Founded in Keyport, NJ in 2017, Pearl Yoga & Fitness has been described by clients as welcoming, down-to-earth, and supportive.
While we specialize in offering modifications to postures and movements, we also offer more challenging variations for intermediate and advanced practitioners.

Oh my goodness I am obsessed with Pearl Yoga & Fitness. I came across the studio on google search close to where I was staying for the week. I was intrigued to learn more about their wheel class. Navigating their website was super easy to sign up for a class. They had a week trial that fit perfect for my week stay.
When I walked into the studio I was greeted with ββhello are you Regina ?!ββ and instantly felt that I found the perfect studio while chatting with Janet and Melanie.
In the week I practiced 6 times and each class was different and I learned something new every single class. Every single time I walked into the studio I was greeted with a warm welcome. I enjoyed the way the class was set up with the instructor in the middle with everyone having a front row seat. I love the use of props and the direction how to use each prop during class. At the end of class I enjoy the meditation and learning about the sutras. I feel honored that I found this beautiful yoga studio and was welcomed to their yoga community. I am sad I wonβt be just down the road, but definitely will be stopping by the studio any chance I can get. Thank you for having me!

I love Pearl Yoga! Melanie's Beginner Dharma Wheel Yoga class has helped me increase my balance and strength my core! I was completely comfortable taking the beginner class for the first time, having never performed yoga before. The speed at which Melanie teaches as well as her detailed instruction and assistance when needed, makes any beginner feel comfortable with the wheel and want to come back for more.

My daughter suggested that I try the Dharma wheel class at Pearl Yoga & Fitness and I love it! Using the Dharma wheel has allowed me to gain strength in my core muscles, legs and is an overall great body stretch. The instructors are patients, kind, and if you can't do a move, there is always a modification. Thank you Janet Gallo and Melanie Pfleger!

I was recommended by my chiropractor to try the dharma wheel class at Pearl Yoga & Fitness. I was a little apprehensive because Iβve tried yoga in the past and never felt like I was for me. I just couldnβt get the poses right. But I loved the wheel class so I came back every Sunday. There is no longer any apprehension and if I canβt get a pose now there are many modifications shown to help me. I love Pearl and so thankful my chiro recommended it to me. I would highly recommend it to you too!

My daughters (ages 1.5 & 3.5) and I have been taking βmom and meβ classes at Pearl Yoga and cannot day enough about the kindness, patience, & creativity of Miss Melanie. She always has tricks up her sleeve to keep my girls engaged. They repeat what we do in class at home and my older daughter asks frequently βAre we going to yoga today?β π Janet, the owner, was so welcoming and accommodating to my inquiry of practicing yoga with littles that she made it effortless to figure out a schedule. The warm atmosphere and client care at Pearl Yoga cannot be beat!

Pearl Yoga is more like a diamond in the rough. What a charming, warm, and welcoming studio! Its been about 15 years since my last yoga session as an intermediate, and a lifetime of bodily changes in between, including a new baby a few months ago. Janet and Dina made me feel welcome, comfortable, and completely at ease in their Beginners Yoga 4 week session. Its the perfect environment to ease back into a routine. Everyone is encouraged to follow the instructor at your own pace. No crazy, new age music either- James Taylor played quietly in the background. It was a full house with about a dozen people, and no one felt crowded. Plenty of blankets, blocks, bolsters available to all, encouraging comfortable options. Pearl Yoga & Fitness is TRULY...a "Judgement-free Zone".

I've been going to Pearl for about 4 months. I did yoga before about 5 years ago, but this studio is different. The community is encouraging and accepting. If theres a pose you're having trouble with, they'll get you there. Tonight I did a back bend for the first time in my life. I've taken classes with each teacher, and they all leave you feeling strong, centered, and wanting more!

As a newbie to yoga, I found Pearl and all it's instructors warm and accomodating. They help you modify poses to suit your level and are always enthusiastic and encouraging. They have made me a yoga-convert. I look forward to every session I attend and leave feeling refreshed and regenerated. Janet, the owner, continually integrates new techniques and ideas keeping every class fresh and unique.

Pearl Yoga is my favorite yoga studio in the area. I would not consider myself a yoga pro but I know most of the beginner moves all thanks to Janet Gallo, the owner, and her years of teaching experience. At Pearl Yoga & Fitness I never feel intimidated or not advanced enough which I am sure we have all felt at some point at other studios. You will not find that here- friendly classmates, knowledgeable teachers, and a stress free zone. They are building a community for the average person that wants to get out and move but is not expected to be extremely flexible or overly dedicated. Another great thing I found was that the teachers will work with you on any muscle aches or tension you may having throughout your body. Nothing like a good stretch after sitting at a computer all day.
For the location, price point and chill vibe the studio cannot be beat!

Janet is one of the most unique, genuine, loving and dedicated yoga teacher Iβve ever met. I unconditionally recommend Janet and her studio. All her colleagues and her classes are always beginners-friendly and as well advanced-friendly.
Honestly I didn't believe in the positive effects from yoga and especially in slow activities. I've been always doing jogging and fat burning exercises. Then I've decided to became a mom. Having a lack of energy to burn now I do believe that yoga can help. Not only to decrease pain in back injuries like mine. But practicing yoga you could straighten your muscles. Every morning my lower back is blocking me to stand up. The pain is a result from epidural anesthesia. It is almost 3 years since labor and I still feel this pain.
I am practicing yoga from a few months and even that I am not persistent, (I wish could be more) I see an actual result. Small progress is better than no progress!
Janet is always there for me, she is persistent and patient teacher, she is one of those rare people you meet in life that you never forget and I definitely know - she is my yoga instructor. This is my an unforgettable yoga journey like none other. I definitely think it could be your own too. See you on the mat! Namaste!

Love this studio! Been practicing with Janet, the owner, for almost 2 years. I walked into my first class at 54 years old, overweight, and a bit uncertain as to what to expect but Janet made me feel welcome, comfortable and modified all poses for my ability. Now, I am healthy, strong, thinner, and addicted to yoga! You will love this friendly studio....give them a try!
