If you’re looking for a Pilates studio and fabulous instructor your search is over.

After a knee injury, I needed a form of exercise that would be easier on my joints. Last year, I started at Pilates Haus and have been working with Jessica.

Jess is very knowledge, attentive and will often provide small adjustments to my body position to improve my form and avoid injury. I find each session with her to be challenging yet doable.

If you’ve been wanting to try Pilates, or are looking for a new studio, I highly recommend Pilates Haus and Jess as an instructor.

Paid $210 for the 3 trial classes, but the trial classes have to be taken in only first month, but you can never find three open slots.

I don't understand why this place is so popular in the first place - I took the first class and never want to come back anyways.

Anyone who wanna give pilates a try, please, avoid Jessica Pallotti at all cost. Arrogant and impatient to the first timer, yawn at the first timer, and criticize the first timer if they just misheard instructions a bit (e.g. raise the wrong arm, etc.). Jessica, just so you know, this will make the new comer even more nervous and NOT enjoy pilates AT ALL.

I have taken private sessions with Michelle for 8 months and could not recommend her enough ! She is very professional, knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. It was my first time taking Pilates and by the end of the 8 months she made me a fan of Pilates. I had a back surgery a year back and let her know in my first session. She tailored every exercise to cater to my body and needs. Due to my back surgery and staying seated all day at work, my back had gotten very stiff and everything started hurting. With Pilates, the stiffness in my back majorly improved and so did other symptoms around my neck and shoulders. The new studio is super cozy and nice. I definitely recommend Michelle to anyone looking to start or continue their Pilates journey!

Pilates Haus is a world class, classical Pilates studio. I live in NYC, where there's seemingly a Pilates studio on every block. Yet every week, I travel 1 hour each way to take a class at Pilates Haus. I am very particular about Pilates instructors and, about 5 years ago, after researching a number of NYC schools I decided to take a class at Pilates Haus and haven't looked back.

I found Pilates Haus because director and master teacher, Brett Howard, teaches a number of classes on PilatesAnytime.com and he is simply amazing. He studied with Romana Kryzanowska (among others), has a masters degree in Dance Education from NYU and is a former professional ballet dancer.

EVERY instructor here is top notch and the studio is spacious (a rarity in these parts), fully equipped and beautiful. Pilates Haus is featured on the Gratz reformer website which makes the best classic Pilates equipment (my opinion).

The best of the best. This studio trains and certifies instructors under a very rigorous apprenticeship program that includes anatomy, physiology etc. This is not a competitive studio - but rather a community that is nurturing. Pilates here is a healing experience!
