Pilates4Fitness Movement Space is a boutique fitness studio serving the community residents of Guttenberg, Weehawken, Edgewater, North Bergen, Cliffside Park and West New York. The studio virtual group class offerings for men and women of all shapes and sizes that seek a disciplined, classical approach to health and fitness.
Gina Jackson, Owner/Teacher a NY Power Pilates Certified Instructor, maintains a regular weekly workout with Pilates as the foundation and welcomes you to experience it for yourself.

Simply put, Gina is the best! Her acute attention to detail, her extensive knowledge of Pilates and, overall, her effective teaching approach is like no other. Gina is an extremely knowledgeable instructor. She can adapt each series dependent on your needs. I started with her about 6 months pregnant and had weekly lessons with up to 8 months, which made me feel like my body was better prepared to deliver my 2nd child. My recoup time this 2nd time around was much quicker and I know my pilate sessions with Gina had something to do w/ my quick recovery post delivery. I've continued my private session postpartum as we focus on strengthening my powerhouse (core) as we know that is one of the hardest things to do post pregnancy.

So let me tell you about my experience and ongoing work with Gina...I went in and was horrified....I had never done pilates before and felt that I could not do it....well Gina was not let that happen...so she sat with me talked to me and evaluated my body (oy)...although I work out and have done yoga for many years, pilates is different and I am not flexible (physically) and certainly not coordinated...
Gina could see that right away and has worked consistently with me week after week...and what do you know...my hips don't hurt, a very badly injured shoulder is not moving in a way that I never thought would be possible...
Oh...and by the way, did I tell you that I am 70 years old and that Gina works well with me as well as with young, flexible and physically coordinated individuals. She is just wonderful...I cannot thank her enough!!!!!

I've been coming for almost a year and I'm hooked! Gina offers both private and group sessions. I love them much I try to have lessons with her at least two or three times a week. The group classes are very small (cap at 4 I believe) so you get a lot of attention from her who watch your form. Gina is an amazing instructor who will make you do the work and sweat!

One ruptured and three herniated disks pretty much stopped me cold. I spent the next 6 months healing( a lot of walking and no lifting) and seeing doctors who all told me I needed surgery. Anything I carried, I felt on my spine. I did some therapy, and when I felt better I tried a gym. On the first day, I hurt myself. I was starting to consider surgery. On a whim, I decided to listen to my wife and try this Pilates thing with her. I started with Gina in September and I LOVE IT !!!
Gina has Definitely shown me the way and I intend on staying the path. I intend on making Pilates part of my life. The results are amazing and so is Gina. I'm not sure if I would have gotten the same results elsewhere. Definitely an investment in myself and worth it's weight in gold.

Gina truly offers a TRX class unlike any I've ever taken. She's not only mixes in Pilates, which constantly engages your core, but she also goes around and adjusts your posture. Gina is a wonderful teacher and I would highly recommend her classes to anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. I had heard about Pilates for years but never really thought it would be something for me. I finally decided to give it a shot and see what it’s all about (mainly because I was just sick of the gym and totally bored with it). After my first session with Gina, I was absolutely hooked! With each session you can actually feel yourself becoming stronger and more toned. Gina has incredible energy and knowledge…she answers any questions you may have and helps you to understand the moves you are doing and really focus on your form. The hour session flies by and you leave feeling great and full of energy. If anyone else is unsure if Pilates is for them, give it a shot, you have nothing to lose and you’ll probably love it like I do :)

Gina is an EXCELLENT teacher. I have regained control, strength, and some flexibility despite still working through some old injuries. Gina has an enormous laugh and generous spirit, and while I wouldn't call Pilates enjoyable (yet), and do enjoy how I feel afterwards. I just do what she says to the best of my ability, and my body changes for the better.
I started with Gina about 8 years ago and have trained with her off and on. I won't train with anyone else. She is that good.

"Gina is PHENOMENAL! In my opinion, teachers really make or break a class/session and determine how hard you work out. She is an excellent teacher and really helps motivate you to be your very best! When I began with Gina, I was embarrassed of my shape and weakness both physically and mentally. I had been athletic most of my life, but after child birth, "I didn't have time" and this was physical rock bottom for me. I was introduced to Gina by a friend who had amazing results with her. I began working with her once a week and this helped restore my confidence. I am now working with Gina twice a week and I am much stronger, leaner and healthier. Without Gina, I would still be making excuses. She stresses correct form so that you get the deepest benefit from your workout. She is excellent at helping you to isolate the proper muscles, find the right position, push through the correct leg or arm, hold your weight properly, and modify exercises to accommodate any weaknesses or injury. Sometimes you'll think you're doing a move right, but then she comes by and makes a tiny adjustments and you feel the "difference of doing it right." Gina isn’t just going through the motions, she really cares! There are Men and women of ALL shapes and sizes frequent her classes. The studio has great parking facilities, it's always clean and the other clients are great too. I have experienced really positive mental and physical results with her! I highly recommended!!!!!!"

I love Gina's classes - I get a little sad when the hour is up, I just want to keep going!!!
