I really like this place. I wish new machines would come in for more variety. But the current selection is great. Gym Etiquette is not something you'll see being practiced enough. There's a lot of people that love to hog machines, benches and gather in groups around pieces of equipment that will make you wait for ages before you get to complete your workout.

Horrible customer service. Their policies are a total rip off. Went there to change my membership to a classic since none of their equipment works on the black one, and got told that i had to pay an extra 30$ to be able to do that, which was called an ‘enrollment fee’, while i was already enrolled. Anyhow, the lady at the counter who claimed that she was the “manager”, has no knowledge on how to treat a customer. I understand they have policies they have to follow but at least make an effort to satisfy your customers and don’t make it obvious you just want their money.

They trap you into an annual commitment.
After one year lapsed, they refused to cancel for free and asked me to wait till the annual subscribition is due and after paying it, so I can cancel without a charge!

i had to pay a $61.84 cancellation fee though more than a year has passed since my intitial subscribition to avoid the monthly drain as I no longer go there and to avoid the recurring annual subscribition.

It is a scam. My advice do not go there, or at least do not sign any annual commitment with this place. Look somewhere else.

Clean, brand new equipment and friendly employees!! We were surprised to see how much they offer for so less as compared to one of the health centers next door!! At the health center we paid over $170 a month for family of 3 which was insane and here at planet fitness we are paying $30 monthly for the black card membership for one and can bring a guest along any day! Can’t beat this!!

The evenings are crowded but usually we find open spots for all machines that we use. Love this new gym!!

I belong to the Clinton Planet Fitness and I feel that is it so much more cleaner than others I have been to in Florida. I feel like, Erin, does a good job at keeping the facility and bathrooms clean and the equipment dusted. The staff seems friendly.

I thought it was one of the worst planet fitness I've come across. Seems to me like the staff don't really keep up with the place. But I could be completely wrong I've only gone a like 3 times. I did notice not a lot of people clean the machines once they are done using it. The place could definitely use a remodel. The place is really outdated and not cleaned. If I could give this place a negative star I would.

Updating after 5 years of membership: the gym itself is nice. Most of the people that work there are friendly. Some of the members on the other hand seem to think they can put their belongings on separate treadmills than what they are using so nobody else can use the machine next to them. Staff does not make them move their stuff. It's really bad in the early morning . If they would fix this issue it would be a really great place to workout as this creates tension between members. Also, this gym has not gone back to the 24 hour schedule since COVID ended.

Still has the "free pizza Mondays and free bagel Tuesdays" sign up. That hasn't been offered since before the pandemic. After two years they took the sign down that said temporary hours 7a-7p and the 24hrs sign. Closing at 7 on the weekends is unreasonable. Other pf's have returned to full hours, but not this location. And the wifi here is abysmal, was fine until a year or two ago. Now you can't even load a web page if there are more than a few people in the gym.

I signed up at this location with the staff informing me that their current hours 2 years ago were temporary and they would be returning to 24hours. It’s really difficult for my work schedule to make it here until late at night regularly. I have to rush through a work out and I spend more money for the black card but don’t have enough time to use the amenities due to limited time and being rushed out at the end of the night. Equipment also needs to be updated, I’ve been to other locations and they have more to offer, this location is however on my commute.

I personally think that this location is a great place for a good workout.There are a good lot of choices of things to do here. For those who don't think there's enough to do here, then there are plenty of other gym locations that they can go to that offer that kind of stuff they're looking for. I have been a member of this facility for over a year since I moved around this area and don’t really have another option lol. Staff is always super nice (morning staff). Since yesterday I have had to go at night after work (9:00 pm) and noticed the staff is definitely not the best.
I brought a friend trying to convince her to join the gym today and asked the lady at the front about it and said they’re not doing daily passes anymore. lol how can someone try the gym then? She said she can get in by paying over $20 to workout (for less than an hour lol)
Also said if I wanted to I could bring it up to the owner Randy.
Definitely not recommending any friends to join here after this experience. I only go here because I don’t have another option near my house.

