I had went to Delran Planet Fitness with my daughter. We usually go to Burlington Planet Fitness; it is closer to us. Nonetheless; she wanted a smoothie afterwards so that's why we went to Delran Planet Fitness....{Smoothie Queen is nearby, lol} Nonethless; I had attempted to scan my membership pass at the front desk with my phone using the PlanetFitnessapp. For whatever strange reason; I was approached by a Planet Fitness worker. She had asked me for my identification!!! Yeah! Like really?!!!! WHY?!!! I did not know that Planet Fitness now is asking MEMBERS with a BLACK CARD for IDENTIFICATION!!!!!! I told her that I did not have my wallet with me & I did not have it in the car either. { WHO TAKES THEIR WALLET AND/OR PURSE TO THE GYM?????!!!!!!!!!} Anywho; this "worker" at Delran Planet Fitness said " it is the " protocall" to ask members for their identification". Much to my disbelief and curiosity; I asked if the Manager was in. She said she is the Manager. So I asked her to confirm my MEMBERSHIP on the computer at the desk. She said she cannot do that. I told her that's pretty odd, peculiar & highly irregular. I asked her to call the owner of Delran Planet Fitness. As she allegedly called him or her; she walked away. Why couldn't she place the call in front of me?? Also very odd, peculiar & suspicious 🤔 😐 🙄. Sooo, then FELICIA texted SOMEONE...... I'm waiting, my daughter's waiting; waiting to see what other tall tales 👀 & half truths this so called " Manager" came up with in regards to her not allowing me to go into the tanning booth with my PROOF OF MY BLACK CARD MEMBERSHIP AT ANY PLANET FITNESS.......
If my picture on my phone, on the Planet Fitness app which was presented & shown & scanned on the scanner; WHY WAS I DENIED ACCESS TO THE TANNING BOOTH BY MANAGER " FELICIA"?????? Go figure: was it because I am Caucasian or was it because she is a RACIST? I was made to feel unwelcome & unwanted at Delran Planet Fitness & I was made to feel EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE, EMBARASSED & SINGLED OUT!!!!!!
I will never ever step foot in that establishment ever again in my lifetime! The disregard, the ill mannered mistreatment & racial bias & prejudiced encounter that I was subjected to by that Manager was & is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE & UNFORGIVABLE!!!!!!!! SHAME ON HER, SHAME ON THAT SO CALLED " MANAGER" & SHAME ON THE CO~ WORKER THAT WAS NEXT TO HER BEHIND THE COUNTER ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN.

Really good PF location, locker rooms are always clean. Staff are friendly and attentive, equipment cleaning stations are always stocked with spray bottles and paper towels. For PF, not too many weirdos at this location, one of two in my area I frequent often. Hours are decent as well.

My favorite thing about Planet Fitness is the other clients. People are friendly, polite, and mind their own business. There’s never any waiting time for any equipment, and the staff is always helpful and professional.
Most of all, there are no body building types of folks, nor are there any females in distractingly short and tight outfits. That’s a double win for me.

This gym is not my normal gym because I have a classic card. My normal gym got canceled because they were doing maintenance on Friday. so I got authorization to go to this one, i

It was a very different experience from what I'm normally used to. The customers did not seem as friendly. (Not directly pf fault but the environment may have something to do with it)

There are no electronic counters on the machines.

The staff seems pretty friendly. I saw 2 shifts of 1 person each while I was there and they pretty much stayed at the desk there were 2 backpack vacuums that were there that was never used. The trash was overflowing. I had to transfer one of the rolls to the other cleaning station because they ran out.

If they hired another person per shift, this could have greatly helped

It is about half the size of my normal gym, and it's quite a little bit darke due to lighting.

I was there over five hours (it rained hard and I was not familiar with the gym There was not enough machines for me to double up)

While I'm used to broken machines, I am not used to not having backup or alternatives. The mts hammer chest machine was broken and there was no alternative. Some of the handgrip are worn or bunched up and torn and need replacing

Parking was not friendly experience and can be a problem because next door is staples and the somewhat agrressive signs say you can be towed if you park there.

