic flares Todd has managed our exercise routine. Throughout , I have been able to stay in shape and at my target weight.
Over the years, I have greatly benefitted from Todd's experience, his knowledge and the care he brings to our relationship.
Todd's care and training extends to my two daughters who are both NCAA division one athletes.
Todd is a great human being, trainer, coach and educator who has changed my life.

I am now 69 years old with no medical conditions that would prevent me from participating in a physical fitness program which includes water aerobics, Zumba and Golf. Todd my personal trainer would meet me twice a week. He created interesting workouts that allowed me to improve my upper body strength, flexibility and balance.
When I retired couple years ago I moved from the area, my trainer relationship with Todd came to an end, but the need to train and exercise did not leave me. I have used the technique’s I have learned from Todd over the years. Today at my age I am thankful I had met Todd as balance and strength are required to age gracefully! Besides being an awesome trainer he was always pleasant while reminding me to maintain correct body position. I would recommend anyone who would like to improve their fitness to work with Todd.

I have been training with Todd for eight years now. Todd has earned the accolades from division 1 college coaches as well as competitive high school athletes for the regime he has developed in training such athletes to compete at the highest level.
In my case I started with Todd in my mid sixties and had come to the realization that if I wanted to enjoy life, with my children and grandchildren I needed to pay attention to my health. Todd’s approach is Tailored to the individuals need. He is knowledgeable about every part of the body. His workouts are varied and focused on whatever is causing any concern at the present time.
Workouts are looked forward to. His approach to nutrition and diet has enabled me to maintain a healthy weight without starvation. I definitely recommend Todd for whatever your training needs are. From young athletes building strength and agility to compete on the field or someone like me with a desire to get more out our daily life as we get older.

I have been working with Todd for over 20 years and he has kept me 75 years young. His knowledge of training regimens is so extensive we have never done the same workout twice in our over 2,000 sessions together. Todd focuses not on just strength training but also on the movement and balance work that is so necessary for us as we age. His extensive knowledge in massage and stretching is a true bonus that keeps life's aches and pains to a minimum. A session with Todd also flies by as his lively and funny personality actually makes working out with him fun. It has never been boring. He has simply kept me alive and able to live my life to the fullest. I can't thank him enough for that.

Todd is fantastic! I’ve been training with him for over 4 years and am convinced he is one of the best personal trainers around. He is very passionate about his craft and committed to his clients’ well-being.
Todd is an expert in human physiology so every exercise is precise yet flexible. These exercises range from basic cardio to intensive strengthening techniques that are adapted to consider my back injury.
New routines are introduced while familiar ones are mastered and this makes every workout unique, challenging, and most importantly, fun!
