the owners of this planet fitness need to come in ASAP and secretly observe this location. the MANAGER CALEB is seen in the picture on his KNEES and PHONE to try to not deal with a customer, also there is another picture as proof that he uses and is on his phone DURING company hours and AT THE FRONT DESK which is HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE and has been seen doing so multiple other times!!! this manager CALEB is SOO unprofessional and needs to be evaluated since equipment is always broken or has a sign on it and the place isn’t the cleanest as to why there was a dead ROACH on the floor. Also the manager CALEB has yet to apologize or acknowledge my friend whom had an issue a couple months prior when he ( CALEB) tugged on our ankles with VACCUM CORD. SMH the owner needs to SECRETLY come and inspect this location so the manager doesn’t have time to prepare so you can see how he has YOUR location on a day to day basis and not just to pass an inspection.

The black card membership is only $25 a month which includes tanning full body sculpting hydro massage massaging chairs which all of those together with a single membership at another place would be well over that! And then you have all of their equipment with apps to help you properly set them up to your high weight and size. And if you can't get there that day, you can even look up exercise routines you can do from home. I would suggest them over any other gym just for all the benefits included which I would suggest the black card so you could take full advantage of everything they have to offer. I changed gyms a few weeks ago and for the most part it was a good gym. Clean and staff was nice except for the one girl working front desk. Always seemed like she didn’t want to be there and very aggressive in the way she did talks. Definitely needs to be retrained in customer service. The equipment and size is like the standard planet fitness though and overall pretty good.

I’ve been a member at this gym and others in the network for some time, and I’ve always had positive experiences—until my recent visit on Wednesday, June 18th around 9:30 AM. Upon arrival with my friend, we briefly spoke with the front desk associate. While standing near the front area, I suddenly felt something tugging at my ankle. I looked down to find that a vacuum cord had wrapped around my legs. As I stepped out of it, the cord then tangled around my friend’s ankle as well. No warning was given, and no one said “excuse me” or gave any sort of courtesy heads-up. This was surprising, as in every other club I’ve visited, team members have always been respectful and communicative when cleaning near members. Unfortunately, the situation escalated due to how the manager (Caleb) handled it. Rather than addressing the issue directly or offering a simple apology, he made a dismissive comment to my friend—in a condescending tone and from across the room—while leaning on a trash can. He did not acknowledge me at all, despite the fact that I was the one directly affected. We were in the middle of a workout, and other members were present, making the interaction even more inappropriate and uncomfortable. Later, I spoke with another team member who seemed shocked by what had happened. I was told the manager simply reminded staff to “be aware when vacuuming,” but that feels like an inadequate response, especially given how unsafe and targeted the experience felt. It’s also concerning that this manager may have a personal issue with my friend’s boyfriend, who is a staff member, which raises questions about whether this incident was truly accidental.To make matters worse, I found out that video footage of the incident was shown to staff members who weren’t present at the time. That felt like an unnecessary breach of privacy and further illustrates the lack of professionalism from management.I’m a paying member who came in for a workout—not to be physically entangled by equipment or treated disrespectfully by the very people responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment. I hope corporate takes these concerns seriously, as this experience was unacceptable on multiple levels.

what keeps me coming to this planet fitness specifically, is not a difference in equipment but is the difference in staff. Just convenient location and clean but the management at this location took too long to repair, replace broken equipment. There's 2 leg press machine ,1 was still broken for months....not repair or replacing! Even the sign on it says out of order has worn off! No wonder lots of people have left this location. Another loose point is they're getting away with not opening 24 hours anymore but monthly fee $$ is still the same as before COVID 19.
Edit: New equipments 👍 after raising the monthly membership but still not open 24 hours. The problem is the club sometimes gets crowded and smelled weed/ smokes in the locker room very bad! But I guess something that we don't have control over!
....my favorite machine broke again that's only one there at that location.

I have been a member at the EHT Planet Fitness for over 4 years and never missed a membership payment. Going to the gym today, the manager (Caleb) of the planet fitness in EHT told my that he was denying my entry to the gym because I didn't have two forms of payment in the system. When I inquired as to why I need two forms of payment since I pay every month, he stated that management at the EHT PF had problems in the past with its Spanish customers making their payments. I have never been so insulted in my life. Caleb was so rude and condescending and had no management skills what so ever. Does Planet Fitness train its managers at all? What a racist thing to say to a long term customer. I cancelled my membership to say the least.

As of yesterday 2/14/2025 I be canceling my membership I saw many employers goes and come they almost never stay long.
But the new crew happens to be the absolute worst team planet fitness have in almost 6 years that I been a member.
I had heard the employees talk bad about black kids. Talking about they act like animal that comment hurt my soul, I also see when some the employees friend and family member come in to workout with no charge
But if a member having problem with a bill past do for a day they had embarrassed them and kick them out the gym in front other people I witnessed this. Employees sitting on top of the front desk super unprofessional run the tape back one month cameras don’t lie. On there personal phone on social media
And the last one if one of them don’t like u they all don’t like u. They will make things up against you so fast and guess what is nothing u can do because is no phone number to complain about management or the team management will cover them up
Management is in complete control
I must admit planet fitness save my life that is the truth
Who ever is the owner wake up this people are destroying planet fitness reputation

many of the new employees and managment are abusing there power. one sample if you have a problem with management they will kick u out of the gym and is nothing you can do. if employees don’t like you they will make false complaints against you and the moment you stand up for your self you will be red flag.is hard to contact the manager boss to put a complaint

I've had a bicycle stolen from outside this facility. Management is aware of it. My bicycle is my only mode of transportation, I wont ride my bicycle here any longer because there is nowhere on the property to lock it and you are not allowed to bring it inside the lobby. You would think beings over a year ago my bicycle was stolen, they would have put a bike rack in place. Employees are allowed to bring their bicycles into the facility SMFH!