Great gym. Plenty of equipment (cardio & weight training), although you may have to wait for a machine at times-that's true for any gym though. Plenty of parking also. The app gives you a crowd meter which allows you to see the busiest times. Each machine can be scanned with the app as well (a feature that is helpful for learning all about the different machines), for those who are new to weight training. Clean and welcoming -everything that you'd want from a gym. The staff is phenomenal also!! Great place to work out.

I am one of many now venturing out to join a gym after refraining during the pandemic. This gym is clean, not overly crowded, and the staff is very friendly. You can try one day for free. You could also be a guest of another member with Black Card membership level.

The gym is fairly basic, with plenty of equipment and so additional benefits if you have a Black Card membership. There are a couple of aqua massage tables, several massage chairs, and a couple of Full Body Fitness (not sure of the exact name) booths that incorporate red light and vibrational therapy (not easy to describe, you really have to try it at least once).

I am lucky enough to have a friend with a Black Card, so I’ve been able to try everything. If you’re looking for a swimming pool or a large variety of classes, then try another gym. Otherwise, you will find Planet Fitness and excellent and very reasonably priced choice.

They charged me anual fee of 50 something dollar on 1st december. I went to cancel and ask refund 2nd december. And suprise. They told me . We cant help you.

At first I didnt get the hype. Before visiting I thought the only big difference was that it is a 24hr gym... Well it was prepandemic... However after coming a few times as a guest with my dad I love it.. They have so many machines....AND THE SPA!!!! I spent half an hour of pure bliss on the hydrobed. 10out of 10 would recommended.

Don't let the overall 4.5 stars fool you. This gym is horrible! If more people submitted reviews their true rating would be 2 stars at MOST. They are always late opening at least once a week! This week they opened late 2 times!! And its only WEDNESDAY! There is no one to contact about this! The Regional managers refuse to hire reliable people!!! Looking for another gym to join!! Horrible way to run a business!!!

This location refuses to refund the $49 annual fee when I have only been a member for a month. I explained that I was having a hip surgery in a few weeks (that I can barely afford) and that I won’t be able to use my membership anymore. Don’t be fooled by their $1 down advertisements. Really liked this gym for the 30 min express workout. But not working out so well. Too many people just hanging out on machines jumping in wherever and whenever interrupting the purpose of the room. Not to mention just talking on their phones so f—ing loud sitting on a machine. It says it’s monitored. I haven’t seen that yet. Frustrating. Most people cool when you ask to jump in to continue with your routine but there are always those few ignorant people.

4 smith machines, no barbells or racks. It's planet fitness, not a true gym. There's always treadmills and ellipticals available, but the free weights leaves a lot to be desired. Not much availability for non-machine work either, floor space is very limited and there's probably 6 mats in the whole gym.

TL;DR: Want a treadmill and standard machines? Lovely place. Want to do your own motions? Terrible.

This location is Great!! They are always cleaning all of the machines' work. The staff is helpful. There was one young lady who stopped cleaning to explain to me how a machine worked that I had never used before! She advised me that she was there to help if I needed any more help. She was very receiving with a smile when I stopped her, and I appreciated that. I feel bad because I didn't get her name. I always get people's names, but I didn't. When I get her name, I will update it because she definitely needs to be acknowledged!!

This morning I arrived at Planet Fitness of Delran at 6am to walk up to the main entrance being locked. I double checked the hours and the gym should have opened at 5am. I waited for 15 minutes as I watched other gym members walk to the door to find it locked and leave. I understand if something happens to where the gym has to be closed but shouldn't something be noted on their website, Facebook, machine service when calling or front door for a paying customer to understand why they cannot access the gym. I called to inquiry and I was just told, we are open now. Great job guys, and I mean that with the utmost sarcasm.