It's quite difficult to rate these establishments since they're constructed with the "cookie cutter" approach; not much differences between them. This location is fairly well maintained, not overly busy outside of the peaks, and the staff are (usually) considerate and helpful. I've been growing more disgruntled with their offerings. Not a fault of this location, but PF itself. Just not enough free weight freedom offered. All barbell exercises are relegated to the Smith machine approach, except a small selection of straight and ez curl bars, that max at 60 lbs. Just not enough for more advanced weight lifting. This location used to be 24 hrs, but since COVID, they've not returned to those hours. This was a large portion of the joining decision, and now will be reconsidered upon annual renewal.

It's a small planet fitness. there aren't many machines to work with and the population that this gym serves is simply too big for the size of the facility. They also false advertise that its 24/7, it's not. At the end of the day its a gym where if you're patient and dedicated you can get what you need to do done however there is a definite need for expansion. Also there aren't any scales in the entire facility to weigh one's self. The staff are friendly and its clean which is a plus though.

I moved to a new area and had to cancel my membership. They do not allow you to do this over the phone or online so they force you to come in. I didn't get to it immediately due to moving preparations so when i finally did i had missed my window to prevent being charged for a new yearly contract. When i contacted them they said there was nothing they could do and refused to refund me the $45. I understand that policies exist for a reason but there needs to be some amount of common sense considered. I was charged for a one year contract that was voided after 2 weeks. Thanks a lot Planet Fitness, you have forever lost a customer.

i was interrupted in the middle of stretching in the stretching area and was told i had to have my shoes as per “dress code” which i could not find any documentation of in the companies policies. who does yoga with shoes on? never again coming to this location, what a joke. i’ve been a member for years and have been to locations all over the country and have never had a problem before. this and many other things, retro fitness is looking more and more attractive

This is the no judgement zone fitness palace. If you think about that statement youll soon realize thats a very condescending pointed statement.
A fair amount of people who exercise are judgemental people are vane and have some void they are trying to fill.
Some exercise because of health issues.
Others exercise because a doctor strongly suggests they do. Then actually there are a very small amount of people who are truly athletes.
Planet fitness offers free pizza and bagels...
Two foods that are generally not healthy.
The gym doesnt have 1 barbell. Not a single barbell. They do have several smith machines. Cardio equipment is very abundant and there are several TVS.

Planet fitness is far from a true fitness center but rather a business set up to give non fitness people a place to thats affordable . Its bright and cheery.

The best thing about planet fitness is it gets those who dont really exercise out of the way of others who actually exercise in other gyms....for that they should be commended. Keep in mind should someone from planet fitness post a reply it will most likely be patronizing and actually condescending. Thats how they treat their clients who wants you to join a gym and then makes a mockery of your fitness endeavors by supplying you with free pizza and bagels.

Great gym! Clean, friendly environment. Love that it's open 24 hours. Management is responsive to suggestions and requests for equipment. Weekday early mornings and after 5 pm it's a bit crowded, especially in the free weight area. I think that's true in any gym, though. Price is excellent! Staff is generally pleasant and helpful.

This facility is clean and organized. Not sure why, bit the culture is to stay by yourself. I miss the interaction I had at other organizations. What does aggravate me the most are the people that violate the clean the machine rule. They rudely use the machine and move on to the next one without wiping them down. There are also the few that use inappropriate language. Its the same people all the time. Staff does not intervene and they rarely leave the service counter. Wish they would circulate through the floor and just being present would help with both of the negatives. My wife and I truly do enjoy working out there this past year.

I use this Planet Fitness several times a week. I generally go early in the morning. It is seldom seldom crowded unless it's raining outside.

The facility is always clean and the attendants are generally nice. The equipment is in good working order. Sometimes it does get rather warm inside. It is a large open space place to work out.
