Am a senior got the black card that comes out of my Braven Health card. They said I have 5 days to come in with my Braven to pay or it will cancel. I wasn't able to get in and they were taking the money out of my card. I called Braven who told me to call the gym. I asked for the manager and she was so rude. She said if I did not come in the money would automatically be taken out. I said to look up my record. I have not went back because I was under the impression that I was canceled. She basically called me a lier because she said that is not what they told me. I even said i went in person to pay during the end of the 5 day period & the janitor was watching the front desk & did not know how to do anything. He said the desk person did not come in so he had to cover for him. She did not want to hear anything. I asked for the money they STOLE from my Braven card & put it back. I called Braven and ordered things I did not need but didnt have time and spent the money left before planet fitness took my money out ! Rude thieves ... doing this to a senior on a limited income where I could have used the Braven card to buy something I needed under the gym section !

I’m going to start off by saying how extremely disappointed I am with the new changes that the other Brick location made (Brick Blvd) I loved the staff, especially Tracy and Sue but because of the changes, I’m now coming to this location instead. They have all of the machines that I’m used to and love. I was greeted by Eric and he was absolutely amazing. He was very personable and happy to help! It’s hard to find good employees and people who actually enjoy what they’re doing. Don’t lose him and I would do whatever you can to make sure he stays!

Just moved back to the area recently from Miami and I’ve got to say this gym really stepped up their game. Matt at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He is so nice every single time. Everyone that works here seems to be more positive than last time I used to live here. They also have the red light bed now which I absolutely love. They updated all of their machines as well as finally installed a fountain with a water filter. I am definitely more motivated to come here now on the regular basis. Two employees were working on the double doors to get in, one door still able to open. The one was standing directly in the way of the door. I waited for over a minute and they saw me and ignored me. I walked Away and a man was right behind me, when I looked Behind me, they let him in. Real nice. I think I’ll be getting rid of my planet fitness membership after this. I am writing to formally request a refund for charges incurred on my Planet Fitness membership account. Despite my efforts to resolve this issue locally, I have been unable to receive assistance or a refund for unauthorized charges.

I joined Planet Fitness on 02/06/2023 and visited the gym only twice during the first month. I promptly canceled my membership within that initial month. However, I have been billed continuously since March 17, 2023, for a total of 16 months. The charges include:

Monthly membership fees of $10.66 per month
Yearly membership fees of $52.25 for two years
A recent charge of $35.66
The total amount billed to my account is $321.38. Despite repeated visits to my local Planet Fitness location, I have been informed that my membership was canceled. However, the charges have continued unabated.

Given that my membership was canceled within the first month and that I have been billed for a period during which I did not use the facility, I am requesting a full refund of the following:

The monthly membership charges of $10.66 for 16 months
The yearly membership fees of $52.25 for two years
This Month charge of $35.66

I'm a black card member so I go to gyms all over when I travel. This gym is really strange. They refused to put football on all season because they claim they didn't have the ability to change the channels. So for the past few months Fox Business plays on the Fox station where football would be on Sundays. I've complained, others have complained. The staff just claim there is nothing they can do. Are they paying you to keep it on? I'll be more than happy to take down this review once you turn the TVs back to where they are supposed to be.

I go to this club regularly. I am very pleased with the responsiveness of upper management. They resolved an issue I had with a past club manager. The clubs 24 hour schedule Monday through Thursday is much appreciated. I would like to see later hours on the weekends. The machinery is clean and adequate. I would like to see a stretching cage so I don’t have to use the machinery to stretch. Also, the temperature in the club should probably be a bit warmer to avoid injury during stretching and working out. The club is generally clean and pleasant however the shower area and shower curtains could be cleaner. Over all this club offers a great value to its members as a safe, pleasant environment to work out. Good job and thank you.

It was amazingly clean, very large and had plenty of machines to find a workout on. 5 stars for the employee John!

I just had a bad experience with an older gentleman who sat down on a machine I was on, while I was resting for 60 seconds, and had all of my stuff at the machine. I simply asked him if while he rested I did a set and while I rested he did his. I had 2 sets left. Well he became nasty saying I wasn’t there I tried to explain I was resting bc that’s what you do when you work out and he just continued to be a jerk even though I simply asked him to share sets SINCE I WAS ON THE MACHINE!

John the over night employee handled it very well, he kindly explained to the man that I was there (my water bottle and shirt were there) and was doing a 60 second rest. He was very kind to the gentleman. Well, he wasn’t having it. He was very rude to John as well. John also handled that well, kept his cool was very kind and respectful. The older man still was relentless asking for a manager. He wanted a manager for taking a machine that someone else was on!

I simply asked him to share, I didn’t even ask him to get off. I’ve never met an older man as rude as him. He should not be allowed in the gym if he can’t follow gym etiquette and be kind to others. Poor John. I was very impressed by the way he handled the situation. I thanked him and Carrie’s on with my workout.

I am at this gym EVERY SINGLE DAY rain or shine. I’ve never had a problem with anyone in the years I’ve been here since 2019.
Nothing bad about the gym or the employees, just the older gentleman. I just want to make sure it’s clear that John did the right thing!! Thank you!

The red light hybrid boots have so many benefits for anti-wrinkle, the lotion that is available for purchase is literally comparable to having a facial. And I am thrilled with the fact that after my shoulder surgery there are several machines that I will be able to utilize for my Rehabilitation as opposed to going to a physical therapy center.