A police report was filed, my issue is you do not provide anything outside of your facility for safekeeping of a bicycle.

I live 7 minutes from this location but chose to drive 20 minutes to Somers Point location because this gym is always full and never any room on the benches, but they made a major upgrade by eliminating the 30 min workout room that was almost always empty and added 5 benches with tons of free weights. I will start coming here again because of this. Smart move by management!

I’m traveling the nation and have literally been to over 100 planet fitnesses. Generally they are amazing and have been a highlight of my trip. However, this location had the rudest employee and “unique” rules of any Planet fitness I’ve been to. This was my first (and only) time coming to this location.

The club closes at 10pm and at 9:32pm I went to sign up for a massage in the black card area. The screen was blank and I told the employee and she said with attitude: “That’s because it closes at 9:30.” Ive done tons of massages or tanning within 30 minutes of closing at other clubs so disappointing this location would create their own rules that’s bad for their guests.

Also when I first walked into the club the same female employee walked away from the desk as I was logging in (didn’t even say hello or acknowledge I was there) and I signed up for a massage then and she didn’t return for over 5 minutes. Again no acknowledgment that she made me wait for a long time.

The location itself isn’t bad but the total rudeness of the employee and weird rules left a sour taste.

As someone who travels and stays in their car frequently, this is a very nice gym to freshen up in, in the morning. Clean spacious showers, spacious changing rooms with mirrors, the hot water is amazing along with water pressure. Everyone minds their business including the staff so no need to have a pointless workout before hand, just head right to the locker room then leave. The staff is all friendly and won’t ask questions.

I visited this gym on a black card trial run. It's not a huge size gym, but has plenty of various spots to workout with a bunch of good quality machines. I was able to get to all the machines I needed even though it was a little busy on a weekday afternoon. The music was awesome with good array of diff styles. The locker room and shower was clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my visit here and recommend to others. Great job EHT PF!

I've been a member at several locations in different states,NYC,MD and PA..this location by far has an owner/manager that does not care..So many out of order machines too many to count and for weeks including the handicapped women's bathroom..Corporate needs to step in...after over a decade with PF(a regular user) I am looking into a private gym ,I drive over 20 Min to get here only to not be able to use the cardio machines...thankfully the staff is nice or this would be 1 star

I have sent out two separate letters to cancel my membership since the shut down for Covid and in the past three years they still take money from me randomly throughout the year. They just charged my card $40 today at random after thinking I finally had the issue fixed the last time I tried to cancel. Planet fitness should not be this hard to cancel! Escalating to see how I can get this fixed it’s ridiculous at this point. If I could put 0 stars I would. I’m from out of town and came to the EHT location to workout. The place is very clean, plenty of machines, and people are friendly. I left my ear buds there by accident the other day. I came in the next not really hoping they’d be turned in. Kudos to the member of staff person who found and turned them in to the front counter. When I described them the staff found them in their drawer and returned them to me. That’s rare in a gym. We’ll done Planet Fitness EHT! This is a great place to work out while hitting the shore!!

I'm a gym member for 4 months. The place is very clean and the equipment's fairly new. I would like to see classes since they're very social like yoga palladi's and Zumba. People are going to pay extra for classes because they're social you can charge more. I used to pay a membership at $60 a month over at Tilton and I was there for a very long time. Christina is the nicest ever and she loves her job, as you can tell bc she cares about the staff and memebers. Shantel and TJ on the weekend are always so nice and always cleaning the club and one of the cleanest planets I have ever been too. Christina, Shantel and TJ deserve a raise since they do a very great job on the cleanliness of the club and always having positive attitudes. Shantel and TJ care about their jobs also and always helping out members and everything! All 3 of them always are laughing and having a good time and it’s nice to see everyone happy. I'm Black Membership card holder. Drove miles to go tanning, get there and need to buy eye protection for 50 cents, they don't take cash and credit card reader down, which happens here often. I’m a new member I only joined because I wanted the cheap option to see if I can actually stick with the gym. However I will be switching over because of the hours. I work two jobs and can’t get to the gym until 9pm and can only get 1 hour in. So I really do wish they were open until at least 12am. I know that with COVID restriction they probably changed it 2 years ago but I would hope they would be open a little longer.

However they are clean, friendly staff, 95% of the equipment works. Though I do wish they had a bigger place to do floor exercise.

I went today to tried to open an account with planet fitness all the guy said “download the app and do it there”. I was in the front desk trying to open and account for like a good 10 minutes and these 2 employees were just standing there. I asked them twice if they couldn’t just do it in the computer because i was having trouble with the app and they said no. I left without an account because they didn’t provide any help at all. Useless people working there.

I have been a planet fitness member for several years I am very upset with the fact that the customer representative people working there are made to be janitors it's not right that's a different pay rate. My last visit to egg harbor township planet fitness the tanning booth I felt like I was in a public bathroom at Subway it was so dirty the person before me should be banned from planet fitness this is not acceptable and it's not fair to make those poor kids go clean up after dirty people

The pace is very nice and big . There’s a lot of equipment to use . You don’t have to wait around for people to get off the machines. There’s something for everyone .

Great example of a corporate gym. Clean and everything works but the environment is very mild. (This is from 6 months ago and a lot has changed)

What a shame, the place has fallen apart. Expectations were low and my needs were modest, I was just looking for a place to do some cardio, and now too many pieces of equipment have been down for weeks with no plans to get them back online according to the front desk.

It was easy to overlook the lack of gym etiquette, the spotty internet and the laxidasical atmosphere when the equipment was all new and functional. Looks like the honeymoon is over. Very frustrating to get up early to work out, only to find that you wasted the trip.
