Overall the experience in exceptional and they have so many different class to choose from and the instructor’s are super nice and very accommodating. It’s super clean and organized. The mat Pilates classes are amazing, and the no-recording policy makes it such a comfortable environment, it’s an amazing community for any person regardless of your level of experience. Highly recommend!

Really cute idea but executed poorly. Studio equipment feels cheap and the studio itself is dirty. There are hairs all over the floor and dirt on the base boards. I liked my class with Sandra but did not like the other 2 instructors classes. This feels like people just hoping on the Pilates bandwagon.

came here once with a group of family took gills class and it was wonderful, second time around it was Fatima class and it was very upsetting to see someone who was extremely rude to the class her energy was very negative! Please do better! Nothing worse than coming to a work out class to feel better about yourself and then you have an instructor who is rude and picking on people!

I bought a promo of $10/class 15 classes. Very excited when I bought them there was no expiration date listed on the website when I bought the classes otherwise I wouldn’t have bought 15 due to my schedule but apparently my classes had expired August. I reached out via Instagram explaining and showing proof asking for refund as I cannot make classes - they do not offer refund, okay somewhat fair… they said they would extend my classes until October but it has now been several weeks of me reaching out via Direct Message to say my classes have not been put back into my account & extended until October. Poor customer service.

Good idea but executed poorly. The reformers feel cheap and the instructors seem to not have any sort of training. There’s no flow to this studio like you would have at franchise Pilates studio. I also have had a few friends go who said the coffee bar wasn’t open?? Interesting. It feels like Pilates is the new big thing so this was just another small business that is hoping on the trend but rushed to get there. The owners are also very unprofessional, probably due to them being young. But in the fitness industry your name will carry. Either way i think the overall idea is great but it needs more TLC into the company. Cheaping out on things like the reformers or music isnt a good look. When i was there they were playing music out of a JBL speaker??? Okay fetty wap that’s crazy

I absolutely loved this Pilates studio! It's so cute and feminine, and I really appreciate how they prioritize creating a safe, private space for women—locking the door, closing the blinds, and ensuring everyone feels comfortable. The music they play is amazing, and the atmosphere is super uplifting. I took two classes with the owner herself, and she is absolutely fabulous. I 100% recommend checking this place out!

Okay so as someone who hates and I mean HATES going to the gym I would of never thought that I would get into Pilates and girl this is the place to go if your planning because I’ve never recommend a place unless I’ve been there a little more than a few times and for the past 2 months I’ve been going I’ve received nothing but the most exceptional hospitality from all the ladies there and it genuinely excites me every time I have a class coming up because I know I’ll be taken care of by some of the sweetest ladies it truly has become an outlet for me and with the motivation from the instructors I’ve been also seeing results from how consistent I’ve been going to each class PLEASE if your looking to do Pilates I highly recommend Pilatte and the whole place is pink and includes a cafe that collaborates with small coffee shop businesses I genuinely love it here and will NEVER go anywhere else <3

I never really like to post reviews, but I really have to about Pilatte. I've been going at least 3-4 times a week since they opened and have honestly really enjoyed my time in every class. Every single instructor is amazing, and never seize to not challenge you! They're very welcoming and staff is extremely sweet. And not to mention the FREE parking that is offered is priceless, ANDD they're super affordable. Something you cant find in Montclair. If you're looking to start your Pilates girly era, go here! You wont regret it, in fact you'll probably become obSsesed.

Booked an appointment. The area it is located in is very hard to find. Spent 15 min going back and forth the street. No phone number to call. The door is locked and we honestly thought they were closed, couldn't even tell if there was a lobby. The lady went you are 15 minutes late so we cannot let you in. I mean that 15 minutes is out of my time so that is on me, I paid to be there even if I have less time I would expect that I can come in and have the rest of the time. Honestly everyone was right for telling me not to go and that their policies are dumb. There is no mention of any late requirements. Would not recommend .

I go to Pilates here at least once a week. Their presale and opening offers are amazing prices which keep the classes accessible to someone like myself (full time student) I’ve tried a few of the instructors here and they are all wonderful in their own ways (Maddie, Alyssa, Brianna, Stephanie and Krystal so far!) I enjoy both the reformer and mat classes! The drink bar is an awesome addition too, so cute!!

To add criticism:

The floor often has hair/dirt on it which is understandable it’s very high traffic. Maybe vacuuming a few more times per day can minimize it. The hair is very noticeable once we are on the mats. Not bothersome to me but worth pointing out

On the website explaining how to redeem drinks that are pre purchased would be helpful! I purchased a strawberry cold foam coffee that seems to never be in the fridge. I was told it’s a Pilatte drink and not the other brands product. So just a little confused on that

This studio is just AMAZING 💖!!! I came with my sister and my friend, it was our first time doing pilates. The class that we took was super fun, nice music, the instructor was amazing, she was working out with us, singing, encouraging us all the time !! We felt the work out as soon as we finish but we just LOVED IT ! 🫶 They also have a coffee bar, matcha options, and Refreshers. The place is so cute and girly, they also sell there the pilates socks (in case you don't have like us 🤭) !! you just have to come and try them out, this place is amazing !! 💞

Pilatte has been my go to workout spot and home away from home since they opened. Not only did I love the esthetic when I walked in for the first time I was greeted by such a sweet instructor Valentina. Her class was amazing! I knew I had to come back. One class easily turned into 15 classes and wanting to take multiple classes a week. I kept seeing new themes being posted on their social media page and I started to take all of the classes and forgot I was working out because the 45 minutes fly by when you’re having a great time. Madison’s energy and the way she taught her class was like no other instructor I ever had at any other studio so I told my friends to come with me to class and they also ended up loving it! The community of friends grew in just a month. I now find myself taking a rotation of instructors because all have been so amazing and knowledgeable with teaching proper Pilates. All are very hands on and helpful and encourage you to keep going. I highly recommend trying a class! The lattes and matcha after class make it all worth it. I’m so glad I found a studio that’s not only woman friendly but very organized and clean. Every class is a new experience with a new playlist. 10/10 for me!

I LOVE PILATTE💕! If I could give them 100 stars I would. I can’t recommend this studio enough… I encourage everyone to take a class themselves! All of the instructors are amazing and the environment is extremely welcoming. Pilatte has made me fall in love with working out again, I’ve also noticed a difference in my strength and toning. I go to classes about 4-5 times a week and leave feeling great after each workout. It’s amazing to see the community Pilatte has grown after being open for just about a month. I have made so many friends and look forward to attending every class. I seriously have never felt more encouraged and motivated in a workout environment. It’s important to note that as a new aspiring business they are taking customer feedback/suggestions seriously and truly make Pilatte a beautiful safe space for all of us women! I respect their No Filming or Photos policy during class as they are an Hijabi Friendly Space. In all the classes I have attended (since grand-opening) I’ve seen each instructor take it seriously. They remind everyone before each class and always ask permission before taking any photos after. They also make sure to open curtains to alert others, is it okay to take photos at that time. Barrako is currently at Pilatte Tuesdays and Fridays and makes a delicious Strawberry Matcha✨ Not to mention how pink and cute the entire studio is! Thank you Pilatte🩷 I can’t wait to buy a membership and watch you grow🫶🏼

People do not take the photos policy serious for hijabis. I see people taking pictures without caring to know there are also hijabis not covered in the background. This studio needs to take their policy more serious and taken consideration of a better rule. If they are suppose to be hijabi-friendly.
